Lovely 2 night stay at the Throstle Nest Farm. Friendly staff, lovely breakfast and fabulous location. We had a downstairs room which had the same fabulous view as the lounge/ dining room 🙂. Tea and coffee is available in the lounge along with fresh milk in the fridge. I don't like to be negative but some of the furnishings in the room look a little tired, also a bit dusty with some cobwebs. We went walking around Settle and Ingleton while we were there. We ate at The Masons Arms at Gargrave both nights which was only a 10 minute drive. Lovely food 😋 Thankyou for a lovely stay in a beautiful part of the Yorkshire Dales and so quiet.
The bed was too soft for me and blackout blinds/ curtains would work well.

I've stayed at this property several times, and it never fails to deliver. The location is perfect, and I really wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in the area. I participate in the Tough Mudder events locally, and it makes a good base to travel to and from the venue. It's very quiet, so you can get a good night's sleep, and it is quiet during the day, so you are also able to nap. I would recommend staying here to friends, family, and colleagues. It's very easy to check in and check out too.
There isn't anything to dislike about the property, staff, or area. I think you will enjoy your stay, and the beds are also very comfortable with high-quality finishings in the rooms. Breakfast is on time and there is also good parking outside.

My partner and I visited this charming family run property as part of a weekend getaway to Yorkshire from London. We worked out that we needed to ring the doorbell to get the host's attention. She arrived almost immediately and showed us to our very beautiful room in the main house. Check-in was extremely informal, quick, and straightforward. Our room views were breathtaking, the room was warm with a modern shower and toilet. The water pressure was fantastic, and the bed was reasonably comfortable, with ample lighting, cupboard space Breakfast was good, with quite a few options available. We loved that there was wildlife to admire nearby, including pheasants and wild rabbits, and also appreciated that Skipton town centre was a few minutes drive away with several options for dining out.

The breakfast was fabulous, really tasty and the location was really wonderful. I was there to work, so i was too tired to explore. The weather was pleasant and there were people taking advantage of the outdoor seating. I really enjoyed the picturesque landscape and the farm critters.
The trains, but that can't be helped. The walls were a bit thin where I stayed, but it is a converted barn, so to be expected for load bearing.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Very nice lounge / dining area with wood stove. They're happy for you to order in take away and eat it in the dining area.
Parking area is a bit tight depending what spot you get. Might be tricky if you've got a really big car. Roads round there are a bit narrow and winding, but that's the countryside for you. Guest info could do with updating, especially recommendations for where to eat - some closed or restricted days for food.

Stayed here last weekend for one night, wish we'd have booked 2 nights. Absolutely stunning location and beautiful rooms. Lovely family run place, breakfast was brilliant and the staff were so friendly from start to finish. Literally 2 miles from Skipton centre. The conversion on this barn is exceptional. I'd recommend this place to anyone who's wanting a cosy nice place to stay for the night. Many thanks to the hosts. 100% satisfied. Thank you.
Nothing to comment here.

This is a gem tucked away in a beautiful country side, accessed by a long private drive where sheep grazed peacefully in the pasture alongside it. It does mean that you must have a car to get here. Parking is not a problem. There is a huge comfortable sitting and dining area which opens out to superb views of rolling fields and the occasional train passing by. The breakfast was excellent and the beds comfortable. We had a wonderful stay.

I recently stayed on my own for business and I have to say it's one, if not the loveliest places I've stayed at for work. I had the single room in the B&B and though it was a single it didn't feel pokey at all. Comfy bed, beautiful view over the countryside with a window seat. Spotless ensuite with shower. Tea and coffee making facilities with plenty of milk for once and lovely biscuits. Really peaceful and very quiet for sleeping. Fabulous breakfast and lovely staff. I would highly recommend and already have!

The property looked spectacular upon arrival. The views were amazing from outside and inside. The rustic charm was amazing, we loved the lounger area with the sofas and fire. Our room was lovely with everything we needed and perfectly clean.
There was nothing I didn’t like.

Attractive and well-appointed room with lovely views up the Aire Valley; very well-cooked breakfast each day, just perfect; a comfortable and friendly place to stay, well sited for the southern Dales and the Bronte country and the K&WVR.
A triviality, the postcode doesn't quite get you to the farm! And parking could be a little congested, though we always managed. Otherwise, excellent.
