Perfect for our budget and location, really clean room with good facilities. Bed was really comfy so slept really well. Well equipped shared kitchen downstairs with tea and coffee. We had our own bathroom with shower, parking was right outside on the road, permit holder only until 6pm on Saturday but this suited us as we were at Clifford Spa until 9pm.

The only downside was the noisy couple staying upstairs, we could hear them in their room in the middle of the night and their bathroom was right outside our room so we could hear them in their too. Obviously no fault of the of the owner.

Good location for getting to East Midlands Airport! Good kitchen amenities On the whole this property was perfect for what we needed, a stay before we flew out of East Midlands. There was a car park which was free of charge after 6pm on the saturday which was good, however there is a small theatre across the road and we found the car park full when we came back from dinner, but we found a place just on the road up from the property so wasnt an issue.

Every time someone opened a door in the building it seemed to make our door move which was a bit unnerving during the night as i kept thinking someone was trying our door, but obviously they weren't. Not sure if there is a way to stop this happening, i know it could definitely be unnerving for others, especially travelling on their own.

Good value for money, comfortable and clean. Owner very helpful with pre arrival information and prompt response to a query. Nice touches with tea and coffee facilities.

Initial appearance particularly first external door is poor and badly in need of replacement. The door into the property has a loose handle and seemed to have dropped making it difficult to open. This initially put us off which was a shame as the property met our needs well for a brief overnight stay while travelling from Scotland to the south of England.

Lovely guest house so close to all shops ,high street etc. Really clean, easy check in and out . The lady I dealt with Katharine was absolutely lovely, fab communication. Even arranged to put up a birthday banner and balloon for my daughters birthday for when we arrived .The beds were so comfy a brilliant night sleep.We were visiting the Clifford health club the following day, which is only a 5 minute walk from the guesthouse. An uber from Long eaton train station to the property was only £4.50. There is a home bargain also at the end of the street across the road if you need any drinks, snacks, etc. It really was a pleasant stay and everything you need to hand just down the road ,little town centre , pubs , places to eat and of course the amazing Clifford health centre and spa. Book this guesthouse you won't be disappointed 😊

Nothing it was all really good

Everything is modern looking and spotlessly clean. Bed was very comfortable. Loved the idea of the kitchen/lounge area although we didn't use it on this occasion. Location is excellent, right in the centre of the town and within easy walking distance of local amenities. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

The narrow staircases leading up to the top floor, perhaps it would be possible to put the floor information in the room info. The on street parking is permit only from 9 to 5 Monday to Friday.

This was my second time staying at this lovely guesthouse. The communication with the hosts was excellent, it is reassuring when you know they are very approachable and just a phone call away if needed. The location is good, quite central. The cooking facilities are practical. I had a bigger room this time, there was a desk, which was handy for work. WiFi worked well. In general, I found everything I could ever possibly need, and with an excellent quality. This is a place to return to when I am back in the area again.

I loved everything.

The location is central. There is a car park nearby at a very reasonable price. The supermarkets are within walking distance. The property is stylish. The shower experience was excellent! The room was warm. Cooking facilities are present. There is a hairdryer in the room. I had a welcome call from the owners, explaining a few details, which was very helpful. It was a very nice personal touch in the era of "no-contact", and it felt great!

I can't think of anything. I found there everything I needed. I probably would add a small kettle in the room "as an extra mile".

The room was very clean . Plenty of clean towels available . Great communication with host. Great price for the room . Good location for a function I was attending at a nearby “ expensive “ hotel.

The room was small , I was travelling alone so not too bad . I could imagine with two adults may feel quite small. Saying that I wasn’t in the room a lot so didn’t make much of a difference.

Very comfortable bed in a smallish but reasonably sized room. Very small but adequate shower and toilet room. Hosts not present but very helpful. Near the centre of Long Eaton and handy for public transport.

Road noise most of the night and the key box entry system needs both hands and isn't in a well lit corner. But doable of course . Kitchen available for use but with sachets of coffee and sugar running low.

Brilliantly set up facility. Immaculately clean. Very functional and suited our 1 night stay perfectly. A small note regarding room 4 that the bed is needing a maintenance check - frame noisy and creaky, and the mattress although comfortable enough I think may be coming to the end of it's useful life. This is not really meant as a criticism but more something the owners may not be aware of in what is otherwise a fabulous establishment:))
