David was an excellent host and had good local knowledge. We had a fantastic dinner on the first night (the menu is really really good!) and David suggested a lovely walk for the following morning. Breakfasts were also top notch!

We didn't get the chance to mention it to the team but the water temperature gauge on the shower didn't seem to work - it was either extremely hot or very cold! No in between. But this was a minor blip in an other wise really nice stay.

David was amazing and so helpful. With elderly parents the help that was provided was exceptional, even to opening the pub so enabling us to bring the parents through the front door. The breakfast was beautiful and tasty and we were provided with what we requested. A lovely place to stay, fully recommended in all respects.

The bedrooms were lovely, beds really comfortable. Breakfast delicious.

Green bed linen a bit of an odd choice. A personal dislike but others may not mind.

This was such a cosy little place. Absolutely gorgeous. The prices of the small pub underneath are very good. We got to meet some of the locals in there who were so friendly. They invited us for a game of pool and bought us ale. What an awesome evening this was! The owner is also such a cool guy. Very helpful when we were looking for taxi. The breakfast was excellent too. Would stay there more often if I could.

Lovely cosy modern charming country pub .staff were friendly and could nt of ask for better service . Breakfast was very satisfying, variety of items left feeling full. Highly Recommended , will be booking here again

Exactly the type of Pub with Rooms i like to book staff and locals all friendly and when you are travelling alone it is always good to have people to speak to Located in a quiet little village with a few nice walks you can do nearby

Due to the age of the property the ceilings are a little low, not a huge issue for me at 5'9 but i think if you were over 6 foot you may struggle slightly this is no way a criticism of the property but worth knowing

Great location for Stonehenge, set in gorgeous small village, very picturesque, friendly staff, good pub grub food and good attention to gluten free diet requirements.

Not much, no car park at the pub but easy to park on the road outside.

The location was lovely, peaceful & quiet. The breakfast was excellent & the young man who served us was very helpful & attentive. Our room was very comfortable. Regrettably family illness prevented us from staying the 2 nights we should have stayed. We had a lovely meal at the sister pub The Bell.

Big comfy bed and simply appointed room with a large shower and bathroom. Lovely friendly host. We enjoyed both dinner and breaky in this rural setting. A picturesque road of thatched houses and friendly locals.
