The lovely gentleman on arrival was full of knowledge and very friendly. A delight to deal with. The mattresses on the beds are divine! Easily one of the most comfortable hotels beds I've ever slept on. It's a budget hotel and for the price we were very satisfied.

I'm not sure if it was a fellow guest or a neighbour to the property but we were kept awake until 2am and then woken at 6am by the sheer volume of the voice of 1 man who couldn't seem to stop talking, which did dampen our stay as I paid for late checkout for a lie in. But it won't stop us returning.

The accommodation was good value for money, it was cosy, clean and very comfortable. The staff were all extremely friendly and very welcoming. Our first meeting with the staff at reception made a really good impression and we felt relaxed immediately and ready to enjoy our mini break in Nottingham. There is also a very good bus service just outside the hotel directly into Nottingham centre or it is easy to walk into the centre too from the hotel. Car parking facilities at the hotel were very good too. We had a perfect stay at The Cotswold Hotel

The room was compact but had everything to suit my needs, the very busy road outside quietened down over night and enabled a decent nights sleep in the comfortable bed. Generally the room could do with a refurbishment but was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Travelling at alone to visit family and friends I felt very safe.

The only thing I didn't like was that there was no food available but there was a supermarket cafes and restaurant within walking distance.

Great value no frills, privately owned, welcoming friendly helpful staff. No restaurant, but try the real fresh breakfast roll made to order. Great easy to find location between M1 and City Centre with own parking extra or free parking in locality. Almost perfect location for 20min walk-able to City Centre, or short taxi ride. Makes visit to Nottingham so much easier. I mean who wants to drive or park overnight in Nottigham City Centre, getting into a doom loops and fined for being forced into bus lanes?

The room, though small, was very good value for money. It was clean and had everything we needed: a comfortable bed, a shower that was easy to operate, plenty of storage, a TV that worked, a window that opened and tea/coffee-making equipment. The hotel was just a few yards from a bus stop with a very regular service into the town centre. The hotel has a garden with seating and a small lounge. The staff were all very friendly and helpful; they couldn't have been nicer!

This is a small, family-run hotel on a main road, so do not expect luxury. A couple of small issues with our room did not prevent us from sleeping well and having a good stay. We would certainly stay there again!

The room was very small (it was a single), but it was exceptionally clean. As this was a cheap hotel, I had expected to be cold that night , but the heating was on and the room was lovely and warm.

The only fault was that the blinds at the window were broken, a member of staff rectified this, but I still felt that it was a bit too light, especially at the front of the building. As it was on a main road the roar of the buses was horrendous, luckily they didn't run all night! However, I wish that I'd brought a sleep mask and some ear plugs!

Friendly, helpful staff were quite happy for me to park and leave my car before checking in later, which let me explore the city by bus. The location was great for that, and there was a nice clear sign saying that every bus that stopped outside would go into the city centre. It was one a busy main road, but the room was nice and quiet overnight. Would be happy to stay again, next time I'm in Nottingham.

Location was handy on main road with plenty of amenities v close by..The staff were both v friendly an the most wecolming id say of all the hotels ive stayed..genuinley nice honest people..if im ever in nottingham il stay there again thats for sure..

Cant really think if anything of hand to be honest for the money uyou pay its v good valye so ive no issues at all...ok its not the ritz but it done us fine an dandy

This is my second stay at this hotel, the guy on the reception desk is extremely friendly, there’s parking right outside it the forecourt. The room was lovely and clean, and I always have the best nights sleep when I stay there, it’s so much better than other hotels & the room rate is very reasonable and competitive. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel & I will always book here when I’m in town seeing family Thank

Every three was great

Location is perfect, less than £5 for a taxi into town. The staff were lovely and friendly, as cheap as chips for a nights stay breakfast smelt amazing but unfortunately I was to hung over to try it. The room was clean and had tea/coffee supplied.

The mattress was uncomfortable but I Can’t really complain because you get what you pay for, if you want The Hilton comforts you pay Hilton prices, it is what it is
