What a beautiful and peaceful place to stay! The Old Stable is just perfect.. beautiful interiors, comfortable sofa and armchair in leaving room, TV and WiFi working fine.. Kitchen is well equipped. The beds and bedding are so comfortable! And smell so good too :) The shower is hot, powerful and spacious. There are two toilets and a washing machine. The owners are really nice and they thought about every little thing to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Don't worry about bringing an iron, hair dryer, washing up liquid, ear plugs or umbrellas - they're all provided :) I'm definitely saving The Old Stable for my future stays in Lincolnshire.
It didn't bother us so much, but please note that the cottage is located right opposite the church and the bells can disturb you every 15 minutes, also at night. Ear plugs are provided or you can pack ones that you like and it shouldn't be a problem :)

Such a beautiful little place. So peaceful in such a picturesque area. The cottage was so well equipped, it had everything you'd need and more. The hosts had thought of everything. Beds very comfy, really nice quality bedding. Our daughter loved the little welcome basket, inclusive of biscuits and Jams/Marmalade. 😀 We had a drink and some food at The Royal Oak pub which was nice, great play area for kids too. It was just want we were looking for in a little stayover, rather than a hotel room. This was we could put our little one to bed and still enjoy our evening, having a drink by the fire. We'll 100% be booking again. Highly recommend. Really lovely family who host too.

A great location in a quiet village. The accomodation is tastefully appointed and caters for every need, including a washing machine/dryer. The owner greeted us on arrival and there was a variety of thoughtful welcoming food snacks. Off street parking and in a character converted old stable, the accomodation oozed history.

Self contained cottage with a little area to sit outside. The property was full of charm and character. The owners were fantastic friendly and helpful the neighbours next door were so friendly and helpful too. We felt fortunate to stay in a great cottage within a lovely quiet area with plenty to do but as usual not enough time. Would recommend this cottage and will definitely stay again
It wasn’t closer to our home it took us 8-9 hrs on British rubbish roads but once we got there it was worth the journey. Also I’m a sun worshiper… I come from Scotland come on. So the pretty courtyard was never gonna give me sun that I watched with dewy eyes as it passed all around us.

I took my elderly mother here for a few days, she can't walk very far so The Old Stable was perfect as it's all on one level, the layout and decor were really quaint as well as being lovely and clean, it had everything you might need on hand during your stay including a parking space right outside the property, the location was beautiful, we loved hearing the bells chime from the church across the road, we will definitely be returning here sooner rather than later, we couldn't fault it, we met the owner of the property on our arrival and she was lovely, she couldn't do enough for us and was always on hand if we needed anything, we highly recommend anyone visiting here, you definitely won't be disappointed.
There was nothing at all we didn't like about it.

The location was perfect for us as we came to Lincolnshire to visit friends, but having said that great location for visiting other areas ie Lincoln and the coast not too far away. If churches are of interest plenty of outstanding churches to visit and where there is a church there is usually a good pub.
Possibly the lack of a pub and village shop, but good pubs and shops not too far away, is well within walking distance.

Location was excellent for me. Within 1 min drive of Heckington and on the way to the Care Home my aunt lives in. Good that there were Kitchen facilities especially a fridge. Excellent amount of space with parking. All on one level, no stairs.
Can't think of anything I didn't like

Beautifully converted stables. Very spacious. Large bedroom with comfortable beds and lovely bed linens. So cosy and very well equipped for our stay. The owner and her delightful children were so friendly and checked that we were happy and if we needed anything at all. We will stay here again. Highly recommended

I absolutely loved this place! It was really lovely and I'm so happy I stumbled upon the listing. The location was great. It was easy to find and parking was not a problem. There were lovely touches throughout and lots of information for the cottage and surrounding areas.

Lovely place to stay. Was bigger than we expected. Felt very homely & relaxing.
Nothing to not like. I had seen reviews about the church bells, but they didn't bother us.
