First impression was the Hotel is impersonal, however, the online check in and key code access works very well. In the morning, sorry I didn't get her name, met us with a smile, which is a great start to the day, you would be surprised at how many times you get greeted with a frown, as if everything I'd too much hassle, on the contrary, we felt that nothing was to much trouble, all queries were met with a smile and assistance. The breakfast was very nice, we are used to a full English, but found your small cooked egg and bacon on toast a very good alternative. I did hit my head on the way down to the "wine cellar" on the first ceiling while reading the mind your head sign 😉 All in all a very good stay, thank you.

room was small but very well equipped tea and coffee making facilities was unexpected. En suite was small but spotless shower was a challenge i would recommend avoiding the busiest of times as we struggled for a decent pressure. TV wasnt working when we booked in late evening and reception was closed, but this was rectified the next day and by way of apology a bottle of fizz was left for us. Breakfast was good and amazingly for a small hotel they actually had gluten free bread something the larger chains seem to struggle with would recommend the hotel its in a great location great staff, lovely restaurants and bars close by we used it as a base to visit family and it was perfect for us had 2 really good nights sleep maybe not ideal for a longer stay but we would certainly stay there again.

Convenient location. Spacious room. Breakfast was good and domestic staff very helpful. Our ground floor room at the front was very convenient and accessible. I would not have liked an upstairs room as carrying luggage up would have been difficult.

There were no staff on site to check us in. We also ended up letting other people in and giving information to them as the hotel staff were only there part time. Public parking behind hotel was not totally satisfactory as much of it was restricted to medical centre patients.

Directions to enter hotel and get key were spit on. Cute property. Comfy bed. No interaction with staff needed. Easy drive to Stonehenge.

Do not park out front during the day!! We did to go in for showers and to get bags. Got a parking ticket. Went to Salisbury to pay our £25 ticket. It is our fault. However, the signage could be better on the street and in the hotel.

Very nicely decorated room, it was quiet despite facing onto the high street. Good to have a self-service style breakfast with fresh locally sourced milk and I appreciated the efforts also for environmentally friendly products.

I would suggest installing USB ports for international travellers. It also felt rather pricey for a small town.

After 16 hours and near 600 miles in the car, I was met by the bubbly owner, Keith who was at pains to make me comfortable, pointed out the decent eateries for dinner locally and generally had a good chat for 10 minutes or so. We have some mutual interests which made for a good giggle. Room was superb, well needed shower more so. Popped out for a couple of pints and dinner then collapsed into the large, comfy bed. At ( exceptionally good) breakfast was met by the true boss, Tracey, who again was superbly friendly and helpful. All for WAY below the cost quoted by any of the localish Premier Inns. Dont miss this true gem if you are looking to stop in Wiltshire.

We received a very warm welcome both on our arrival and at breakfast the following morning. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast menu was varied and I was very happy to find gluten-free options. The room was very clean and comfortable and the bed extremely comfortable. The tea & coffee making facilities were good - the extra milk, teabags and coffee sachets left out in a basket at the foot of the stairs, was also a very nice touch. The location on the High Street was perfect, being so close to several pubs and restaurants for dinner and the free private parking in the surgery car park behind the hotel was a convenient bonus. The proximity of Amesbury to Stonehenge, made this an ideal spot and a very pleasant place to spend the night, following our late afternoon visit to the stones.

We stayed in the newly renovated units at the back of the property, and they were exceptional. Parking was super easy with a parking lot right next to the hotel. The staff and the managers were extremely friendly and helpful at checkin, breakfast, and checkout. The breakfast was amazing. There is so much to like about this property!!

The extra bed in the room is a sofa bed with hard wooden slats that a fairly thin matress sits on top of. Our teenage daughter ended up needing to move the matress onto the floor to be comfortable. The hotel could look into just putting a single bed in those flats for guests who may need the extra bed.

We had to show up a little late and the staff were really easy to work with after hours. They set up a system where we could check-in with a pin and then they checked in on us at breakfast, which was very sweet and kind. The breakfast was perfect. The wonderfully pleasant and upbeat staff member greeted us, prepared toast, coffee, yogurt, and a variety of European meats and fruits. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast! It was also very close to Stonehendge, which was our main destination.

The warmest greeting! Made to feel immediately welcome and lots of tips for the local areas restaurants and places of interest. The room was clean and tidy. Quiet nights sleep with comfortable bed. We had an early start to do a tour of stonehenge but we're invited back to have breakfast if time allowed. Luckily it did, staff were friendly and very accommodating and the breakfast was great and plentiful. Couldn't be better placed for a pleasant evening in the town and stonehenge access too.

The rooms could do with a bit of a touch up in places but we were happy for the price paid.
