From the time We arrived we were made to feel at home by Debbie and Denyse along with all the staff. We had a lovely double room with on suite. The food was excellent and plenty of it the area was perfect for us visiting friends and other attractions. Debbie and Denyse were perfect hosts and we will be back at the Benett Arms. Nothing all was great

The location is so pretty and very peaceful. The pub is perfect as it gives a lovely, old traditional feel. The staff are so friendly and very professional and nothing is too much trouble. We booked the family room and been there twice and can't wait to book for the summer. Our room was spotless and very spacious and had everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable and a nice bathroom too. The breakfast was outstanding and service was excellent 👌 I can't say enough about it as we had such a lovely time and it was so relaxing. I highly recommend it.

The village was lovely and quiet with a lovely small shop and milk dispenser selling local milk close by. The room was really comfy and nicely decorated. The breakfast was very nice with local produce, we also ate at the pub in the evening which was decent pub food with friendly service. They don't have a kids menu as such but do keep chicken nuggets and fishfingers in or are happy to do a small portion of an adult meal so great choice. The staff were all really friendly throughout. I'm from the area originally so it was a great base for showing my daughter the sights from my childhood! Would definitely stay again if back in the area!

Maybe a little note in the room to point out the local shop and milk would be a nice touch, and make a bigger deal of local produce being used because it's a selling point for you!

We were 3 friends looking for a traditional English pub in a small village to stay at near to a few local golf courses to try. The Benett Arms in Semley did not disappoint. Great staff, location and a lovey pub with very comfortable rooms/ The food and drink was excellent with a lovely outdoor space to watch the locals (including a donkey) go by. Recommend the local fresh milkshake dispenser and farm shop. We will be back.

Nothing, although we didn't use it, the TV in the room was tiny.

Close to Longleat Staff extremely welcoming, foods great and the pub has a great atmosphere with lots of locals Beautiful location that's easy to find Rooms set to the back of the proberty

If I had to pick fault with anything it would be the showerhead and view out of the bedroom window onto a uncared for yard But these things wouldn't stop us from visiting again

Lovely village location. Very quiet at night. Super friendly staff. The pub has a great atmosphere. Don't expect 5 star rooms because this is a country pub BUT the rooms are really homely and comfortable and clean. The food was super, I understand that just about everything is made and cooked on the premises, it certainly tastes like it!

Nothing, this location delivers just what you would expect of a charming country pub.

The Benett Arms is clean, comfortable, friendly and in a scenic and tranquil location. The food is excellent (our gluten free needs were catered for). We enjoyed the cosy bar with a wood burner fire. Our dog also enjoyed her stay as there were plenty of new canine friends to meet.

Some of the steps are tricky for anyone with limited mobility.

Lovely location chosen as stayed before. 3 rooms just at the back of the pub. Pub is a lovely country one, seems quite vibrant and breakfast on offer, great choice and freshly cooked. Rooms are tidy and bed comfortable. Tea and coffee also available. Towels large and fluffy.

Although rooms are tidy as stated above, the shower head let the bathroom down. Very rusty, so we didn't use it. Otherwise, it would be 10 across the board.

Such a pretty room, and the hospitality tray was very welcome. SO quiet, which is what we wanted. The bed was very comfortable. We had the cooked breakfast each morning which was exceptional. The owners and their staff are so friendly and welcoming. We ate in the pub each night which was a lovely experience.

More than 1/2 a roll of toilet roll in the room would be nice The shower window overlooked the garden, the glass was frosted but a little blind might be a nice touch to improve modesty/privacy The venison pie, whilst tasty, was quite small and didn't have masses of filling
