We spent 3 nights there while attending Download Festival. The bed was lovely and firm, so really comfortable. It was nice and quiet, considering there's a relatively busy road nearby. Nice and clean too with a lovely view, as we were at the back. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. On our first morning there, we were asked if we wanted poached or fried eggs with our cooked breakfast.

There was only one plug socket on one side of the bed. Both sides would be more useful. We weren't offered a choice of eggs on the other two mornings, as there was no staff on the counter. No black pudding either.

The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. The room was beautiful and clean. Lovely clean toilet and shower-room - a bonus that they were separate, given the amount of time my husband spends in the shower !! Will definitely use again, and would highly recommend.

I wasn’t overly impressed with the breakfast. I like my food to be hot - and it was just warm. The quality and choice were good - just the temperature that was lacking. We ate in the restaurant in the evening. Choices were pretty limited and I got the distinct impression that the food was microwaved!! If I’m wrong - I apologise. But that was my impression. Although we will stay there again, we will go out to eat.

The breakfast was lovely. Eggs cooked to order and a wide variety of items from buffet. Friendly staff. Very clean. Very welcoming foyer and reception. Plenty of free parking. Very clean room. Comfy bed. Wifi was great. There's a restaurant but we didn't use it. The bar is good for an evening drink. For us the location was perfect as we were visiting family nearby. It's a about half hour drive into the city. Very affordable price for our room with breakfast. I will definately stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel many years ago. Walking back in you could see it's be refurbished. Ideal location for what we wanted (visiting family nearby) as it was within walking distance. Great place (just off the M1) to visit other parts of the area easily. Would definately stay again.

Breakfast was a typical buffet style so a bit cold by the time we got to it. However that wouldn't stop me having it again, I'd just make sure I'm there a bit earlier and if need be ask staff for warmer food - we were in a hurry!

Fantastic customer service. We had booked several rooms for one night and decided we needed an additional night. We had many requirements due to accessibility. With phone calls and emails their responses were timely with reassurance and the hotel were amazing at accommodating these. Staff were friendly, nothing was too much trouble and they were caring throughout our stay.

Everything about our stay was just brilliant.

Ample sized room with facilities to make drinks. Fridge also in room which came in handy our stay was during the June heatwave. Nothing too much trouble for staff - staff changes throughout our stay - friendliness and helpfulness was constant.

Only realised we had air conditioning when the cleaner came in and put it on for us, it was kind of out of sight. But very much appreciated it being left on for when we came back in from sightseeing.

Beautiful spacious room. Clean and tidy bathroom and comfy bed. Amazing stay. Late checkout which was also perfect. Definitely will be staying again 🙂

Everything was spot on in terms of stay however the rooms were a little cold. When asked for heaters the hotel wasn't able to supply working and adequate heaters. Also the stay was quite pricing at £79 for a one night stay. I wish further discount and reduced prices are available for my next stay.

I stayed for one night with my 5 and 7 yr old and it was very comfortable. The staff were really welcoming everywhere to me and my children ( which to be honest can be a worry when travelling anywhere with children). We had a hot drink at the bar area before bed and breakfast int he morning and it was all fab! Bed was really comfortable and large. Even saw some very fluffy looking foxes playing out the window before bed.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable rooms newly refurbished. It is close to transport links and has excellent staff. I requested a quiet room and it was. We were also allowed early access as it was ready when we arrived which was a huge bonus.

The hotel would benefit from a more obvious sign by the driveway. I’m being a bit picky but the pillows weren’t comfortable and the buffet breakfast could have been hotter.
