Finding the hotel was straightforward with the satnav, and upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by a friendly receptionist. (All other staff were just as friendly and helpful.) There was plenty of parking available on-site, so we didn’t have to worry about finding a spot, even if we arrived late at night. My wife and I stayed on the first floor of the annexe, and it was pleasantly quiet throughout our three-night stay, aside from the occasional banging of corridor doors as other guests let them close rather than shutting them gently. Our room was clean and spacious enough for our needs, with comfortable beds. The only minor issue we encountered was the shelf above the sink, which was positioned so low that it made it difficult to get close enough to wash our faces or brush our teeth. However, even though we were in one of the furthest rooms from reception, the Wi-Fi connection was excellent. We also appreciated the complimentary bottles of water during the hot weather—it was a thoughtful touch! The town centre of Andover is just a few minutes' walk away, making the location very convenient. Plus, there are several public footpaths nearby if you want to escape for a bit. Would we stay here again? Absolutely! We have family living further along the A303, so if we can’t find a local hotel closer to them, then we would definitely choose to stay here again.

Generally all went well, and excellent. Other than the bacon, see below, the buffet breakfast exceeded expectations. The room appears to be newly created and the public areas are all newly decorated The tv is an excellent size for a single room.

The Bar wasn’t open at 8.30pm. The Single bed mattress was soft and uncomfortable (I am used to medium firm). The duvet was very thin with no additional cover as it was a chilly night; No instructions provided to operate the heating / vent unit. Although free presumably as a promotion, the streaky bacon was mainly fat and completely unacceptable. The hotel is well hidden from view. An access map on the website would help

Room was well appointed, clean and the air conditioning was a godsend. Hotel is quiet and peaceful. Its somehow in the town but up a long street with a lot of trees and foliage so has a private and countryside feel. I didn't have breakfast booked so cant speak to that. Would return for short break.

Nothing especially but would be nice if the bar was open, be nice to get a drink or a cheese roll. The hotel is not far from town so you can pick something up fairly easily though, just depends how late you are returning.

Overall it was good.

The breakfast wasn't up to much. Was OK for cold cereal and cold food. The hot food was poor. The bacon was streaky and warm the boiled eggs were still in shells on a plate the beans were warm there were no sausage etc. The toast machine under cooked the bread and when put through again came out burnt. If you wanted muffin or scone for breakfast great but £10 a head seemed a little excessive for what was on offer.

Stayed many times pre Covid and pre asylum , was a lovely friendly hotel , but very tired and scruffy First return , what a difference New doors, carpets , bathrooms , decor light and bright , smells wonderful . Building looks great and is a work in progress Still a quiet place , set in the woods . Will definatley be back soon

The venue is in a very nice quiet location, surrounded by lovely trees, greenery which is a great plus for those who wish piece and quiet. Very comfortable and big king size bed.

The breakfast selection could be improved. The pastries seemed to be bought in a local supermarket, croissants didn't seem to be freshly baked either. Also missed just regular still water on the table.

Fantastic value for a quiet, clean and comfortable stay. Lovely leafy location but very convenient for the town centre. Very friendly, helpful staff. We had a minor issue with the door handle to our room and it was fixed immediately. Can't fault the Best Western, they did a great job.

They only offer a continental breakfast, but for the price of the room (I paid one third of the price of the Premier Inn and Travelodge for two rooms for one night) I really can't complain!

Staff so friendly & helpful. Had a lovely family feel to it. Plenty of space & lots of parking spots. We were in a suite, room 101, on the ground floor. Lovely large room. New carpet & been painted.

Not a real moan but I hate wasting water, it took a long time for the water in the shower to run hot.

Great staff. Efficient communications. Helpful. Nice quiet room. Very comfortable and clean. Breakfast and coffee was good.

Breakfast was OK. The cold meats and cheese were great. Fresh bread rolls would have been nice option as well as toast. Lots of choice though. Scones and clotted cream for breakfast? Not for me, but nice idea.

Breakfast, size of the hotel and stayed in Best Western hotels before, the breakfast was very poor. It should have freshly cooked hot food and not items which have been sitting for hours. No tea or coffee brought to the table, these little things matter for the price paid.
