From arriving the greeting and service was professional and friendly. The pub atmosphere was warm and inviting with traditional decor and open fires. We requested a change of room for health reasons and they went out of their way to accommodate us. The evening meal was fresh and tasty. Well cooked and presented...we would highly recommend eating there. The room was room 2 the family room. It was spacious, clean and beautiful. The beds were so comfortable and well stocked with pillows and throws. The radiator was on so it was warm and comfortable. It was well thought out with everything you needed ...tea.coffee and hot chocolate. Hair dryer and phone charger. A really nice touch was a small jar of jelly beans! Bathroom was clean and bright with powerful shower. Nice soaps shampoo and condition. Plenty of clean towels. On then a little rubber duck! In the morning a full English with cereals Juices yogurt and fruits. Altogether we cannot recommend enough the little gem of a find and will return. The dedication of all the staff who cared for us was very much appreciated. Well done all. 11/10. 🥰😁

The place itself was delightful, with a lovely garden. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food (dinner and breakfast) was delicious. The room was delightfully quirky and characterful with a nice view over the garden. Facilities were very good.

A couple of very minor issues (which we reported on checkout): in our room, easy chair back was unstable and actually came off, and the shower head angle was not adjustable - it seemed to be broken. Apart from those things, everything else was great.

Lovely pub in lovely village. Warm welcome. Delightful room next to garden, tastefully decorated with excellent shower. Well run pub with friendly staff.

Staff issues at breakfast left us feeling awkward, almost in the way. Staff seemed stressed, poor team work. I would happily stay here again but have breakfast elsewhere. Also, I'm only 5 foot 4 and even I had to duck inside the breakfast room. Yes it might be quaint but husband is 6 foot 4 and really struggled.

A charming inn, with a very traditional bar and eating area yet with modern rooms available in an annex. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was fantastic. I didn't eat dinner this time, but I have previously eaten here and it was excellent that time.

It's part of the character, so this isn't actually something that I don't like, but you need to be aware: there are very low ceilings on one side of the inn! Keep bent over or risk a sore head!

Stockbridge is a lovely little town. The Three Cups Inn was beautiful and quirky, staff very helpful and friendly, rooms very comfortable, clean and with nice additional touches - plenty of tea & coffee and even given fresh milk. I didn't manage to sample the complimentary Jelly Beans as I had filled up on a delicious bar meal and a couple of pints of traditional local ale!. All in all, it had a very welcoming and traditional feel of a good old English pub. Will definitely come back again when in the area, even if it means travelling out of the way.

Absolutely perfect location and our room was beautiful. Coms ahead of our stay were great and enabled us to book a dinner reservation. The garden area would have been lovely to enjoy but you can’t control the weather!

The fact you have to book a breakfast slot on check in, then we were told at 8am everyone has arrived at the same time so unless you order immediately your breakfast will be delayed. Service was a bit ‘Fawlty Towers’ Asking for some toast seemed to be a crime.

Friendly & helpful staff … superb historical building with great character … lovely breakfast with fabulous fried eggs, delicious sausages & bacons from local farming producers in Hampshire … beautiful & spacious garden with gorgeous clearly-looking stream in back of this hotel pub from River Test … it’s so wonderful to walk around attractive & historic places in lovely town as there are plenty of independent shops, cafes & restaurants … Stockbridge is the best place for dog-friendly hospitality so easy & relaxing without worry !

Big issue is leaking water from a tap in washing-basin … also I couldn’t shave my jaw because a plug wasn’t able to block water which was beginning to low quite loss amount of water that is needing to check out in service. However, shower is fantastic with lovely fresh water.

What a delight to stay in such a lovely traditional English, wonderfully comfortable place nestled in the heart of Hampshire. The alternative…Premier Inn up the road in Andover with the homogenous plastic blur that has become our plight when staying around the the Uk. Thank heavens there are places like this proper English hostelry still left. A friendly welcome, good food and small but extremely comfortable rooms make the place a joy. The classic country artwork on the walls traditional beer and very low beams (beware the tall) give this place has spades of character. I have come here for a business meeting nearby but would come back for a relaxing g break.

Very low ceilings in restaurant.

A very quirky old building with the downstairs rooms at varying heights including very low in part of the restaurant. A nice bar area with an attached large Orangerie, great for sitting in on a wet afternoon. Outside was a large vine covered patio then a lovely garden with a chalk stream running alongside with ducks. The pub is used by many locals (this appears to be the only 'true' pub which made it welcoming and bustling. Breakfast was excellent with fruit, juice, cereal and full cooked available. Dinner was equally nice especially the warm scotch egg. Location on the main road through town made it easy to get to the shops and also to access the dog walking areas South of the town. Family owed for 3 generations and very pleasant and helpful staff. Dog friendly, good carparking.

Personally we found the very high bed extremely soft.

Hosted a family gathering which went exceedingly well. Great location. Facilities in the room were excellent. Comfortable bed and nice shower and bathroom. Breakfast options very good. Spacious garden area was perfect.

Car parking was limited so had to find spaces on the busy street. Limited gluten free options for evening meal.
