The availability of a good bar and restaurant on site was really convenient. It is a well run hotel with friendly staff. It is clean, and my room felt spacious. The dawn chorus in the semi rural location was amazing. I didn't get the opportunity to explore the local walks on this visit.
It is a busy hotel in a popular location. I was aware of other guests moving around the corridors from about 6 am. The hotel is also on a flight path from about 6.30/7 am. I didn't realise how close Jodrell Bank observatory was until I had already made other plans.

Ease of check in. Acceptance of our dogs in the dog friendly room and the restaurant. Friendliness of staff. Food in the restaurant was lovely and a great selection of options. Fabulous and friendly service from the team. Room facilities more than adequate. Shower and bathroom roomy and shower powerful. Bed very comfortable. Nice linen. Room size great for 2 adults and our 3 medium sized dogs. Decor very nice and modern. Tea and coffee facilities well stocked. Adequate number of towels. We will return due to all of the above and location. Lots to do and see in the local area. Great walks. Lovely local areas to visit within 30 minutes. Parking more than adequate. Lots of out door seating area. Very relaxed atmosphere. The other guests were clearly enjoying their experience too. Thank you to the team.

The hotel is situated on a main road so can’t be a quiet location but I knew that when I booked and I needed to be in Holmes Chapel, which is a semi rural location and was. A large bill but expanding. On arrival the receptionist was brilliant and very helpful. He showed me to my room and explained how things worked etc. I ate in the restaurant, however the menu had a few missing items. Despite this I had a good steak well cooked. I asked for and got it blue and even warm in the middle, well done.
Not so much disliked but would have liked A few more items bring Available.

The location. We got married near by so it was handy for that. I stayed the night before along then with my new husband the second night. The food was lovely, we ate in the evening.
My room had a door joining (locked) to the room next to me. It was loud! Kept me awake the night before my wedding which wasn’t ideal. I didn’t ask the second day to move, which could have been done but due to wedding, the timings didn’t work. Staff were fab with this though. The water etc wasn’t replenished for the second night which meant we didn’t have water etc. this wasn’t great. The bed was very soft. Not a great sleep sadly.

Location was perfect for us, 2 minutes drive from family and close to the Tatton flower show. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast (£5 for residents) was delicious with plenty of choice and included a cooked dish from the menu - great value for money. The room (room 2) was perfectly adequate and had a nice bathroom with large dual head shower. It was also suitable for disabled access.
The room was painted in a very dark blue which made it quite dingy and meant we needed the lights on all the time. There was also noise during the night when people returned to their rooms because we were right next to the entrance in room 2.

Good, clean and nicely located hotel a few miles from the M6. The staff were efficient and friendly. We ate an evening meal in the restaurant which was very good, if not a little pricey (Malaysian chicken curry £21). The room was reasonably spacious and bed comfortable. The provision of bottled water, biscuits and crisps was a nice touch! We had room 21 on the first floor with a rural view. The only very small snag was intermittent water flow through the shower, which didn't really cause a problem. At £80 for the one night stay (we didn't take breakfast) it was excellent value for money.
Nothing much really. Nice place!

The original pub had a new purpose-built hotel built. The room was comfortable and well designed. I stayed in Room 2, which was designed for someone with mobility issues; the bathroom was a wet room with a doorless shower, tall toiet, handles on walls. The foor material was naturally non-slip, i didn't have any problems. The hotel was astoundingly clean, even the glass shelf in the bathroom. The room was set out with 2x single beds, which were good quality but a little too soft for my preference. Usual tea/coffee items on tray-draw under the desk. There was no step or floor hight differences from the car park, to reception, to the room, and the room was all one level, even into the shower. The room was on the ground floor. There was a car park, restaurant that served both evening meals and breakfast. The room had the reception between it and the restaurant, which was busy at night, but we didn't hear it. We paid extra for the breakfast, it was worth every penny; tea/coffee, continental plus one cooked dish.
There is no tray in the shower for shampoo/soap, one should be added below the showers (avoid the water pipes!). If the bathroom as been designed for a wheelchair user, the tray should be lower than the usual hight. The coat hook on the door was way too high for a wheelchair user, a second hook should be added lower down. Toilet didn't flush fully, there always seemed to be a piece of toliet paper in the bowl. The bottom of the inside of the bathroom door needs to be stained/varnished because some wood laminate has come off.

We stayed in room 24. The bathroom was massive, beautiful and comfortable. The bedroom is also an excellent size, and omg the bed was sublime!!! We both had the best night sleep we have ever had in a hotel. They had really thought about everything that you would need IE, hair dryer (with diffuser), heaters, fans tea and coffee machine. We didn't see a lift in the part of the hotel that we were in, we didn't need one but it is worth bearing in mind if you have heavy bags, disabilities ect. The restaurant is decorated beautifully and was very warm and cosy but we didn't eat there so couldn't comment. Overall we are extremely happy with our stay and would definitely stay again.
We went out for the evening and when we came back we didn't know how to get back in as we had to go through the restaurant to get to access our room, but the doors were locked. Luckily there was a lovely gentleman who was cleaning up that was able to let us in to access our room otherwise we would have had no clue. We probably should have asked too. Maybe this could be something that they could tell you at check in or put on the information sheets. This isn't a big deal at all but there was no spoon with the tea and coffee which made it a bit awkward making a brew but we made do with something else 😊.

The staff make this hotel, they went above and beyond to meet our needs. The room was nice, very clean and comfortable. Location was ideal for our needs and the WiFi actually works considering the location.
The food! It was a bit pants, nice enough but over priced with some strange chip options available. My only real issue is with Booking.com. They don’t make clear which rooms are the best in order, instead they operate by displaying discount rates. I should have checked the vendors website before booking as I would have chosen a better room for a lower price had I of known. But nothing wrong with the room we ended up in.

Welcoming. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was enjoyable with a good variety of options including gluten free. The hotel was well appointed, with character. The suite was a room and ensuite, with an extra large, comfortable bed. Continental breakfast included in the price. Cooked breakfast at an extra cost.
The signature double bed was quite small, and the signature twin wasn’t available, even though we had booked it.
