I have stayed here before, so no surprises on the friendliness and quality of accommodations. It feels more like a B&B stay (albeit without the breakfast), with both Tia and Dan as very friendly and approachable. It's always worth it to spend a little time out back down by the river, just letting good conversation and life flow by...

The exit out onto the road is a bit scary, especially for those of us not accustomed to driving on the left. The road can get very busy, and line of sight is difficult especially looking toward the right on the way out. Best is to get as far to the left as possible before exiting, or better yet get someone outside to serve as spotter before goingout.

Friendly welcome, convenient location, free parking available , clean and comfortable room, great shower, double glazed so had a good nights sleep despite being on main road. Would recommend.

Nothing really . It was great value for money and the lack of food service was not a problem for us. Plates and cutlery provided if you wish to bring food up to your room.

Everything. From arrival the host was fantastic (I'm sorry I can't remember your name, I met so many new faces this week), she showed me to my room, explained what was around the area, and was very knowledgeable. The hotel is very close to the park and ride that takes you in to Salisbury for only £3.50 adult return. I was informed that their restaurant and bar were currently closed and was offered the choice to purchase a breakfast bag, which I did and it was full of wonderful things, some of which I took with me. Although the hotel is right next to the main road, the noise wasn't unbearable and ear plugs were provided if necessary (luckily I'm hard of hearing so didn't need these). The bed was comfortable and everything was clean.

My only criticism, and it's not even that big of an issue for me, but the ceilings are very low because of the style of building so someone taller may find it a struggle (I am 5ft6 so I was fine), it's enough though for a stop gap.

Friendly welcome, spotlessly clean room which looked much brighter and updated vs the photos, powerful shower. It was warm during heatwave but a fan had been provided and the room was cool on arrival.

The front of the building could do with a bit of a spruce up (for first impressions!) but didn’t affect our stay once inside.

Our room was too beautiful! Thick lush carpets and the bed was firm and so so comfortable! It was fresh and beautiful, smelt like new! Our room had a double and two singles but not small they were family sized! Thick blankets and two pillows each! Loads of milk, they were so generous with coffee tea chocolate and milk with biscuits and the room we had was worth the money!

Nothing, I was a 10:10!! I’d have paid more for the space!

Modern room, recently refurbished. Really friendly and helpful host. Parking. Really close to city centre.

A bit of background noise (a pump or something like this). But not too bad. Shame that the pub is closed. No breakfast. But all this was clearly communicated upfront, so was as expected. The host gave us a list of local options within walking distance. Check the opening times for Sunday breakfast though. Everything was closed until 9:30 or 10

The host was very welcoming, and informed me about local places to get food, etc. She explained that the pub is being gradually updated before reopening. The room was perfect for my needs.

There was nothing I didn’t like. I dare say the accommodation will come into its own once the pub is open, but for now it’s a good place for a stop over, especially for Salisbury and its environs.

Absolutely perfect for us. The staff couldn't be more accommodating and helpful, the room was spotlessly clean and serviced with complimentary biscuits which was very nice. The location was perfect for us too, an easy walk to food etc, but also well placed for day trips to Bath, stonehenge and Salisbury.

The room is on a main road, so was a little noisy with traffic at night, however the complimentary earplugs were very thoughtful and made this a non-issue.

Our hosts, Tia and Dan went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. We had conversations every evening about what to see and what to do in the surrounding area. Dan in particular was like a verbal, informative extension of our bucket list for the area. We treasured his local knowledge. Thank you Dan. Thank you Tia for being the gracious host as well as the energetic, bubbly cheer leader. Mark and Linda Atwood Nazareth, pennsylvania

The hot water took longer than expected...no big deal really. Take your time getting used to the unique 200 year old home with the quirky slightly uneven floors. We loved it. ⁹
