The outside space was beautiful and well thought out the pub n restaurant area had a cosy friendly feel that welcomed you the staff could do enough for us and we thoroughly enjoyed are stay and will be booking again in the future

So I know this sounds picky and it's just a bug bear but they were really stingy with the sugar it was all in very small packets and you only got 2 with a cuppa tea when u asked for more they brought another 2 however I normally take 2 sugars but the packet was so small I had to use 5 for it to taste like 2 anyway in the morning I had cereal and there was these small packets of sugar well I asked if they could but some loose sugar in a pot for me so I can scatter it on my cereal and they couldn't so I had to stand there opening loads of tiny packets just so I could have sugar on my cereal that really annoyed me and when I come again I will bring a bag of sugar 😞😤 it wasn't just me either alot of the guest where saying the same thing that morning but other wise we had a great time

Small but well equipped room and bathroom. We were in one of the three first floor annexe rooms at the back of the pub's beer garden overlooking the secure car park at the rear (token obtainable at the bar) Nice, modern furnishings and tea/coffee/biscuit tray with fresh milk (given at the bar) Good, wholesome Yorkshire breakfast. Lovely waterfall shower and large, soft, white fluffy towels. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Very pet friendly (our dog was offered a freshly cooked sausage for breakfast!) Busy pub and we thought noise might have been a problem but in the end heard nothing. Good, central location. Didn't eat dinner in the pub as we were at a family event close by but the menu looked appetising. Reasonably priced beer and wine.

Possibly a bit more floor space in the room (for dog bed etc) but in the end it wasn't a real problem.

The staff were so polite, professional and helpful. They are a real credit to the Wooly Sheep. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was absolutely delicious. The outdoor seating area is really lovely in all weathers.

The room and bathroom were clean, nicely decorated and well presented. However, the bathroom was in need of some tweaks. Some silicone was missing from the bottom of the shower door allowing water to escape, the shower gel and lotion bottles looked quite well used which put me off using them and the toilet seat was the wrong size for the basin.

My single room had a king sized bed. So thank you for my upgrade. The staff were exceptional in their customer care.

The breakfast coffee was the only thing that let the experience down. Current expectations are for decent coffee. Most establishment and a lot of homes now have automated hot drink vending machines which allow the customer to select a hot beverage of their choice. Their is nothing essentially wrong with plain filtred coffee. However, the coffee on offer for my stay was just 'plain nasty'. You would not serve this in the bar/restaurant. Why offer it for your guest breakfast?

Lovely old building, deceptively big inside and it has been refurbished beautifully in keeping with the character. Everything was very clean. The Woolly Sheepish is easy to find and has a large car park to rear. We didn’t eat dinner here but the menu looked lovely and there is a good choice of real ales on tap for the beer drinkers. The breakfast was great and plentiful. The staff were all very friendly.

Our room was a little dark and there was a bit of noise (creaking floor boards) from the room above but it didn’t spoil our stay and is to be expected in such an old building.

From walking through the door to see the smiling faces of the staff we knew we had chosen the right place to stay, the pub itself is beautiful the room we stayed in wasn't the room we had originally booked due to a glitch on booking.com, but the standard room was perfect for our short stay, the bed was so comfortable the decor was amazing. The biggest thing though was the service level the girl behind the bar and the girl working the breakfast area on Sunday was so nice they are a massive assest to your company. The breakfast was the best ive had in ages We will be back in the next month or so

Nothing we loved it and loved skipton

Our room was well furnished and very comfortable. Our en suite, although somewhat bijou, was well designed, with an excellent shower.

Our arrival was via an alleyway, with no actual sight of an inn. Entry was via the rear entrance as that was where the car park was located. For a moment I wasn’t sure if we had made the right choice for overnight stay in Skipton. However, once inside we realised it was a good choice. Staff were friendly, accommodation was excellent and food was very good too.

We received a warm and friendly welcome, Our room was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. The bed was very comfortable and gave a very good night's sleep. The food at dinner was of excellent quality and there was a good selection. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of cold or hot food. The range of beers was also excellent. The location right in the middle of Skipton is extremely convenient and although the car park is tucked away to the rear, access is fine.
