room beds the location very good. The receptionist named Holly was excellent, she was very helpful with a booking I needed to make away from the hotel & she she made the booking for me & gave me great advice on directions...She she was on duty again the next morning and took time to ask me how it all went. She is a great asset to the hotel as she is very friendly and efficient and very welcoming on arrival at the hotel. The bar &restaurant staff were also very friendly & the service was excellent.

I am afraid the other 2 receptionist need more training on the basic facts of helpfulness how to smile & stand up when guest approach the reception desk & not to say to a guest they are wrong like I was rudely told 3/4 times, they also need to realise that they are the first people that have contact with guests & first impressions are a very important roll of a receptionist.

Lovely staff, nice large room and bathroom. Lovely to have nespresso machine in the room as well as kettle and liked the espresso cups and ice bucket, nice touches. Also enjoyed the Espa toiletries and huge bath towels. Beds were very comfortable. We stayed on a mon and tues so there was no nightclub noise and we slept very well indeed. When we checked in we were asked if we wanted housekeeping the following day, we said no need so we were offered a choice of a drink at the bar or a £10 food voucher (which we used towards breakfast).

Squeeky bathroom door fairly minor point but it was quite loud.

We had a really lovely overnight stay at this Hotel. The staff are all amazing, nothing is too much trouble - they really do go over and above to put the Customer first. From the Reception Staff, Breakfast Staff and Cleaning Staff - everyone is just fantastic - the right balance of being friendly but very professional. I have to say that the lady who was working in the breakfast service this morning was fantastic! ( 15th August) Really worked hard with a smile throughout the whole time we were there, despite a particular guest making an unreasonable request of whether they could be provided with rice for breakfast - that was a new one for me! But the member of staff smiled politely and said she would ask the Chef. Our room was very comfortable and the toiletries were just lovely - the shampoo, hand wash are very good quality and its also great to have Hair Conditioner provided . Thank you for a fabulous stay all and keep doing what you are doing!

Nothing not to like

The beds are amazing - like firm clouds, so soft and cosy, but supportive and great for quality sleep. Could hardly realise we were on a main road in the centre of the city; great noise cancelling windows and window dressing. Great service in person and virtually. It was a really fancy experience.

It would've been helpful in the booking confirmation to have instructions to find the car park and how to alert the hotel to gain entry. A couple of spots of mould in the bathroom but just a tiny amount. Left request for breakfast on the door handle and checked the option for 6:30-6:45 but breakfast wasn't served until 7am at weekends. Ours arrived at 7:10 when I enquired about its whereabouts at 7. The quantity was generous and the quality good.

Convenient location. Staff were exceptionally pleasant, welcoming and helpful during the limited interactions we had with them. Room size was fine and well-equipped, including a pod coffee machine and plenty of cups/glasses. Very comfortable bed. Air-conditioning was effective. Large TV.

Feel like the rooms were not especially well sound-insulated. More sound from outside and corridors compared with some chains. Although noticeable, this didn't have too much impact on us. It would also be nice if the hotel had a dedicated bar of some kind. AC was a little noisy but nothing major.

The location was really convenient for Nottingham city centre, and the Bus/ Train Stations. The staff were friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. There were a number of vouchers available for discounts at the restaurant, but I didn't use the restaurant, so I can't judge that experience.

While there were vouchers for the restaurant, from reading them, it didn't appear you could use them together, only one at a time, which seemed strange. Breakfast wasn't included in my offer, if that is something you look for in hotels.

Good position in the city, secure car park next to the hotel, all staff were very friendly and helpful, very clean, great facilities, nice large room with a very comfy bed, fridge in room , nice large on suite with the most amazing smelling toiletries, , plenty of towels , dressing gown and slippers , desk, chair, sofa bed, large tv , coffee table, large double wardrobe, hairdryer , iron ironing board , safe , kettle, coffee maker complementary tea, coffee , coffee pods , Biscuits, bottled water . Air conditioner/ heating . Plenty of mirrors and plug sockets. Restaurant, bar and room service. Breakfast was fab with plenty of choice. My husbands poached eggs were cooked to order and some of the best his had !!!!

The hotel has no where for you to pull in and drop people/ luggage off. Car park spaces very small . The movable shaving/makeup mirror was hanging loose and the mirror in it couldn't be tightened into place so had to stuff tissues in each side to stop it flipping round. The floor gets very wet from the shower the towel we put on the floor got soaked. The loo blocked easily. We found the heating very hard to control even with the instructions given , we felt quite cold at times .

Great staff. Efficient processing at reception. The room was well-appointed and laid out; bed was fine. Needed help to get the heating sorted. Extremely prompt, reassuring and informed - actually came up very swiftly and solved the problem. Great location, 1-minute walk to the main square - cafes, pubs, bars, restaurants all within walking distance. Didn't have the in-house breakfast (didn't want one), but what I saw looked pretty tempting with quite some variety on offer.

The bathroom and shower were fine. I had difficulty getting the water to a good flow and temperature for a bath, but got there eventually (to be fair, I find this a lot of places nowadays).

I really like the hotel staff. Each person was very professional and friendly. Starting from reception, breakfast service and waitress in the restaurant. I like to thank you mostly Lucia which sent me back the bracelet I left in the hotel room. All personel was like in a 5 star hotel. Location is good in Central of the Nottingham and near some local attractions for example Nottingham Castle. Hotel got a parking, room was large and comfortable. Bathroom clean

The only think was not very perfect it was a food in the restaurant. Dinner should be better quality for the price. Breakfast look and taste like reheated from pervious day. Probably they didn't got enough guest. However we were once in middium size 3 stars hotel when we were the only guests in Christmas and they did fresh breakfast for us with unbelievable choices. That mean number of guests doesn't matter in regards of quality. Improving food can make this place amazing 👏

Room was very nice and a good size. Bathroom was a little tried around the bath itself. The two chairs were stylish but not very comfortable. The location was very good for the Christmas Market and city centre shops. The bed was big and comfortable. We slept well. The breakfast was a bit disappointing but it’s difficult to say why, just wasn’t very tasty. The star of the stay was the lady concierge on the desk the evening we arrived who really went the extra mile. However, all the staff were really nice.The eco-friendly scheme re housekeeping is brilliant.

Breakfast could have been better. Hot milk for cereals, choice of different eggs and more hot options.
