I liked that there was a mini fridge with fresh milk, tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits and hot chocolate selection was enough for my stay. Andrex toilet paper (soft, soft, soft :-)), shower gel and shampoo provided as well as soft towels. Samsung tv meant I could mirror my Ipad to it which was a plus. Storage and overall room was good and air conditioning was great! It felt like I was staying in a loved one's guest room which is a nice feeling to have.

Seemed as though sugar was not changed as there were some lumps in it (from contact with liquid) ceiling wallpaper was coming away from ceiling, stains (only pink nail varnish) on duvet cover and net curtains had dead fly marks on them. Other than that the room and bathroom was nice, clean, cosy and quiet. I wasn't in much and only needed a room to sleep in so the negatives were not a big issue.

This place is a real gem. The shared spaces (stairwells, hallways) were rather dated and musty, but the room itself was clean, airy, light, and really pleasant. A great deal of thought has gone into the details: the room had a powerful aircon that was more than capable of as much cooling as was needed; there was a dedicated power point in the night table that included two USB charging points; there was the usual tea-and-coffee making equipment, but instead of milk powder or UHT packets there was a tiny mains-powered fridge with a bottle of fresh milk inside it. Somebody has put a lot of effort into making it a lovely place to spend a night, and it shows.

I skipped breakfast for unrelated reasons, so can't comment on it, but the options presented were uninspiring.

Clean room and ensuite. Comfortable beds. Above and beyond in relation to amenities - including a pint of milk in a mini fridge, face wipes, chocolate! Although a busy area it was a quiet location. 2 minute walk to the supermarket.

Sensor light in corridor came on several times over night which did shine under the doorway - may disrupt sleep if a light sleeper. Parking for the guest house was limited - we were able to park but if not parking would be challenging as very busy residential area with lots of parking restrictions in place.

I particularly liked the comfort of the bed and pillows. it is rare to find this in paid-for accommodations. The location is very central and the parking is a great bonus too. The shower was also great! Coffee/tea facilities are nice and well furbished.

The carpet can do with a refresh and the bathroom was a bit cold as the heating there was not on. At the start I felt the room was a bit humid as I had one on the ground floor, but in very early autumn, with some heating coming up in the afternoon, it was OK.

Alex greeted us as soon as we arrived and showed us where the room was. There was a separate front door making it easier to get to the room. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy and warm. The bed was super soft. Tea making facilities included actual milk! that's right. actual milk rather than those annoying little UHT things. Plus, the milk has it's only little fridge. The TV's channels all were tuned in unlike most properties I stay at where you're lucky to get 1 channel. Location wise it's just a few minutes walk to the main high street where all the bars and restaurants and shops are. Sainsbury's is within 2 mins walk if you need any emergency supplies. Great place to stay should you ever be visiting Sleaford... but why would anyone go to Sleaford? :)

Very nice clean comfortable ensuite room with a mini fridge, kettle,tea and coffee.the guest house has a private car park to the rear and a private entrance so you can come go as you please The owner and staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating nothing was to much trouble. The guest house is in a prime location easy access to a supermarket and the town centre all in walking distance. I would definitely recommend the Riverside Guest house and would stay there again.

When we stayed before (with Helen) a lovely cooked breakfast was included - I assumed mistakenly that it would be again. It was obviously my mistake not to check the details - as I was so pleased there were 3 nights available when we needed them at short notice(!) I tried to 'undo' the related bonus question response, "No" (regarding price and expectation) but it wouldn't let me do that. Personally, I didn't like the textured duvet cover top and we would both have welcomed a sheet underneath it - to help regulate bed temperature at night, as the duvet was very warm.

Exceptional clean. Tidy facilities more than expected and excellent quality. Car parking and it was quiet area but near for seeing the town I could not recommend this guest house more highly better than many hotels will definitely be using it again in the future and would recommend it to people thank you for a great stay

I didn’t have any problems but it does have stairs to access the rooms but this is not a dislike about the guest house

Lovely place to spend a few nights The price was great. And the host was very helpful and friendly. Well decorated throughout and clean. With very good facilities for tea, coffee and chocolate. Biscuits and chocolate as a finishing touch along bottled water. Large screen tv wall mounted. Shampoo and shower were available in the room with clean fresh towels for the shower and hand wash. With matching décor and bedding. A short walk from the town centre along the river opposite. Sadly this time i did not take any photos of the room to share. The room size was good and cosy.

What's not to like is more the question with this place. For the money its more than worth it. With the quality of service

Alex has put a lot of thought into the facilities and provision for the guests, with a beautifully decorated room. a small fridge, fresh milk and quality biscuits and chocolate. The towels were large and fluffy and the beds were very comfortable. There was also a desk and Smart TV and free parking. I highly recommend staying here and will return to the Riverside Guest House whenever we stay in Sleaford.

I have no suggestions for improvement.
