The rooms were very clean. The staff were very helpful. Excellent location, walking distance to centre and easy to park near the house. Lovely conservatory for breakfast, and I loved all the birds in the garden.

I had to ask to change rooms because I was originally given a ground floor room, and one of the windows didn't lock, and the repair person couldn't fix it until the next day. I was originally told I could stay in that room for one night and move rooms the next day. I explained I didn't feel safe, so I would need to find another hotel. Then they swapped my room for that night, too!

I booked this place for a work event, but also did a bit of sightseeing around Oxford. I was unsure what to expect, but the hotel’s room, service, breakfast, and location exceeded my expectations! I travel around the world and was slightly worried about the B&B. However this hotel showed that my concerns were not necessary. The beds are so comfy, room is clean and bathroom is updated. The hotel allows you to park on site for free even after check out, which is a massive bonus for Oxford. I need a birthday card at the last minute, and the hotel kindly offered me one without charge! I even get the selection of choices!! The service the hotel has provided is excellent! Will definitely return next time!

We had a great stay! The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, just a 20-minute walk from key attractions like the Museum of Natural History. The room was spacious, very clean, and well-maintained. We appreciated the fridge with drinks and snacks, a nice touch! The beds were comfortable, and the garden was beautiful and well-kept. Everything felt thoughtfully arranged and finished with care. Parking was also very convenient — we could park the car right in front of the hotel. Highly recommended!

One small suggestion: adding some soft background music in the breakfast area could make the mornings feel even more welcoming.

The room was absolutely beautiful and very spacious for the 4 of us. We loved that it opened to the backyard area and patio sitting space. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was also a good size. Everything about the room was lovely. The staff was very nice and the room we ate our breakfast in was such a treat. They also were very kind to allow us to store our luggage after we checked out and walked around the town. Property located on a quiet street, so that was also a bonus!

The toilet seat was a little broken and the shower drain was very slow. Otherwise, all was great.

Room was very tidy looking on arrival. Nice bright and well decorated room. Comfortable and warm. Nice breakfast with good selection of cereals. Bed comfortable. Good size TV with good image quality and sound. Hotel manager very courteous and helpful and made every effort where possible to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. Courteous hotel staff.

Would have liked carpet to be vacuumed and bathroom to be mopped every day. Top half of net curtains were visibly dusty, where dust had gathered over a period of time. Had to hold shower head in hand whilst showering as it was too heavy for shower riser and kept flopping forward directing the jet of water towards the back wall of the shower. Ceiling extractor in bathroom was not working.

Fabulous hotel. Clean, comfy, warm, friendly with parking. Booked for a girls reunion, we all shared a family room which was located on ground floor & had lovely French doors to a private seating area outside. It was too cold to use in March but was great to have a view of the sunny garden. Room was a good size with a little entrance lobby where the bathroom also was. 2 single beds & 1 double bed ideal for a family or those who don't mind sharing. Tea & coffee facilities topped up daily (or grab extra bits from the supplies in the reception area) and complimentary soft drinks & snacks in the fridge. The staff were super friendly & very helpful. 1 of our party got there earlier than planned & the room was ready so they allowed her to check in. Good breakfast, relaxed help yourself buffet style in the conservatory over looking the garden. Plenty of choice of hot (no bacon either day) & cold breakfast, we were definitely set up for the day. The location is on the north side of the city about a 30-minute walk from train station. Nearest pub (very good choice of ale) & eateries only a few streets away (8 mins). One of our best get together weekends the weather helped but the hotel was fantastic.

A charming building located on a quiet street, with parking included which is unusual in Oxford. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good location, about 20 minutes walk into the city centre (bus routes available). Breakfast was good with lots of continental options and some hot food. I also appreciated being able to help myself to additional tea/coffee supplies.

Hot breakfast options were left out buffet-style rather than being cooked to order so they weren't very hot by the end of breakfast, but this was a minor issue.

We have stayed here multiple times and really like the hotel. We have found it very clean, comfortable and quiet and it is extremely convenient for Oxford City Centre. The buses run regularly and it is a 24 minute walk at most.

The only criticism would be the coffee machine at breakfast which, whilst it would give great flexibility to the experienced user can be a challenge for the casual user and is often a source of discussion for the guests. Perhaps it could be set to default to the right size cup. The machines in the bedrooms are much easier to use.

A beautifully kept hotel, with quality fixtures and fittings, lovely helpful staff, good heating that's controllable in the room, windows that open if fresh air needed, really comfortable bed, quality curtains that keep the light out, good quality pillows and duvet, solid doors and walls so can't hear other rooms, my room had a two door layout between my room and the lobby for extra privacy and sound insulation which is a great touch. Breakfast room is lovely with a great selection. Books and games to borrow during your stay. They've thought of everything. Can't fault it.

The welcome, rooms, the cleanliness, the decorations, the tea, coffee, biscuits, milk and goodies offered in the fridge. The beds, duvets, choice of colours, the tapestries on the wall, the breakfast, the range of choice ( please can you add bacon also). The theme of each room with names of universities, how clever.
