Alex greeted us as soon as we arrived and showed us where the room was. There was a separate front door making it easier to get to the room. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy and warm. The bed was super soft. Tea making facilities included actual milk! that's right. actual milk rather than those annoying little UHT things. Plus, the milk has it's only little fridge. The TV's channels all were tuned in unlike most properties I stay at where you're lucky to get 1 channel. Location wise it's just a few minutes walk to the main high street where all the bars and restaurants and shops are. Sainsbury's is within 2 mins walk if you need any emergency supplies. Great place to stay should you ever be visiting Sleaford... but why would anyone go to Sleaford? :)

When we stayed before (with Helen) a lovely cooked breakfast was included - I assumed mistakenly that it would be again. It was obviously my mistake not to check the details - as I was so pleased there were 3 nights available when we needed them at short notice(!) I tried to 'undo' the related bonus question response, "No" (regarding price and expectation) but it wouldn't let me do that. Personally, I didn't like the textured duvet cover top and we would both have welcomed a sheet underneath it - to help regulate bed temperature at night, as the duvet was very warm.

Very nice clean comfortable ensuite room with a mini fridge, kettle,tea and coffee.the guest house has a private car park to the rear and a private entrance so you can come go as you please The owner and staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating nothing was to much trouble. The guest house is in a prime location easy access to a supermarket and the town centre all in walking distance. I would definitely recommend the Riverside Guest house and would stay there again.

There was nothing not to like

Lovely place to spend a few nights The price was great. And the host was very helpful and friendly. Well decorated throughout and clean. With very good facilities for tea, coffee and chocolate. Biscuits and chocolate as a finishing touch along bottled water. Large screen tv wall mounted. Shampoo and shower were available in the room with clean fresh towels for the shower and hand wash. With matching décor and bedding. A short walk from the town centre along the river opposite. Sadly this time i did not take any photos of the room to share. The room size was good and cosy.

What's not to like is more the question with this place. For the money its more than worth it. With the quality of service

Very close to town centre allowing access to food and drink. Parking, for the area, was good but you needed to take care manoeuvring in tight confines. Simple continental breakfast with very good coffee.

Access to most rooms and to the breakfast area was via fairly steep and narrow stairs. Not suitable for people with mobility issues. 1 bedroom was available on the ground floor and you could access the breakfast area via a front door if needed.

Rooms were newly decorated and very comfortable and homely, bathrooms very clean and modern. Alex was thorough on check-in, talked through room facilities, how keys worked, how to access wifi and work the air conditioning (air con provided cool or heated air very efficiently, room was warm in seconds) and provided proper milk in a flask for the tea and coffee station in the room (included chocs and biscuits!)

The only issue we had was with hot water in one shower, this was addressed immediately and the next morning our water was very hot.

The location was good, very close to the centre of town. The dedicated Parking space is a perfect based upon the fact that there is NO on street parking available. The host was very helpful. Our room was warm and bright with a HUGE bathroom!

My only issue was how parked up the street outside the Guest House is (single file traffic ALL day) and in the street to the Guest Houses parking. Always reverse into the Parking space as there is no room to turn around in the road!

The room was very good, all I could have wanted for a 4-day stay, although a small fridge would have been a bonus. The location close to the town centre, whilst not actually in it, was ideal.

The only negative from my point of view, being somewhat elderly, was the steepness of the stairs. I can't comment on the continental breakfast as I decided to eat out. Car parking at the rear of the property was also convenient.

The property was great and very clean and comfortable. The owner was great and sent me arrival instructions in advance and was very helpful. It is in a great location and near everything. The room was lovely and the bathroom was clean and nice. The breakfast was great and I really can't fault anything about my stay. I will definitely stay again!

There was nothing that I didn't like to be honest

Great service from Alex, kept in touch by messages on the way upto Lincolnshire. When we arrived we was not disappointed at the location. Beautiful cozy warm room with all the necessary needs tea sugar coffee towels milk for your stay in your room. Very clean room cannot fault it we will be going back their to stay when visiting.

Unfortunately no breakfast served their anymore.
