the room was spacious, with a great bathroom. clean and comfortable. Food was great in the pub

not enough milk supplied for drinks. but not a problem if you go into the bar they are happy to supply more

The staff was friendly and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was OK.

When I arrived, the room was clean but rather cold. I would have liked the room to be warm upon my arrival. The staff obliged and turned the heating on. However, the next day there was no heating again in the evening, so I had to ask for it to be turned on. It didn't last long, though, and I was tired, so I didn't feel like going down to the reception to ask for more heating again. Another thing I didn't like was the position of the guest house close to the main road. There are no footpaths around the place, so I couldn't go for a walk to enjoy the countryside, after my breakfast, as all footpaths were closed. I would have had to call a taxi to get to a walking area, - quite inconvenient.

It's a lovely pub with rooms in the middle of nowhere, just looking tired. The staff and owner are great, friendly and welcoming. Food was really good, well priced and good portions. Bar drinks very cheap compared to other places we have stayed. Did not expect single use toiletries for the price of the room - would tell the owner to consider larger refill like other places in this price range

It just needs a tidy up outside, get rid of old broken plant pots and give the front a lick of paint.

If being picky, just needs a general clean up and lick of paint. Ideal for 2 guys staying for 1 night working in the local area. Very happy with our evening meal, drinks and pool table. Not in a main town so a little out of the way but has potential
