The apartment is in the perfect location, close to everything you might need while still offering peace and quiet. It is beautifully maintained, very comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. What truly makes the experience outstanding, however, is the host. Communication was always quick, clear, and friendly, and she consistently went out of her way to ensure that every detail of the stay was perfect. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and stress-free. I could not have asked for a better experience and would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful stay.

The Sky Penthouse is truly the place to stay in Winchester. It's ideally located—just a short walk to the High Street, yet far enough from the crowds to enjoy peace, privacy, and quiet. The apartment is part of a property that features a beautiful communal English garden, which is simply spectacular. The penthouse has everything you could possibly need. It genuinely feels like a home away from home. The owner is kind, friendly, and sincere, which makes the entire experience even more special. This place is filled with love, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Winchester.

Julia, our hostess, was lovely and friendly. She said if we needed anything, just let her know. The Sky Penthouse is a spacious apartment with king size beds and all the facilities needed for an enjoyable holiday. Location is excellent and close to the town centre of Winchester near pubs and restaurants and the Train station. The apartment had plenty of hangers, chest of drawers, towels, luxury toiletries etc. Julia communicated with us well in advance about fine restaurants and tours to let us know what was available in Winchester. There is a lift in the building so it was no effort taking our baggage upstairs to the apartment. We would definitely stay at Julia’s apartment when we are in Winchester.

Outstanding 10 star experience! Our family of three had an unforgettable stay at this centrally located apartment in Winchester. The spacious, luxurious rooms were perfect for us, and the lovely lounge and dining room added to the comfort. Recently renovated, the apartment offered heavenly views of the old town. We enjoyed being close to fantastic pubs and restaurants, and the well-equipped kitchen made meal preparation easy and the luxurious bathrooms fit for a king and queen. The location was superb, with key attractions in the old town within walking distance. Communication from our host, Julia, was excellent, providing the highest levels of attention and information. The private on-site parking was a great convenience. The fresh flowers and bottle of prosecco were lovely touches that rounded off an amazing stay. Great value for money and highly recommended!

The apartment was spotless and very well decorated. It had an excellent, well-stocked kitchen. There was tea, instant coffee, milk, and even a bottle of prosecco in the fridge. She had local brochures and magazines, a map of the city, umbrellas, and binoculars for us. She also sent videos of herself walking through the entrance process and the features of the apartment. The beds were downright luxurious. Can't think of one more thing she could have done.

Julia was the perfect host, even though we never met! So helpful in the run upto the stay, advice on places to eat, shops, places of interest etc. She sent videos on everything we needed to know about the penthouse, from accessing the key box, to the parking and everything in-between. Super close to the shops and restaurants. A very handy lift if you don't want to take the stairs. Lovely and spacious penthouse with everything we needed, even a beautiful Christmas tree! We will be back!

This apartment is fabulous in every aspect. It is centrally located, just a ten minute walk from the train station and five minutes from the high street. Although we travelled by train it has a dedicated parking space. Julia the host is keen to make sure you get the most out of your visit to Winchester and happy to assist or just leave you to get on. The apartment is furnished with quality goods to a high standard and we felt very comfortable staying there. I highly recommend it.

Location was fantastic, appartment was absolutely perfect. Really top 'spec' and Julia, the host, is a brilliant communicator, everything explained fully, with videos, before we arrived. I travelled by train from Kent, via Waterloo, and the train service between London and Winchester is exceptional. The appartment is a short walk from the station if you don't get lost (I did!) but I would recommend getting an Uber as it is quite hilly and dragging cases is not so easy. If you travel by car, all is fine. The kitchen is fitted with the highest quality appliances and every tool, saucepan and kitchen accessory, you could wish for is there. I usually travel with items I expect to be missing (and needed) but this time there were none. All crockery, cutlery and glasses are top quality and the beds are really comfortable and the towels supersoft. We loved the views from the windows and being in a location so close to the city centre; especially as the area is really quiet and peaceful. I cannot fault this appartment or our stay at all and Julia left so many treats for us we felt very spoiled. We had the best time, thank you!

We spent 5 nights at the Skypenthouse in November 2023. From beginning to end we were delighted with the many features and amenities. The unit is in a townhouse type building in a lovely quiet neighborhood 5 minutes’ walk from all the attractions of town – the High Street, Cathedral, many pubs and lovely shops and other places of interest. The building, which appears to have 15 or fewer units, is secured by outer doors as well as the unit door, and the host has thoughtfully provided color-coded keys so you can easily figure out which is for the back door, front door, and unit door. Getting in is seamless as you are provided detailed instructions. This unit is on the top floor (floor 3, which is the 4th floor to Americans) with fabulous views in 2 directions, east and west. There is a small elevator, as well as nice, carpeted stairs if you prefer that. Please note that to enter the building, from either front or back, you must ascend some stairs, maybe 7 or 8 out front, and a few more if you go in the back. This rental wouldn’t work for those who cannot manage stairs. Inside the unit are 2 comfortable bedrooms with nice linens. The bathroom is large and has a convenient walk-in shower. Small toiletries and soaps are provided, along with plenty of towels. The kitchen is well stocked with every appliance you could need – coffee maker, microwave, stovetop, fridge and freezer. There are pans, plates, cutlery, all sorts of mugs and glassware. Our host also provided a bottle of sparkling wine as well as candy and snacks, and fresh flowers. The living room is comfortable with a large TV and 2 sofas with many cushions. In some rentals you struggle for a comfortable place to relax, but here you are in good shape. There is also a dining room with chairs. Good lighting is provided with lamps and ceiling fixtures. Wi-Fi seems to work fine. There are scissors, foils, plastic wrap, paper towels, coasters, many hooks to hang up your clothing, a warming rack,

The location of the property suited our needs perfectly. A very short stroll into town with simple access in and out of town. Our host Julia was incredibly attentive with attention to detail was second to none. The apartment was spotless, comfortable and was a joy to stay in.
