It’s a very quirky building with an unusual layout lovely garden although the staff was not there all the time Ewan was exceptional (sorry if I’ve spelt that wrong)

We didn’t like the breakfast hamper, sadly not much choice, thought there may be some croissants possibly cheese and ham etc It would’ve been lovely to sit out in the garden having a wine early evening, but the site is only staffed certain hours of the day ,but still a wonderful place

Absolutely beautiful property. No staff but had a lot of information provided to ensure I could gain access easily. Free WiFi. Room was cute and had everything I needed. Had a good nights stay and wish I had more time to explore the grounds.

Coffee machine in room didn’t work but wasn’t a deal breaker for me.

Rooms and setting is absolutely beautiful. Very clean and stylish but retains its period charm

I did know that there was no restaurant so I’m not complaining about that but there is a bar however it’s not open pr staffed which would have been nice to have somewhere away from my room to relax.

Clean. Good car park.

Impersonal. No staff to welcome guests due to the “keyless entry” check in. Breakfast was “in room” which means you get a basket of cereal and fruit and the milk and yoghurt are in the fridge in the landing. Enjoy in your room. Not my worst hotel experience but expensive for this one….. sorry.

We were there to attend a wedding. The room was spacious and has everything you needed. The staff were exceptional, service outstanding. Lisa is an absolute gem, nothing was too much for her, her positive can do attitude is truly outstanding

It was lovely, such character and fitting as a wedding venue

We returned to the Old Rectory after getting married here 30 years ago! We were met by Lisa, who made sure our stay was perfect and was kind enough to give us the same room. The hotel is perfectly clean and comfortable. Thank you, very much appreciated and would recommend xx

I would say that no breakfast option was a shame. it would be nice if we could have had an evening meal and more hotel facilities rather than just for ‘events’.

Absolutely lovely building with characterful rooms, perfectly furnished and comfortable beds, set in nice grounds. Good room facilities including decent tea, coffee, and real milk.

It was a bit cold. I would have liked a slightly better quality breakfast with less sugary items and more healthy options.

Lovely quirky room, very comfortable bed, great little bar we didn't expect. The staff were very friendly, prompt and a credit, made for a great stay.

We were there for a group meal, on the night it was a bit chaotic due to having 2 functions going on, hence we had a long wait for the food to arrive.

Super helpful staff, lovely building and very clean. The location is quiet and very restful. The room had a neat sofa and was really good size.

The bed was too hard, but the site manager is addressing that. I'm not sure I'd bother with the breakfast in future.
