The breakfast was very good lots of choices Good quality ingredients the bacon was very tasty The staff were amazing it was very busy but with most of the staff catering for a wedding offsite they still maintained a professional service to a high standard. The two young ladies deserved a medal doing all the cooking ,serving running the bar and clearing up and still serving with a smile 👏🏻👏🏻a great team !

The hotel is a bit dated and some areas need a bit of an update. Our room was clean and comfortable I didn’t like the wet room shower but as we chose to have that room due to mobility issues and found the stairs difficult so can’t complain

Good location, nice setting. Friendly helpful staff. Good sized light and well presented room. We were met in the car park by two large dogs, who showed us to the reception, which made us smile.

We found a couple of ants in the room, it was a ground floor one. The breakfast room was slightly confusing. It's obviously used for weddings, but it might have been nice to not be surrounded by bridal paraphernalia . The chairs were very wobbly, in fact one was actually broken. My elderly mother required a gluten free option and they toasted her bread separately for her, which was great, but the gluten free sausage had obviously been reheated in the microwave and was inedible.

Booked as we was taking grandson to see stonehendge, was not disappointed, Big carpark, Staff was amazingly friendly and nothing was too much trouble, Large room with plenty off space for us all, Two beautiful big dogs sleeping in reception, Snow and Yuki, So very pet friendly! Gardens was lovely and big, Snook a few photos together with all the wedding features, Bar drinks and food were reasonably priced, Breakfast was lovely (the scrambled eggs were delicious), Would we stay here again if we were in the area, in a heartbeat 💓 Yes! Staff also mentioned going to Avebury to see some similar stones that you can touch, went sightseeing, and on the trip home, we ended up only 9 miles away from Diddly Squat, so a few cases of beer purchased and very happy that we did that too as well as stonehendge, all in all a very happy weekend 😀

Absolutely nothing. We all slept great, had breakfast, and after a lovely chat again with the staff, we were on our way home. 😀

On arrival and check out staff very friendly and welcoming , when ordering food and serving breakfast. Attentive and helpful. Lovely garden and bar area. Room clean and served purpose of stay. Good night's sleep quiet and comfortable room. Good selection of breakfast items in form of buffet style, more than enough of everything. Staff gave advice on where to visit In the area.

Some of the decor was a bit dated and finish was poor. Water leaked from the shower as there was no seal on the glass door, spoke to the owner at check out and he was happy to know so it could be rectified.

Clean, spacious rooms, plentiful free parking, good breakfast. Perfect for a one night stay for business. Staff are very welcoming. The highlight HAS to be the two absolutely massive dogs at Reception. What's not to like, really, for the price?

The soap in the shower was a bit rubbish (next time, I'll bring my own shower gel). The description on the booking.com website isn't quite accurate, there really isn't a lounge area that you can use (for example, if you've checked out and need somewhere to set up to do a little/take a call before you leave). Neither of these are deal-breakers for me.

We stayed one night in a 3 person room and we loved the ambience and cheerful friendly nature of everyone. The 2 Hotel dogs are friendly & delightful! The room was simple but comfortable. There is a cosy bar/lounge area that looked great but we didn't have time for it unfortunately. Our room rate included brekky - so we enjoyed a made-to-order selection including hot English breakfast, Omelette, Eggs Benedict and more. There was also a variety of cereals, toast +spreads, waffles & maple syrup, yoghurt, juices, tea and very good coffee! The location is perfect for visiting Stonehenge.

There wasn't anything we didn't like

Lovely room, very clean and comfortable. We ate in the restaurant and had drinks in the lounge bar and the food was delicious and plentiful. The waitress/barmaid was absolutely wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. Our dog was warmly welcomed and was made a fuss of by everyone. We would certainly visit again soon.

Decaffeinated teabags would be a bonus. For a dog friendly hotel there didn’t seem to be anywhere to dispose of poo bags. These are just tiny niggles but wouldn’t stop us from returning often.

This hotel was great value and just off the A303 so really convenient for a stop over. We asked for a quiet room as we sleep with our windows open- and got exactly that- we couldn't hear the main road. All the staff were exceptionally welcoming, attentive and helpful. The breakfast was excellent- all local produce and cooked to order.

The garden furniture we sat on at the bottom of the garden area had definitely seen better days- a new set would make quite a difference to the garden area. We aren't complaining- it just seems a shame.

The comfortable bed and friendly staff made our stay very pleasant. The breakfast included was delicious and we also had dinner on our first night from the restaurant which was also delicious. The staff made a big fuss over my little girl, who loved saying hello and seeing the dogs.

Unfortunately in our room we had a TV that didn’t work initially (but when staff were informed it was fixed asap), the bathroom door was difficult to open/ close with it having to be lifted upwards as it was pushed to close or open.

The staff were great, the grounds were nice, the breakfast was delicious and the hotel dogs were lovely.

The floors needed some TLC in our room. There was a miscommunication/misunderstanding between myself - booking.com - the hotel, about the amount of beds needed. I thought it was a double room (2 beds) and asked if it was possible to get an extra bed (3 beds total) for myself, my wife, my 21yo daughter and my 8yo daughter. Somehow, the hotel was only aware of 3 of the 4 of us staying, and our room initially only had 2 beds (1 large and 1 twin). The staff were able to squeeze another twin mattress into the room, but there was hardly any space left after that. Somewhere, somehow, there was a breakdown in communication, but we got it sorted. The staff were excellent and very accommodating. They really tried their best to help us.
