Lovely old (400 years) pub in a beautiful and quiet Wiltshire village. Room was very comfortable in a modern style and probably refurbished in the past 2 or 3 years at most. Bathroom with shower was delightful. Breakfast was more than adequate with a comprehensive array of buffet items and a choice of cooked to order items from a menu. All beautifully prepared. There's a also a good choice of evening meals available. Staff all very friendly and helpful.

There's nothing really to complain about. If I was being picky I would say there's nowhere in the bedroom to put your clothes apart from some coathangers and the bedside tables are very small for those items you need in the night. But for 2 or 3 nights I can live with that!

We arrived to find a wonderful relaxed atmosphere, with friendly, helpful staff, even though it was a very busy Easter weekend. We stayed three nights, had breakfast every morning and ate at The Grosvenor on two nights. The food is traditional, with a twist, served in generous portions. The beer is very good too. A great deal of thought has been put into renovating, decorating and furnishing, in an eclectic manner, the building - this consideration continues to the way that the place is run. Room servicing (not service) is discrete but complete: real coffee for the French press and bottled water are replenished every day, but no one tries to organise your toothbrush. We hope to return!

I arrived late and the lady was very welcoming. I was on a work trip and needed a comfortable clean and warm place to sleep which was exactly what this was, although it is a lovely place in a very pretty village and I'd consider going back with my family. The room was huge, beds super comfortable and all felt lovely and clean. I enjoyed the complimentary waters and bathroom stuff. Breakfast was wonderful- fresh fruit and cereal and fresh croissants. My only comment is traffic from the main road is quite loud but they provided earplugs so it didn't stop me sleeping

We've just returned home from 2 nights at the Grosvenor. The place is lovely and we had a beautiful spacious room. Breakfast was superb with generous portions, and the staff members very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay, and enjoyed the Pizza from the hut in the courtyard!

Just one word of warning, if you're a wine drinker you may prefer to drink at the pub across the road. At the Grosvenor they don't actually serve a large wine, only medium, and they charge what would be the price of a large! Should you ask at the bar for a 'large wine' (250 ml) you'll be given a medium (175 ml) without anything being said!

Breakfast was excellent -- loved the open fires an the atmosphere in the bar and the restaurant -- really liked our room also lovely little village. -- Close top the A303 so really good access and makes a good stop from Essex travelling further down to the South coast.

Cant really fault the place -- it wasn't cheap but we did book an upgraded room as it was a special occasion - unfortunately sleep was interrupted but some very load snoring next door so the sound proofing not great but its an old building guess we were just a bit unlucky

Lovely old coaching house in a very pretty village. Excellent location for visiting both Stonehenge and Salisbury. Comfortable room away from main building. Excellent choices for breakfast. Very hearty English Breakfast. Recommend the smaller portion though as this was more than enough to keep you going through the day. Enjoyed the evening meal which we booked although did find the choice here a little more restrictive. All the same the battered haddock was delicious. Staff friendly. All in all a very pleasant couple of days stay.

Shower head could have been better and a non-slip mat in the bath would have been appreciated.

We checked in to the Grosvenor Arms as a last minute resort after the heating failed at our property. The staff were very welcoming, polite and helpful. We had a meal in the evening and breakfast in the morning and the food was second to none. Cleanliness was also brilliant. The whole ambience was perfect and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting value for money.

Good food in restaurant. Excellent breakfast. Room was OK. Water was hot and plentiful.

Room was cold when l arrived (8pm). Room 3. Tap was wobbly in hand basin. Shower head was far too aggressive and difficult to hang in bath/shower. Very easy to burn yourself. It needs a pressure reducer. Post code link was incorrect on booking site. Took me to Tisbury instead of Hindon.

Hindon is a lovely little village just off the A303. The pub is in the heart of the village and is really nice and cosy with log fires and a great selection of drinks. The food menu is excellent with a good choice on offer. I had the steak and ale pie which was really good. The staff were all friendly and really helpful. Our room was very comfortable and a very generous size I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place and look forward to visiting again.

The breakfast was very good plenty of choice .Had an evening meal the day we arrived joined by some friends and the food was excellent the staff were very pleasant and attentive.

We did not have milk in our room the second morning, and it was not explained clearly how to get into the hotel after hours .
