What a great place to stay! The location is amazing, set on a farm - it is really relaxing and quiet. The private lounge and kitchen are amazingly sized, as well as excellently decorated, with true country spirit. The breakfast provided certainly surpassed my expectations - with a freshly made loaf of bread, homemade jams, fresh eggs, yoghurts, fresh raspberries and orange juice in the fridge. Really enjoyed my stay here and can't wait to come back again.

The only downside I imagine most will have is the fact that you have a shared staircase, which can feel a little less private than if you had your own completely private space. However, I didn't see the owners once whilst staying and certainly didn't notice the fact I was in an annex attached to a house. Due to the layout of the lounge and kitchen (that you do have completely to yourself separately) downstairs and the bedroom upstairs all being placed to the right of the shared staircase - I felt it was honestly laid out in a way you would rarely have to consider/feel this 'shared' element.

This is the best bed and breakfast accommodation we have stayed in this year and I don't say that lightly. It had everything you could possibly need to enjoy a relaxing weekend away. It is situated on the edge of Clumber Park near Worksop, Notts and is peaceful. I wondered with the recent weather, if it would be warm enough, but my fears were unwarranted it was really cosey. The owners were welcoming and friendly and on hand if you needed them and their dogs were lovely. We stayed here as we were at a wedding at a nearby venue and used Phoenix Taxi s to reach it. They too were fantastic, and punctual and do have a lady driver for those who may prefer one. Thanks.

I would be telling a lie if I gave an adverse comment. I suppose the approach road could be improved but we are all used to Pothole driving these days

Lovely clean spacious kitchen annexe full of character with excellent choice of breakfasts including homemade products bread , jams marmalade . Like to prepare my own breakfast so this style of B& B suited my husband & I perfectly . The lounge is very spacious too & relaxing . Great size tv in here & the lovely bedroom . Plenty of storage . Bed comfy & we had a great nights sleep.

The drive up to the property is uneven in places, & there are a few potholes to navigate , however , the location is beautiful & the B& B property is excellent .

Fresh bread, still warm from oven, waiting for us. Home made preserves. Owners went above and beyond for stocking supplies for breakfast. The kitchen was the best we have ever seen for a property, and is fully stocked. The farm is a short drive or walk to NT Clumber Park.

The is a true B&B. The owner shares the house, and could in theory use the shared hallway that links the bedroom and living areas, though we saw no one, and signs say they normally don’t use those passageways. It is located in a busy livery stable, so you are not going to have complete privacy. The location is clearly stated in the description.

Very spacious and quiet, very comfortable bed. Range of breakfast groceries provided was excellent and enabled us to enjoy poached eggs on toast fresh from the farm, as well as enjoy the typical continental breakfast ingredients. Livery stables and deep in the countryside on the edge of Clumber Park/Sherwood Forest.

Shower wasn’t powerful but that’s good in the current drought! Everything else fantastic.

The b&b is in lovely surrounds, by a national trust park. The kitchen area is large and fully equipped as is the lounge area if you needed a change of scene from your bedroom. Breakfast was self assembly as stated and I particularly enjoyed the home made bread. It was a very quiet and peaceful place to stay.

A little more choice/variety on the fruits/yoghurts would have been welcomed for breakfast, and semi skimmed rather than whole milk, but there are just personal preferences and am alerting for future guests, not complaining.

It was great having not just a good sized bedroom and en suite (with huge shower!), but also a comfortable private sitting room and fully equipped kitchen diner. With excellent food to have for breakfast. The hosts had thought of everything you could possibly need. I enjoyed the large screen TV with playback. Bed was comfortable, with the softest sheets I've ever experienced!

Difficult to think of anything. Maybe add a small hand towel in the kitchen.

While it was further out than anticipated, the property was worth the trip. Area was rural and quiet, except for the ducks who were beautiful but not too noisy. So comfortable, large private space, homemade bread and jam, fresh eggs, cereals for choosing. Alison was lovely and was so welcoming and willing to help if needed. Lovely stay, highly recommend.

A really lovely house in a gorgeous setting. Lots of little added touches which really showed the thought and care that went into the place. We were given lots of helpful information about how to access the property and etc. Spotlessly clean and comfortable throughout. Perfect location for our needs. Would really recommend!

We really enjoyed our overnight stay. Very clean & comfortable. Fresh eggs & newly baked bread laid out for our breakfast in our lovely well equipped kitchen with a great view of the garden. Very comfy bed & fab en-suite. After visiting friends for a long lunch we had a relaxing evening watching the Olympics. Would definitely come back, thank you
