The main entrance door is not ideal. Activating the code is temperamental and the door is extremely 'heavy' to open and temperamental to close securely. Also the door couldn't be held open whilst entering or leaving with luggage as the hook for holding it open is damaged. There are no instructions for operating the electric hob and we couldn't work out how to use it which was very frustrating. The bath has unusally high sides to it and it's not easy for older people such as ourselves to get in and out, and there are no grab rails which was very risky as the bottom of the bath was very slippery when taking a shower. We felt it was quite dangerous.

The apartment was lovely - bright, airy, plenty of space and very clean, it was relatively easy to find with local parking nearby and easy to access being right on the high-street. The host provided us with a travel cot which was really appreciated.

Whilst there is a kitchen in the property with glasses, mugs and plates etc. there were no tea bags or coffee, so come prepared if you are doing a long journey and arrive late like we did. The property is directly opposite a very popular pub which unfortunately had a live music night one of the evenings we were staying - not great when you're trying to get a toddler to sleep. This is no fault of the owners, just something to note if you're travelling with young children; maybe check their events calendar in advance.

Location was really good. I was travelling for work and was a bit worried about parking, but there were plenty of spaces in the nearby carparks that were free from 4:30pm to 8:30am. I didn't have to pay a thing. Also, there is a 'loading/unloading' bay opposite the front door that I didn't notice when I arrived late at night but could have used to unload my car. I had apartment 3, which had lovely views over the rooftops of the old town. Hopefully I will get to enjoy them more next time when the days are longer. Bed was very comfy and the shower powerful. Special mention goes to the well equipped kitchen. I had brought ready meals but I will be more adventurous next time as the kitchen had most things that I would need to cook from scratch. The heating was fully controllable. I was able to program it to come on in the mornings and evenings.

It could have been cosier. Just one pillow provided, and few homely touches.

We stayed 3 nights at Andover Apartments. These apartments are very well furnished. The apartment we were in was extremely comfortable, clean and with easy access of places we wanted to visit. We were on the first floor of a two floor building. The car park is a minute”s walk away with free parking 4 pm to 8.30 am and very reasonable price during parking hours. We would definitely book again if visiting the area. Corinne Goodman

There was nothing to dislike

Very clean modern apartment with all mod cons. Perfect for a family stay. Shopping center literally on the doorstep inside the Chantry. Easy drive to Stonehenge and Salisbury which was our main reason for choosing Andover. We didn't cook at all but if we needed to, the kitchen has all necessary equipment. The bathroom was clearly very new and great water pressure in the showers. Really handy to have a spare toilet in the laundry room. Despite being on the second floor, the rooms were cool and there was a nice breeze if windows were left open. The view of the church from the master bedroom was lovely. Parking a 4 minute walk away and free between 4pm and 8:30am at Black Swan yard. Indian restaurant Spice Route had fabulous takeaway at 15% discount relative to dine in if you picked it up yourself.

Not much really. The plates and cutlery could probably have done with an upgrade. We didn't mind at all, they just stood out at old given the rest of the property was so shiny and new. An extra bottle of hand wash in the spare toilet would have been useful. There is a pub nearby called the Angel and they had live music on Friday night until 11pm. We slept despite it but not much one can do. There was also a brawl on the street below, again on the Friday night which we could have done without. These things are no fault of the apartment but if you are a sensitive sleeper or have kids who are, avoid the weekend there.

The apartment was lovely, had everything I needed and close to where I was working. Convenient for the town centre and check in was really easy. I would stay here again.

It is a shame that there were lots of people in the pub garden opposite in the evening, had to have the windows open as it was warm but it was a bit noisy. Scaffolding up around the building was a bit inconvenient as I felt a bit unsafe with the windows open, although a fan was provided which helped. Lots of fairly steep stairs up to the apartment and had to park in a pay and display car park.

Absolutely beautiful apartment. Was made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. The apartments were cleaned thoroughly and are in prime location on high street. Joyce is a lovely lady who checkered in on us making sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed. Will definitely book to stay here again.

Excellent location and large, exceptionally clean apartment with everything needed for a few nights stay. Information sent prior to arrival and easy to enter the property.

it is a shame there is no where to park for free and pay and display is a short walk, also the stairs up to the top floor are steep!

The apartment was clean and comfortable, and a great position. All check in was smooth and the heating warmed me up in no time on a chilly night.

All was great, the only issue I had was with one of the window blinds which I got a quick response to.

Great location, really easy to follow instructions on getting access to the property. The apartment had everything we needed, only stayed for 3 nights but it’d be great for a week long stay too. Great water pressure in the shower and very clean all over.
