The room was big and the bed was huge. We had a lovely view and the bathroom was great with a separate shower and bath. Room was also very clean. The decor was quite old fashioned but I like that so I didn't mind. The staff were friendly and the bar and restaurant downstairs was lovely and modern and drinks weren't too badly priced. Boston town was a 10 minute walk too so that was convenient. And breakfast was also included which was a nice surprise but unfortunately we didn't get up in time to have any.
Nothing really, the bed was a little uncomfortable but I've stayed in alot worse. It's a little noisy around which isn't anyone's fault. All in all a pleasant stay.

Room 10 is enormous with a superking bed, and has a feature fireplace and 2 large sash windows overlooking the quay. The bathroom is vast too. There is a fridge, could be useful but is not silent. Windows can be left open securely, or shut to keep out road noise. Breakfast is very good with continental choices and a cooked option at weekends only, which was very tasty (garlic and pepper in scrambled egg, I like it!) Night porter service by phone gets you through to a human right away, handy when you don't understand how to get from the night entrance to your room (as the internal door we had used earlier was now locked). Car park is quiet and if it's full, the road outside is wide and free. Walking distance to town centre.
Our first night neighbour in the attic room above us came in at 2am to spend the night pacing his room. The floor is very loud and creaky and I did not sleep a wink! I went up at 4am and asked him to stop. This attic room is probably not used much, on our second night we had peace.

From start to finish, the experience was absolutely flawless! From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with the warmest smiles, and the entire team goes above and beyond to ensure you’re treated to the highest level of care and attention. A special shoutout to Maddie and Eva—these two were simply outstanding, going out of their way to make everything perfect. And the food? Absolutely divine—an unforgettable culinary delight!

So nearly was a perfect stay except the mattress was not comfortable at all -very hard. which led to an uncomfortable nights sleep.

Apart from the convenient location, what stood out a lot about this hotel is the warmth and comfort of rooms, as well as the option for soft yet effective lighting within the same. The buffet-style breakfast (included in the price) was exceptional. The staff were also friendly and very helpful.
As I was trying to sleep, at some point shortly before midnight, there started a recurrent, rhythmic buzz from an unidentified source. In retrospect, it did not infringe a lot upon my rest, but I would appreciate the extra 15-30 minutes of sleep which I would have enjoyed if it weren't for this.

Rooms were very clean, staff very friendly, especially Arena,( sorry have probably incorrectly spelt her name) who greeted us both mornings at breakfast. Very good choice of items for breakfast, evening meal in the restaurant was excellent.
Hard to find anything negative, if you pushed me to say something I would say some hooks for hanging towels on the bathroom door would be helpful as it was a very small space.

Third time I have stayed here - an annual visit for work - so can't be bad. Easy to find good value and spacious room - if you ask for it. Evening food is good and generous BUT see below
Worth checking how busy the restaurant is in advance. The food is good so can be popular. It took a long time for my order to be taken and then food to appear... principally because there was a large family party enjoying themselves probably does not happen every night but worth checking

Contacted by the staff with clear and concise instructions to gain entry etc as I was arriving out of hours. Excellent location with no parking restrictions and it's own car park. Room and bathroom were huge with good quality fixtures and fittings and a fridge which was a bonus as we were staying a couple of days. It's an old building that has been converted and has many winding turns which made it quaint and quirky, good signage throughout and rooms were well signposted so no problems. I didn't eat nor do I drink these days but the bar was well stocked clean and tidy and being well frequented by others during my stay. All in all a very pleasant stop over, great value for money and I would certainly recommend the hotel and use it again in the future.
Nothing on this occasion. Everything was as I'd expect it to be.

Well refurbished modern hotel, I was travelling solo so had one of the small single upper rooms, I believe the larger ones are much nicer. I stay all over the UK cycle touring and try to stay in the £50-60 mark as all I want is good shower and a clean bed, often I get disappointed. But not here, the staff were super efficient and friendly and my room was clean and comfortable. Nice quiet area about 15 mins walk from the very centre.
For the price I paid I'd be nitpicking to complain about anything.

The room was booked quite last minute for coleagues of mine. My party was checking in after hours, so the hotel was very good in that they contacted me to verify that all was still okay with the booking as the night went on. It was good to have that peace of mind that 'on arrival' all would be fine with the late check in.
Although it didn't really affect my colleagues, I suppose more flexible 24 hour check in arrangements would be useful to some travellers. Though as I stated, the staff were happy to acommodate my colleagues arrival just fine.
