Very comfortable, clean, good facilities and lounge. Very friendly and helpful staff. Convenient for the race circuit.

First impression of the hotel is the anxiety of remembering to clear the car parking charges. The signs have to read to be understood. I wasn't clear whether there was a blanket, no-conditions free four hours of parking or not. I had to ask and even then, I was anxious I'd end up with a charge. To save money I parked on the local estate. A fine first impression is walking into a clean and friendly foyer. The pipes near my room, 430, were very noisy. Even though I am a heavy sleeper, I was woken at least twice by these during the small hours of the night and then woken early in the morning.

The room was very spacious with comfy beds and pillows, a plate of chocolate brownies and fresh fruit were waiting for us in the room with chocolate writing saying happy anniversary as it was our 45th anniversary, staff were very friendly and welcoming

We specifically booked this hotel as returning guests as we wanted to use the leisure facilities, swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi etc, it being our 45th wedding anniversary and wanted to relax but only after booking I received an email saying the pool was closed, it was very disappointing

The room was very nice (Upgraded to an executive room as a frequent user) clean, well equipped. the shower was hot and powerful. Bed was firm but comfy, lots of pillows which I like. The room was a good temperature and in a quiet part of the hotel. Very happy with the room

The service in the restaurant wasn't very good. the food was of a very good standard but let down by the inattentive servers. Would have ordered more drinks, a dessert and coffees, but we asked the server for a dessert menu and she never returned. Decided not to try breakfast and ate out for the two morning we were there. Also had an evening meal out on the second night, which was a shame as the menu had some other items I wanted to try, but the service on the first night put us off.

Staff were professional, Lillie in particular was super helpful and made an effort to ensure I was OK. The gym was very clean and had a great modern range of equipment. The decor was recently updated and in good taste, breakfast was decent and really enjoyed the evening meal. Very comfy bed, noise was low and a lovely stay.

If I am going to nit-pick the TV was a bit dated and it was too old to hot spot your phone to. Given how up to date the gym is, and how updated the rest of the hotel is the TV falls behind. There is a magnificent cable machine but it lacks attachments which limits what I can do on it. Again, I'm nit-picking because with such a wonderful gym, it would not hurt to add a triceps attachment. There is a sign asking customers to wipe the machines down after use (which I liked) however nobody wants to use a thin paper towel and come into contact with the sweat being wiped off seats. A towel that can be thrown in wash bin, would be more fitting for this clean and well equipped and as clean as that. Paper towels aren't hygienic and isn't very environmentally friendly.

The accommodation has been fully renovated very recently and everything in our room was completely changed, the bed, carpet, curtains, wardrobes, desk and chairs. The bathroom had a large walk-in shower and all the fittings were good quality and brand new. Decorations were of a high standard.

The breakfast was fine except for the bacon, which was much too hard. When we booked there was no mention of car park fee. On the morning of leaving home, we got an email from booking.com saying car park was £8 per night. We have used this hotel several times before and never paid for parking. We queried this on checking in and was told if we book direct, there is no car park fee. Also, disappointing that the swimming pool is not up and running.

Room booked for two adults through Booking.com five days before arrival. Three days before arrival, I contacted the hotel directly by phone to upgrade the booking to include our grandaughter which was verbally confirmed. On arrival, at 11pm, the Duty Manager, Mark, had no information regarding the amendment, but checked our room could take a z-bed and with Steve sorted it out straight away. Five star review for Mark and Steve. We booked to include breakfast and the breakfast list did show three guests.

The person taking my call to amend my booking recording the change in the system so that we could have got into our room sooner. The hotel is being refurbished and whilst our room was very fresh and clean, the mechanism allowing to swap from bath to shower was only allowing the hot water feed to pass through. The water was very hot so we could only have a bath, not a shower. This was reported at reception when we checked out

Wow what a find! We only booked this when we couldn’t get in to any of the Nottingham hotels we usually use and didn’t have high hopes given it was so much cheaper than other available rooms but boy were we wrong! From the moment we arrived everything was fantastic, from the friendly welcome at reception to the large and immaculate room. The recently refurbished room was extremely large, with a separate part with wardrobe, desk, hospitality tray and space to store luggage. In the bedroom area there was a large and very comfy bed along with a settee and seating area. The bathroom was huge and finished to an exceptionally high standard. I loved that the controls for the large walk in shower were well away from the shower heads meaning you could set the shower going and get it to temperature without having to stand under a cold shower - brilliant design. The hospitality tray had a kettle, a coffee machine and a range of different sized cups - not often you can have an espresso in an espresso cup in a hotel room. There were cakes, biscuits and savoury snacks provided. This hotel was fantastic value for money and we will stay here again. Congratulations to the team- it’s clear you are rightly proud of your hotel.

Shame there is a charge for parking but even with that it was great value for money.

Location to EMA, staff super friendly, parking right outside. Food excellent. Rooms spotless and very modern.

Chromecast in any other room I’ve stayed in previously but this stay it wasn’t actually a function on the TV at all. There was no menu on the tv apart from the standard TV one. Also the bathroom door was open when I arrived and there was a little bit of a musty smell from the bathroom, but it was spotlessly clean.

We had a car issue on departure from the Hotel. Joanne the receptionist went the extra mile to help and Richard a member of staff, too went the extra mile to help us carry on our journey home. This came after a 5 HR flight with a further 2 hour car journey ahead,we cannot thank them enough. The room was lovely,it was a shame we only had a very short time in it!

We couldn't find anything that we didn't like, apart from having to pay an additional fee to use the Hotel car park. This was surprising considering the Hotel's room charges.

Superb Staff. Right from Check in, (thank You Joanna, Jasmine and Joanna) through to the waitresses and serving staff at Breakfast and at Dinner. Breakfast is everything you could ask for and really sets you up for the day. Also a special request at Breakfast time was no bother or problem at all.

Felt that the main restaurant, a Celebrity Chef theme was a bit limited in choice. The food was fine, but if you are staying more than 1 night this is the only dining option and menu is a bit samey.
