We booked last minute after a awful stay in Birmingham leaving that property early, we where so happy to be greeted by a lovely receptionist who couldn’t be more helpful and friendly, we had two rooms interjoining witch was not a problem to arrange the evening before the room was clean comfortable, we had a evening meal witch was very enjoyable again staff really friendly food was excellent, breakfast thismorning was lovely can’t fault our stay would definitely recommend and stay again

Shower has slight mild and meldrew, duvets are stained and thin need replacing, and it is a little noisey at night from other guest and bottles been emptied

The room was quite nice, with lovely interior. The bed was comfy. When we arrived, we were met by a very friendly lady receptionist, it was a really pleasant beginning of our stay.

As we had a room which is closest to the motorway, it was very noisy. It was not a problem when the windows were closed but then it got stuffy, so we had to keep at least one window open. The light switch for the toilet is near the entrance door which is weird and also when you turn it on, it switches on the light near the sink which is in the room. It wakes up the other person who’s asleep. We’ve never come across such strange arrangement before. That and the first issue with noise/stuffiness is the reason I gave the hotel 8.

All the staff were extremely friendly and caring , nothing was to much trouble , the food was excellent hot and fresh and the lady "Chris" who was in the restaurant went above and beyond her duty , a very very kind helpful lady ,, I would like my many many thanks passed onto her for the help she gave me "with my daughters wedding jacket " which I'm sure she would understand , all staff should br paradises , will be recommending this hotel to my friends and family .

Maybe a lounge area with a bar so could unwind with others before retiring to own room .

We used the hotel as a base for an event at Beeston Hockey Club. It was a really easy journey to the club and also to Long Eaton for food. The property was clean and comfortable and the staff really helpful. Very convenient to the M1. Great value for money.

The convenience of the location has to be balanced with the road noise from the motorway. It didn’t bother us but we were aware of it. I could see were it could be a problem for others. We used the outside picnic benches which were very useful. The bin wasn’t emptied for the duration of our three day stay. Not a massive issue but just an observation.

Breakfast was great plenty of choice, staff very friendly, room was lovely and big. Reception staff amazing Lorna was very helpful a lady who does enjoy her job. The following morning on Sunday we rang down to reception and a gentleman answer ed who was very polite and said we could extend our room until 11am. Will definitely be stopping again , this is our 2nd visit and hasn't disapointed. Many thanks to all

Only complaint not really a complaint was our room had been freshly painted and strong smell of paint fumes .

Only looking for a cheap family room and it fitted the bill perfectly. It was cheap, clean, had comfy beds, had tea making facilities and a nice hot shower. Checked-in before arrival, so the processes of check-in and out were very efficient, with the staff on reception being friendly and helpful.

It is conveniently close to the Motorway, but that does mean you can hear the road noise all the time.

The staff are always fab here. The Young lady on reception on the 22nd August is lovely. Always is. And the young lady who did the breakfasts on the 23rd. I stayed in the Novotel earlier in the year and the breakfast was poor. Always a good breakfast here. I'm quite a regular here now and I've noticed a lot of familiar faces from visits before so it shows how good a place this is.

We were greeted on arrival by a lovely smiling receptionist, I think her name may have been Lorna, Natalie looked after us in the restaurant & she was amazing, friendly, helpful & polite x

My only gripe was no air con in rooms, my room was 27.5 degrees the whole time even with fans & windows open

Stayed here a number of times & staff always so friendly. Rooms nice, great shower & big television. Normally quiet hotel even tho it's close to motorway. Think all rooms have a fan (bonus)

Slightly later check out, 10am is to early. 11 or 12 would be great

The restaurant opposite was closed for breakfast I thought the change made at the hotel was better. Got to thank the breakfast staff the specially made poached eggs were spot on....

Stay was fine - just one issue was there was only hand towels in the room not a bath towel - but I managed.
