The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was small but clean. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. All staff were really kind and welcoming. The location was perfect for a peaceful getaway and the spa was excellent.

The bathroom was rather small, the shower was hidden behind the door as opened. But as we used the spa on both days of our one night stay it was not a problem really.

Beautiful surroundings and very comfortable room. Spa facilities are lovely as well. Plenty of parking. Free mini bar was a bonus as was the coffee in the room as well. Excellent sized tv! Breakfast had a large range of things on offer and lots of seating.

Disappointed with the dust in bedroom (on the shelves in the room and bathroom) Cobwebs in the bathroom as well. The corridors were dusty along the skirting boards. Hotel advertises room service but this was not the case. We had to order from the restaurant and collect it ourselves. We were hoping to have a guest come and enjoy the spa with us once we had checked in, however the Spa didnt return my friends call and I got an email the afternoon we checked out with rates for our guest.

The grounds were lovely for spending time outside, the dog enjoyed this most. The staff were very friendly and helpful and really went that little bit extra to be helpful Breakfast had plenty of choice which was lovely but the cooked breakfast was all overcooked. The hotel ticked a lot of boxes for me as a single parent travelling with an Autistic child - it was quiet, we could avoid the restaurants, the pool was quiet, lots of outdoor space and we could bring the dog along. I just wish we could afford to do it more often.

Room service menu. Pool times for children during the holidays No dressing gowns to transition from room to pool/pool to room. We ended up running bear foot wrapped in wet towels. Not ideal.

The gym and pool are well equipped and clean. Nice variation of menu at both dinner and breakfast. The rooms were spacious and clean.

I was a bit surprised where my room was as I was told it would be near reception but it wasn’t. It was quite a hike although I received help with my cases on arrival. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the hotel was clean with comfortable bed. .

There was no real map of the hotel so it was not easy to find places first night and I never did get to the spa as I couldn’t see how to and being tired with limited mobility I didn’t want to go too far. I think I was probably quite close - a map would have helped. There was also no information in the room about room service. I would have appreciated that the second night having been out all day and very tired. I really couldn’t face going to the restaurant or bar but would have used room service if it had been available and identifiable.

Attractive well kept grounds. We had extremely comfortable beds & spacious rooms at the end of the corridor, and this ensured a peaceful night's sleep. The pool was gorgeous and the spa facilities were very good, but we went there in the evening when it was probably much quieter. The food in the restaurant for our evening meal was delicious and expertly prepared and presented. Well dine to their chef or chefs. There was a lovely sitting out area with comfortable tables and chairs near the bar area. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Plenty of different car parking sites for guests. The hotel is dog friendly so we could bring our dogs on our weekend break.

There was nothing I disliked about the property.

Well designed lobby, good bar and restaurant. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating by the bar, and good to have a separate restaurant (didn’t use it though). Comfy bed and staff seemed nice, although didn’t need much interaction as check in was very easy. Good pool, sauna and steam room (not the biggest if it’s busy though). About a 15 min drive away to Winchester train station. Nothing much around the hotel so a nice secluded feel to it. Good check in and check our times. Overall a very nice hotel, only stayed a standard room at £105 for 1 night on a bank holiday Monday (cancelable).

General furnishings in the room could do with a refurb, cabinets looked a bit worn, and fridge was old. Prices in the bar for drinks were a bit expensive. Could hear people in next room and corridors at times. Could do with a vending machine or something for bottles of drinks/snacks, couldn’t find one.

Nice hotel and location. Beautiful grounds, comfortable rooms, comfortable bed.

We had a 2 year old child with us who we wanted to take for a swim in the pool. But children are only allowed in between 8am and 10am, exactly the time that breakfast is served. So we had to cut short with breakfast or swim time. And then at 10am we all had the leave the pool for a women only aqua aerobics session. So not impressed with that part. Also, considering that you are some distance from any local facilities the food and drinks prices are very high. I also think that the junior bar staff were left unattended and didn’t know what or seemingly where certain drinks were and it took me to suggest that the check their till to even know if it was available. The net result is that they could not serve me what I wanted. Would I return? I’m not sure I would.

Free parking. At last, a hotel who puts tv opposite the bed! Lovely size room with a chair and chiller which was handy. Usual tea etc. Shame it was a shower over bath but had rail and mat. Nice heated radiator to dry swimsuit. Not a slow closing toilet lid so that made me jump! Liked that hairdryer wasn’t tied down and didn’t have to keep buttons pressed while using. Had a lovely birthday surprise, very thoughtful. The spa area was very nice and easy to use although changing room was quite small but fantastic that it’s included in price. The breakfast was good and had all the usual items. Staff were very quick to clear but maybe a little bit too much at times. Had just finished cereal and husband and I had gone to get cooked when came back to find our table had been cleared completely! Had to redo it. The coffee machines were playing up but just meant a bit of a wait and the orange juice was insipid and more like squash.

It is like a warren and the signs could just do with having the restaurant on them as well as reception as did get a little confused. Once you get the hang of it, it’s ok. I was surprised to see no hand sanitiser. Especially at the restaurant when serving a buffet breakfast. As a vulnerable person, I would like the option to protect myself even if others choose not to use it. I don’t think it would take much to have some at the restaurant entrance.

I stayed for one night, had a very comfortable and spacious room & bathroom. It was very warm but I felt uncomfortable leaving open the window - ground floor. I think this is something that should be addressed. I ate in the bar that night. The food was fine, as was the glass of wine I had. Breakfast the next morning was the usual buffet fare, mixed quality, but I was unable to try many items. Breakfast service ended at 9.30, but at 8.50 some food had finished & wasn't replenished. I had no time to use the pool, gym or spa so can't comment on them, but they seemed popular. The public areas were very clean and well decorated. Every member of staff I met was very pleasant and helpful
