The surroundings are gorgeous. Quit, spacious and just lovely! Fantastic hosts Laura, James and John (?☺️) and Coco!! Love that dog! Rooms are very spacious. Breakfast was great! Very friendly and got offered tea (and bisquits if wanted) every time we got back and sat outside. We had a fantastic time! Now back to normal with our own dogs
A bit of a small shower and beds are smaller than we Dutch people are used to. But that did not take away from our stay at all. Coco made up for that 😄 now

Located about 6 miles north of Winchester in a quiet location. Satnav made it easy to find. Charles is a friendly guy very willing to make sure we had everything we needed. Our room on the ground floor was very comfortable and the bathroom well appointed. Breakfast was exactly what we asked for, very well cooked, served in the airy main guest area of the b&b. Beautiful lawns to the rear, very close easy parking to the front.
Sadly, Laura wasn’t around the day we were there. We’re sorry we missed her

Location, if you like being off the beaten track and don't mind driving lanes to find your evening meal. Breakfasts, we had one cooked and one cereal based with fruit - both excellent.
Only stayed for one night so not a real problem for us, but noticed a lack of hanging space. I work in property maintenance, so being picky here, and it's a complaint common to a lot of places we stay - but general maintenance of letting rooms and a need for deep cleaning.

The location was beautiful. The hosts were fantastic, and the breakfast was lovely. Both hosts were so accommodating and Charles was full of fab stories and enthusiasm. It was a real home from home.
A door to separate our bedroom/bathroom area from the rest of the hall would have been preferred rather than a curtain although we were at the end of the hall so there was no issue with privacy, It would have felt more like a private suite for us.

Location is wonderful. Isolated and surrounded by fields. Large patio area where Laura served us tea and biscuits soon after arrival (watched two red kites soaring on the thermals over the garden) Room clean, with views over the garden. Lovely breakfast taken at the dining table. Didn't use Google maps, just the car's satnav, so no issues finding the place. If you want peace and quiet this is the place for you. Within a few miles of villages with pubs. The Coach and Horses at Sutton Scotney (mentioned in the room folder) wasn't serving food on a Tuesday evening but had a wood-fired pizza van in it's car park. The pizzas were very good, as was the Jail Ale served in the pub. Great location if you are attending a wedding at Clock Barn - around 15 mins away.
We cannot think of anything negative to write. If you want a lively, bustling place to stay surrounded by pubs and places to eat within walking distance this place won't suit you. We didn't want that. Maybe check the pigeon isn't still nesting in a bush on the patio........!!

The location is absolutely beautiful, with a garden filled with birds and flowers, and very quiet at night. The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel at home, with tea and coffee in the garden on arrival. We were given detailed and very helpful directions to get there, and there was a folder full of useful local information, including a hand-drawn map of a walk, though sadly we didn't get to explore much as we only stayed one night. The bath (N.B. private, not ensuite, but only just across the hall) was HUGE, and the bed very comfortable.
Not exactly a negative, as I understand it's likely aimed at avoiding food waste, which I wholeheartedly support. However, I did feel a little uncomfortable about having to ask for normal tea, coffee and milk for our room and didn't really want to bother our hosts for more for first thing in the morning. Having said that, the herbal teas provided were very nice, and tea at breakfast was plentiful!

Mulberry Barn is a beautiful charming period property eclipsed only by the warm welcome given by the hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they definitely went above and beyond. The Barn is very close to Micheldever and not far from Winchester, It is set deep in the countryside. amidst beautiful rolling countryside, peppered with delightful villages where thatched roofs are the norm

Room and facilities are clean and spacious. Breakfast was plentiful and good quality produce is used. Location is quite with plenty of walks and pubs within 10mins drive. Host are friendly and welcoming.
Breakfast time of 7am - 08:30 forces early wake up if you want it and therefore suits early risers. Not great if you prefer a lie in. A time 7am - 09:30 may be better preferred by some guests

Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We started with a chat over tea on the back patio. Once they knew we were birdwatchers, they then came and called us to let us know the Little Owl had made an appearance in their back yard. Room was big and very tastefully set up. Breakfast was delicious and very generous.
Being birdwatchers, we would have liked to explore the back yard early in the morning but all doors were locked and we could not get outside until our hosts got up. The stairs to go downstairs to the bathroom at night were a bit dark.

Laura was very friendly and helpful, but also very unintrusive. The cooked and continental breakfast was exceptional The view and setting outside was stunning Bedroom and bathroom clean, spacious and comfortable
It's very remote which makes transport difficult as a non-driver, but if you're in a car it's perfect, and the remoteness adds to the charm.
