The Holiday Inn was very welcoming, friendly and the building was was looked after too. Though there were stairs, you could get around with plenty of flat accessible areas to get around. It felt like you were in the middle of nowhere though you were just off the main road. The staff were very nice and couldn't do enough for us and went above and beyond for us too as well in making sure I could eat and didn't have any allergy issues as well t because I'm coeliac and have an allergy to dairy and checked everything that they gave me which I ordered which was very nice of them and also gave me plenty of soya milk to which was lovely too for my cups of tea. The rooms were clean and the lights weren't too bright either which is great for us especially as I have light sensitivity issues been austic and adhd and the bed was comfortable too and had a fantastic nights sleep. It was also very nostalgic too to have the option to have a phone in the room and order room service which we did do (and felt like Miranda from the TV sitcom when she did it) or speak to the reception if you needed too as we haven't stayed anywhere that has had that before so that was an added bonus too. Overall would definitely be staying again a Holiday Inn and highly recommend them.

All the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help us. They didn’t have a twin room available so we were given a double with a sofa bed. The sofa bed was actually very comfortable. It was lovely and quiet. One of the receptionists even walked all the way down to our room with me when I couldn’t get the key to work. At breakfast there was a lot of choice. We asked for veggie sausages and a poached egg and these were brought over to our table in a few minutes. The staff at breakfast were all very friendly and kept asking if we needed anything else.

The room was exactly what we wanted for a single over night. Twin beds, TV, towels, kettle, plenty of plug sockets. Check in was really easy and the wifi did not need a code so was super easy. We didn't hear anyone or anything for the whole length of our stay. Everything about our stay was just what we needed. Located very close and just off the M1 we were ready the next day to continue our journey.

We were only provided with one bath towel and a hand towel - for two of us in a twin bedded room. A set each would have been much better and what we would have expected.

ideal location just off M1 and proximity to Nottingham. Super friendly and obliging staff , Manager asked every day if we were happy with the service and facilities and food. very impressed that he was very visible and hands on and very supportive and complimentary of his own staff too. Excellent breakfast, absolutely everything for everyone - such choice and variety- and if the eggs on the breakfast buffet are not to your liking, you can ask for poached or omelette - that option was offered to me by the gentleman who welcomed me to breakfast as he marked my room number off his list. I did express my appreciation of that gent's kindness to the Manager, that's over and above of excellent care and attention and service. Highly recommend this Holiday inn. Also please do take a visit to The Caves in Nottingham City Centre, the approach to which is a fascinating display of street artists creating their works of art on graffiti boards approved by the Council! Altogether a great experience in Nottingham and a great stay at the Holiday Inn. Thank you go all the friendly people who made it so.

Toilet was a bit tight between basin unit and bath - that bathroom was a bit too compact. Excellently clean and nice soft towels, pleased to say.

When we arrived we had low expectations £66.00 including breakfast so didn't expect much.The exterior of the hotel was, frankly, pretty awful but as we walked through the door we were pleasantly surprised. Nice design and welcoming spaces . Staff all lovely, very welcoming and friendly and all very keen to help. We were upgraded at reception to a bigger room with a sofa . Room was comfortable and bed was great. WiFi was a bit patchy and t.v channel choice not great but overall a very nice stay. Food in the restaurant ( Asian tapas) was fresh and tasty and breakfast was great.We ⁶expected that for the price we paid we'd probably justcget continental breakfast but it was full English with quality items.

The room was very comfortable and the staff were so lovely and helpful, providing us with a travel cot too. We loved the breakfast - especially the variety on offer and the green smoothie was delicious. We requested vegetarian sausages too which were made fresh and really appreciated. The breakfast staff also warmed up some milk for our 18 month old. Overall, the stay was lovely, staff super friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for having us.

The only thing I would have liked was a bath in our room but we only had a shower - it wasn't a problem but it is just easier to bath a baby than to shower them.

Well equipped comfortable room. The hotel was clean and new facilities throughout the inside of the building. The staff were great, with thanks to Mandy who went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and assist us. It's a pet friendly hotel with lots of grassy patches for them to enjoy. The breakfast was great with a variety of options including meat and gluten free. There is a lot of car parking. Thank you again for a great stay.

The outside of the hotel doesn't do it justice. The interior looks a decade ahead of the exterior. I guess you can't judge a book by its cover.

We were delighted with the hotel. It was very clean, the staff helpful and very friendly, and the bed very comfy. The sofa bed was not so comfortable. However, overall it was absolutely brilliant and we enjoyed all aspects. The location was perfect for our trip into Nottingham (so near park and ride) for our trip to the University open day and the city centre.

Just that the sofa bed was not very supportive for my slim but tall 19 year old daughter. Otherwise everything was great.

The staff are lovely and very welcoming, the rooms are excellent, and the beds comfy.

I checked the menu on line and it isn't what is being served in the restaurant, at all. the food was good, tho not what we went for. We would have gone out, not a lot of choice. Plus there was no heating on in the restaurant and bar, we were freezing. The place is lovely and we may have enjoyed our meal more with a little heat in the place. It was very quiet, and not a lot of people about so maybe saving a little but definitely at a cost to those that were there.

Exceptionally clean room, comfy bed, air conditioned. Very quiet location. Great to have restaurant and bar on site as we were tired on arrival. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great too. Tea and coffee facilities in room.

The hotel looks dated but this is a budget hotel, the rooms have been redecorated and have modern bathrooms. Our standard room was quite small but ideal for an overnight stay.
