We stayed at the cedar suite, a one bedroom apartment which was built to the highest specifications , which also included a veranda which looked out onto the gardens. The room had a king bed with a comfortable sized lounge and bathroom. The bi folding doors opened to allow you to sit and enjoy the garden from your room. The garden consists of mature trees ponds which flow into each other which attracts a large variety of birds which you don’t often see in the city. You could spend an afternoon or longer just enjoying the gardens. There’s lots of nearby quality pubs and eateries nearby, the long beams next door serve good food and a great pub to visit is the Royal Oak. Lots to do in the local area, but also a great place to just sip and relax. The biggest assets are the hosts , Alice and Andrew, and Alice’s delicious breakfasts. Would definitely recommend to friends and plan on returning next year.

After staying there this time last year when we got engaged, we chose the Thatched Eaves for our “minimoon” after eloping to Ringwood, as one does. Alice and Andrew really went out of their way to make our stay perfect, right down to becoming part of our special day by kindly agreeing to witness our wedding (not a service generally mentioned on Booking.com, but there you go!). Everything was just as great as our first stay and fully justified our decision to return. The place truly is a gem (it makes a very good postcard). Alice’s breakfasts were still top notch also. Thank you so much both of you, truly. We hope to be there this time next year too!

The location, the accessibility. Our own little private part of the property The hosts were lovely, the place was clean and spotless. Really high standard of finish in the property. Room service...came back to remade beds and felt like we could ask if we needed anything. Information left for us to read and plenty of great knowledge and places to visit. Loved the themed Alice in Wonderland. Breakfast was amazing! Felt really looked after and was such a nice place to stay.

Our stay at this wonderful property exceeded all our expectations! The room was simply superb – comfortable, cozy, and warm, with beautiful decorations that made it feel like a true home away from home. We absolutely fell in love with the pergola and the charming small waterfall, such a delightful touch. Alice and Andrew were incredible hosts, making us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Alice even booked us a table at a nearby pub, as we arrived late on Friday – just wow! The breakfasts though! Delicious, with locally sourced food, and even our picky toddler enjoyed them! We can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to return.

Perfect stay. I don’t write that lightly and it’s not an exaggeration. Andrew and Alice are fantastic hosts and a wonderful couple. They both know the area very well and their recommendations for food, routes and walks are spot on. The property itself is idyllic. Easy to get to as it’s on an A road but the garden (which is lovely) has several tall trees which give it a secluded feel. The area around it is gorgeous. The pub next door (the Old Beams) but one is lovely on the outside and the food is outstanding. Alice also very kindly rang ahead and let them know it was my partner’s birthday and they arranged a “Happy Birthday” dessert platter, which was incredibly kind. The breakfasts are equally fantastic. Local produce and cooked to perfection, with plenty of it. The coffee served at breakfast and in the room was likewise awesome. Will recommend to literally anyone who will listen and hope to stay again.

We are a family of 4 ( boys -12y and 2.6y) and we just came back from our short break .I'm so happy we found the place and would definitely visit again. We had a lovely time. The accommodation was spotless, with an amazing attention to details. The breakfast was delicious .Alice and Andy are lovely hosts. High class service in any way. The pub next door was a bonus too. I would highly recommend the place.

We had different breakfasts, and they were all wonderful. The location is perfect for a long weekend escape, near the coast and lovely towns. Our room was always impecable, with everything working and in great condition. Alice has great attention to detail and is always finding ways to make your stay even better.

The bed was too hard for my liking because I'm used to a softer one.

We had a lovely stay at the Thatched Eaves B&B, it is a magical place. Alice and Andrew are very thoughtful and friendly hosts, their attention to detail is amazing. The location is perfect, on the edge of the New Forest, close to forest walks and cycling, plus a village pub right next door. The Thatched Eves coach house is extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated. It was very well equipped and there is lovely outdoor seating area. It is the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of fresh tasty dishes to choose from. Thank you Alice and Andrew for a lovely stay.

We wanted to be away from everyone so loved the individual, private accommodation. We felt away from everyone. Everything you could possibly want has been included. Breakfast is delicious, I loved the local smoked trout. My husband loved the full English. Alice and Andrew are fabulous hosts.

Perfect weekend escape for couple. Super private, comfortable, very clean, 5 star experience stay in the middle of beautiful nature. Amazing breakfast served by incredible hosts. Great surprise was to experience Michelin level dinner experience in pub Old Beams, next door to Thatched Eaves. Very short drive distance to Burley, from where can explore New Forest.
