This lovely little hotel was clean & comfy. The staff were exceptional especially Lauren - she's a gem. Hetties Bells (the Pub) does amazing burgers (sort of part of the hotel). The breakfast was outstanding and the palour is the most charming quirky place - my daughter and I loved it. It's central and within walking distance to the Cathedral and other attractions.

No parking BUT we dropped our cases at the pub hours before check-in, then parked at the long stay parking by Sainsburys. When we left, we left our cases at the Parlour and fetched them once we had pick up the car - not a big issue at all. So really nothing we didn't like.!

I think the room was quite good, clean, wide enough. I could even live there for long term if I would have a kitchen. They gave us 3 x 20£ vouchers for breakfast in their pub. There were quite amount of choices and these vouchers was totally enough for 2 people for 2 days. The employees were really nice and helpful. The inside of the pub was quite nice designed as well. Location of the hotel is extremely good (in terms of being close to train station and city centre). The view of the room is not good but this is sth we were not expecting at all. The room was silent enough I think, never heard anyone’s noice in other rooms. There was filter coffee in the room, which sth I have not seen before. Lighting, heating, showers etc were also quite good. Hotel is also close to the place where Stonehenge bus leaves, which is nice.

The location was great. Very good breakfast with a nice selection of quality food. The room was lovely and immaculate. There was some road work around but we were informed of the situation prior to our stay. The staff was nice and helpfull. The room was not very large but enough to be confortable and everything in the bathroom looked like brand new.

The reception is closed between 12 and 3pm, we had to be there in time to drop off our luggage otherwise we would have been stuck with them to walk around town. The steps to access the room is a little bit narrow. The carpet in the room would need a refresh.

The location and proximity to town center, train station, restaurant. The price was very reasonable. The decor was super cute. Comfortable bed, nice spacious bathroom. Included very generous breakfast vouchers. Waitstaff ensured we got everything we needed and provided great service. Super friendly and obliging owner. Allowed us to leave our luggage in pub after checkout so we didn't have to drag with us to Stonehenge.

Carpet in bedroom had stains but think on next round of refurbishment maybe replace carpet with luxury vinyl or faux wood.

It was comfortable and clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The goodies (milk & cookies, the tea selection and the great coffee cafetière) were a lovely touch.

It’s only a very small thing, the noise on the street leading up to the station in the morning rush hour did wake me up very early. But it is a brilliant location. The cups also… the handles are a shape that made them hard to grip, they slipped round easily and I ended up with my fingers getting a bit scorched on the bottom of the cup. I wasn’t injured, it was just uncomfortable.

Chosen for its location next to Salisbury station as a very early start …please note room can be noisy due to the trains but ear plugs are supplied and for light sleepers it could be an issue . Extremely comfortable and modern room with nice touches such as bottled water and cookies as well as a standard tea/ coffee tray . Bathroom spacious and light .

Nothing to complain about ..except mix up with continental breakfast (7am) which I had arranged prior to booking in and had to ask again about at check in …unfortunately mis communication again ..so had a mad dash in the morning to collect takeaway box ..but dealt with prompt service and apologies.

I love this little gem in Salisbury near the train station. I have stayed here before on a previous trip and remembered my perfect stay. The Caboose's décor is lovely upon entering the main lobby The staff member that helped me was fantastic! She was by herself and very busy, yet courteous. My room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and linens clean and soft. The bathroom had a great shower with all the amenities you need.

The first time I stayed at the Caboose they offered a full cooked, made to order breakfast. Apparently their chef quit and at the time of my stay, only offered a continental type breakfast. Although the continental type was good, I missed the full cooked breakfast. I would be great to bring back the original breakfast plan .

Lovely atmosphere, amazing decor our kind of thing. The staff were amazing very helpful and friendly. Our room was small but very comfortable, lovely well stocked welcome tray and really nice toiletries too, lovely shower. Amazing breakfast too. Only a stones throw from the shops and restaurants. We had a fantastic stay.

It's a shame the bar it's open in the hotel in the afternoon or evening so you can sit and chill there and chat that would be nice as we went with friends so would have just chilled in the bar as so nice in the bar area. Also from what I could see room sizes vary as we had a double room which wasn't the biggest but as I say clean and comfy, but our friends had a twin at the front of hotel and it was twice the size of ours if not more for the same money so I was ABIT shocked at that but still a lovely place to stay and we enjoyed our night away. Only down side is our room let down abit by a patch on the putter wall had no paint on it so made the room look a bit tatty on that wall which was a same as the rest was perfect.

Caboose is a characterful guest house a short walk from Salisbury Station. The breakfast room doubles as a public bar in the evenings, with decor that evokes the golden age of European rail a century ago. Our room was small but comfortable, with air conditioning and double bed. We enjoyed the continental breakfast which included a good range of choices. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Caboose is about 15 minutes walk from the city centre, cathedral and water meadows, with shops and restaurants on the doorstep.

If you are coming by car, be aware that Caboose doesn't have it's own parking. There's 30 minutes' parking outside the hotel, long-stay parking for £8 a day at the station 2 mins walk away (£8 a day on the RingGo app) or free parking if you don't mind a 10-15 minute walk.

Great location and friendly staff. The hotel also owns the pub which was about 20 yards around the corner, where breakfast is also served. The entrance to the railway station turnstiles was 3 minutes away on foot. It was a 5 to 10 minute walk into the city centre and similar to the Cathedral.

The breakfast got a bit muddled and I ended up ordering the wrong thing due to confusion but the food and beverages were fine and the staff were polite and friendly.
