The accommodation was fantastic the restaurant was a very lovely place. I stayed there for two nights with my two dogs and Chris and Ed went the extra mile. The staff were very friendly. Kate, Tash and Charlie and the lady that worked mornings had excellent customer service. The room I stayed in the tech was very high tech. The drinks were reasonably priced but the food even tho it was high quality and very tasty it was on the pricey side. could do with a little extra on the plates and keep it the same price. but all in all I had an amazing time and Thank you to Chris and Ed for everything you made me feel so welcome. I would definitely come again and stay in the suite room as it has its own outside area as mentioned by Chris so fantastic for dogs.. plus they have a dog main which is fantastic price.. I have had the dog food before in a different hotel and it's excellent. plus thank you for the dog treats and toy that you left in the room for us on arrival xx

The staff and premises were superb. Food and drink variety was great, and affordable. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. The ensuite bathroom was pristine and attractive.
There wasn't really anywhere you could hide from the piped music in the bar/restaurant as there were loudspeakers in practically every corner. Our hotel room window needed servicing and could not be fully closed, resulting in a draught that was hard to prevent. It also hampered sleeping well as we could hear road noise and customers all night. The toilet could have done with a brush, but on inquiring about it we were told they had been deemed unhygienic. The extractor fan wasn't running either. The sound insulation between hotel rooms was a bit of a problem, as we could hear upstairs creaking a lot.

We arrived mid afternoon on a very wet and windy day. After checking in and dropping bags in our room, we went straight to the bar and met friends. We sat there for the rest of the evening until it was time to go through for food, as we had a table booked. Food was lovely. It was good to have a mixture of the festive menu and general menu. Our room was comfortable an clean. It had everything we needed including a coffee machine and kettle. We also had breakfast in the morning, which again was lovely
The only things were, the shower is a bit slow, could be more powerful, but we appreciate that can be difficult. The other thing would be for breakfast to be served hotter. We felt some items had been sat, as they were cool in comparison to others.

The room was really lovely, I liked the decor and I was impressed that they were able to meet my request of a room with a bath considering I booked the trip quite last minute. It's a good location for country walks and I liked that they provided us with a booklet on walks we could take from the hotel. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, again, very lovely decor. Checkout at 11am allowed us to have a nice lie in before leaving.
I felt that the food in the restaurant was quite average and therefore a little overpriced. Some of the staff were very polite and welcoming, others were a little dismissive.

All the staff were helpful. They stored our bikes for us. We enjoyed the food, dinner and breakfast. Room was clean.
Room was quite small for the price. There were a couple of issues with the room, door handle was loose and there was a rusty shelf and mirror over the sink in an otherwise very newly refurbished bathroom. We have mentioned these to the staff, so hope they will be sorted for future visitors. Would have been good to have two chairs in the room for two people.

Great location and easy access. Staff were very smart, efficient and professional. Food was fine without being exceptional but was everything the menu promised it would be. Had a great experience here and can’t wait until our next visit. If anything in particular stands out, it is the warmth of the staff. They are genuinely the life force of Hartford Hall. Would highly recommend staying here. Tony.
Menu was fine but a little bit basic. But having said that, it delivered exactly what’s on the tin. Can’t really knock it.

Very comfortable and classy room. Good sized bed, lots of plug sockets, good tea/coffee offering with plenty of biscuits and free water. Free onsite parking Lovely decoration in pub area and nice quality breakfast. Breakfast was extra but reasonably priced given you lots of big/small options and generous serving hours
It is quite close to a busy road so you can hear the traffic from quite early on if you have the window open but I still had a good night sleep! Shame bar wasn’t open after 11pm for residents but understand the overhead that would bring.

Fabulous staff and service; food was great. We were given an upgrade to make it easier with our dogs; dog charges were very reasonable and doggy treats supplied.
Nothing really. If I wanted to be picky, a shaver point in the bathroom but I really couldn’t fault our stay.

Lovely place, great decor and very clean. For Easter they left crème eggs in the room which was a lovely surprise!
Only thing I’d change is the option for breakfast to be included in overall price even if prices went up. But breakfast is delicious at Hartford hall.
