This motel was simply superb for the money. The lady that checked me in was really lovely. She gave me a better room with no extra charges. The room was excellent, clean, tidy, with fresh towels and cosmetics. The bed provided was very comfortable and evereything was clean and tidy. I have no complaints at all for less than £50 per night. The location is out of the way, although very close to a busy main road, which was surprisingly loud at times. The motel site itself is excellent, with good parking facilities and surrounded by trees.

I really don't have any complaints. It was obvious that the Motel has been undergoing a degree of refurbishment in places. There is clearly a little way to go. But, overall, it was fine. I noted a number of poor reviews online, from my perspective most seemed unwarrented. Yes there is a caravan, ice cream van, and a couple of other vehicles in the car park - so what?!!?? There was stil ample secure parking, and it made no difference to my stay. If you want luxury, go elsewhere. If you want a nice comfortable stay at remarkably competitive prices, then the Hotel Rafiya is perfectly fine.

It's very similar to a US motel, the staff are very polite, it's a family-run hotel, during our stay, the hotel was being fully redecorated with no noise disturbance when at the hotel, there is no eatery on site, but there are plenty of good choices just a short drive away. I will definitely be returning.

My only point would be the amount of vehicles coming and going during the night, mainly taxi's waiting for their next call, maybe worth considering a room key accessible barrier at a future date to limit vehicles to staff and guests only.

Clean room, lovely bed and pillows/duvet!, freshly changed. Left alone and had no reason to make contact to managers, swift and peaceful 3 night stay, would recommend and deffo use again if in redditch area! American motel vibe! Tv channels were great and recently decorated. They have a big beautiful dog and every time I pulled in I could see him/her resting its big beauty of a head on the sofa looking out, so sweet, bless. Generally really good stay.

Slight opening between the door and carpet,letting in slight draft. Not fault of their own, but I stopped smoking start of jan so sensitive to it, but think whoever was behind my room was rooming in the toilet as I smelt it and made me feel sick! Closed the door and no worries. Can’t pick your customers. Overall though happy with the place.

We stayed on the bottom floor in room 9 for the first time, had a flatscreen on the wall which was beautiful. The mattress was a little solid but nothing major, the overall room was gorgeous. Bathroom facilities were lovely, hot water, shower gel and soap. Clean towels and a fast heating heater.

Not necessarily the property but i think it was a cleaner in the morning, i understand that checkout is at 10am but they came into the room in the morning telling us that its time to check out and leave? i was prepared to pay the overstaying fee but we were disheartened and left at 10:15. Neither me or my partner were decent, and i feel like being walked in on getting dressed in the morning was completely inappropriate, not even a knock… but this won’t stop us from coming back don’t worry, we love Hotel Rafiya!

Spacious rooms. Easy check in. Free parking . Booked late through work, fast and friendly check in. Rooms are a decent size with onsuite which had a bath and shower Bathroom looked to of been recently refurbished and was well stocked with towels and toiletries. This place is great value for money and with free parking, makes it ideal for workers like myself who stay out a lot . There was a restaurant on site but I don't know what thats like as didn't visit it on this occasion. Will now stay here again when working in this area.

Nice little rooms and couldn't really complain for the price, plenty of parking onsite and really close to local transport connections, the staff were great when checking in and were able to give us an early check in as rooms were available

The bed was made of a weird waterproof material which made for a uncomfortable first night, and the TV could have been bigger

I don’t understand all the negative reviews about this place which nearly put me off it. It was great and especially at that value.i was very surprised as i went in expecting the worst from all the reviews. All the basic things was there, and on request they supplied extra pillow for my knee which was fantastic. The room was big and reasonably modern and fresh looking.

The only negative is the floor was not mopped. Entered with clean feet and within minutes it was totally dirty.

Owner I spoke to on arrival was really polite and friendly. Great value for money. Location ideal for what I needed.

Bed got hot and sweaty due to waterproofing on mattress (completely expected in a hotel), a mattress protector under the sheet would make it a more comfortable sleep.

Is what it is for the price nothing amazing about it nothing terrible about it, I thought it was good value for money tbh, staff were useful when I needed.

Radiator took ages to heat up and there’s lit gap around door what let’s a cold draft in but other then that was ok

Location is great, quick check in, friendly staff, comfortable stay.

Shower over the bath didn’t have a shower screen/curtain (room 9) I used bath so wasn’t a problem for me (and didn’t raise it) but could create a major slipping issue if shower used.
