Nice food in evening great location, parking included plenty of room to eat really nice staff

Room 18 is noisy due to kitchen fans in the early morning. No one checked TV, so of curse the remote didn't work. The evening meal delivered the worst cappuccino I have ever been presented with. i should have demanded a refund

Not too far to walk from train station, in a good area, was pretty quiet at night, didn't hear anyone moving about.

As an old building the floor sloped in my room, but you got used too it. Only 1 pillow per person. And no sockets or USB points near the bed. For the size of the room the tv was a bit on the small side. Went for dinner in the pub with a friend, both ordered steak but were then told after 5 minutes or so they didn't have any steaks... think the menu on the app should be updated and showing sold out... but it was a reasonable price, didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. All in all I'd stay again.

Great location, excellent staff, great value for money, can't fault the food, easy check in and check out, comfy bed, for a pub it was reasonably quiet at night.. my daughter has ASD and struggles with social interaction and new places she felt happy straight away and is already planning a return trip

It's an old building and it has character so "didnt like" is a strong way to say it could do with some tlc, the shower screen didnt screen the water BUT we had lovely hot baths instead!!. Nothing was bad, just tired in places and will be one of our places to return to.

Friendly staff who were laid-back yet attentive. They went the extra mile to store my wetsuit when my friend dropped it off 2 days before. The breakfast was good apart from 2 things I've noted in the next section.

The veggie sausages were like cardboard and the mushroom tasted bad and was soaked in oil. You can get much nicer smaller mushrooms pretty cheaply, slice them and lightly fry them with a bit of garlic and they'll taste great. The Linda McCartney (and other) veggie sausages are decent -- and if price is an issue I'd rather have one of those than two of what was plated up. Otherwise the breakfast was good!

Beds were so comfortable and amazing. Great facilities in the room including an ironing board and hair dryer with a curly hair diffuser! Room was really spacious and well ventilated. Really nice to have the option of a fan/space heater too. Food was good and came quickly - amazing to have the option of room service too, this isn’t usually common in a budget hotel. Shower pressure was really good and bathroom was super clean too.

The lock on our door got a little stuck so we couldn’t open or shut the door properly. Lock was quite loose and needed fixing. However, once we reported it to reception they were super friendly and fixed it immediately! Bed was really comfortable and we did sleep well, but the curtains were a tiny bit too small for the window so let in lots of light in the morning - which did wake us up. Plug sockets next to the bed and both sides having a bed side table would also be really useful

Staff member was very friendly, made us feel welcome and explained everything perfectly! Bed was super comfortable (and huge) and no issues with facilities. We didn't get round to using the bar or food but it seemed to have a good atmosphere in passing. Oh and I can't not mention the stunning stained glass on the staircase!

The walls in the room needed a bit of a clean/refresh. The room we were in had a towel rack quite close to the toilet and I bumped my head everytime, partly my fault for not learning a lesson the first time. Overall perfectly fine stay for a very reasonable price!

Excellent location,nice cosy bar area,good selection of drinks.Handy for bus and train stations,pubs and restaurants a plenty. Big spacious rooms,warm and comfy beds.I especially liked the large bath,breakfast included which was excellent,tea coffee juice and help yourself to toast. Staff from cleaners to management very helpful and great service. I found the whole week I stayed exceptional and highly recommend booking if your looking for a hotel in Andover.

Needs decorating., curtains had black stains on them .. Bathroom needs attention toilet seat moving floor and skirting board were dirty when showering water leaks onto floor ..black mold on tiles ceiling height The window rattles . Couldn't really find alot on Tv It is a very old place so have to expect certain things

The bed was very comfortable and the receptionist was very helpful and friendly. The room was a great size. I would stay again in the future.

There are a lot of cobwebs within the room, and the lights and tops of wardrobe need a good dusting. The bathroom, although clean, could do with a new lick of paint on the ceilings as bits of mould coming through. The grouting around the bath tiles could use some going over as starting to look abit black. Other than that, it was a perfect stay.

Everything was friendly and simple. I am autistic and the only concern I had was the front door and how to use it at night (I have insomnia and enjoy fresh air when I can’t sleep). The staff were lovely and instead of just telling me. Showed me how the key worked with the front door (as every door is different) and it was amazing.

This is specific to our stay and me. I’m fairly sure not many others will have this problem. But we stayed in Room 28. The furthest walk to a room and I have a pretty unstable knee that loves to ache and mess with me
