The hotel is perfectly located for onward travel to Southampton . It surprises me that more cruise passengers do not use this place in preference of the expensive port side ones

We used the disabled room number 1 however the doorway is a difficult turn in a large wheelchair and the bathroom is not up to modern DDA requirements. In addition a bed with more floor space would be beneficial for those ( like ourselves) that have to transfer from chair to bed as the transfer aid has to fit under the bed. I had to lift the bed up and sit it on my shoes to enable this. Please research disabled needs when designing such rooms.

Beds were very comfy, good amenities. Staff friendly and helpful. They had clearly thought about our room set up travelling with a young family which was nice. Fine location for what we needed.

It was a bit run down and the bathroom felt dirty because it was quite old. The windows too were old and on the ground floor so there were a lot.of spiders and bugs in the room.

Staff were extremely helpful printing out a parking permit I needed. Free parking. Spacious room. Fan

Very tired bathroom cracked basin peeling lino toilet seat stained The only evening food available was macdonalds. This macdonalds was very poor. The worst I have ever been to. Dirty, poor attitude of staff, long wait, cold and missing food, over cooked food, AVOID

I really liked how large the room was everything was really clean even if the bathroom was a little outdated The room temperature was perfect which was great on a hot day outside The night was quiet so that was excellent

the bathroom could have done with an upgrade and unfortunately there was a power cut whilst I was in the shower in the morning

Room had good facilities and was clean, with very comfy beds. Nice location with plenty of grass around the motel, and a bin on the corner, so very suitable for my dogs. Staff very helpful and were happy to find space in a fridge for my chilled items and in the freezer for my freezer blocks.

Quite hard to find when we were coming up from Havant but easier when we came direct from Folkestone on the way back. No food on the premises and the service station Costa across the car park didn't sell proper cooked breakfasts so we had to make do with a bacon bap and a toastie for breakfast. Would be nice to have the option of breakfast at the motel, even if only a buffet style with croissants, ham, cheese, fruit, yogurts etc.

The location was good for us travelling to the ferry . I felt that it was expensive compared to other hotels based on the decor was very tired and no breakfast facilities. Not everyone want cornflakes in their room with no tables etc There was also a musty damp smell n the room and the heater was not working all the time. Paul on reception was brilliant.

Lovely room, dry clean, good bedding and towels. Located next to busy A34 on a service station but room very peaceful and no traffic noise. Food outlet on service station site. Reception was stocked with extras and receptionist was very good. Room was well appointed with hot drink making facilities and toiletries and TV and luggage rack. Decor, bed linen and towels were good quality. Lots of wild rabbits outside to view which was an added bonus. Would stay again.

Bathroom door had warped and would not close. Cover of the emergency pull cord in bathroom that covers the electrics had become detached at the ceiling and was exposed to steam from the shower. The PAT testing was out of date on all on the portable electrical appliances in the room. Last inspected June 2021, marked for 12 months inspection next due June 2022. Date of our stay was 31 07 2023. One of the three pin plug sockets used by TV was damaged. The toilet was leaking from the water inlet and caused the bathroom floor to be covered in water. Toilet leak was reported to the cleaner in departure as repair was urgent if the room was to be relet and also to explain why wet towels were covering bathroom floor. She politely listened but did not seem surprised.

As ever, the staff are friendly, warm and helpful. Lots of car parking and green space for the dogs (I'd recommend a lead as the hotel has a nature garden with wild Rabbits.) The bed was comfortable. Tea and coffee provided, the desk has a mini shop and the service station is well stocked.

Good location, good size of room with space to hang clothes. Iron and ironing board on request. Shower was hot, though not the best pressure. Everything was clean and a decent standard for the price. Dog poo bags and drinking bowls were always available, the staff loved giving my dog a treat or two and they were always happy to help.

Location is excellent. Although near main road it was extremely quiet. Check in was very good . Staff as usual very helpful .

Fixtures and fittings extremely well used and in need of a total renovation. The bathroom definitely needs a complete overhaul. Have stayed here many times over the years at different prices per room . Definitely only warrants the lower price range .
