The breakfast was excellent, the evening food was even better. The welcome and hospitality was way beyond expectations. The location was superb, the Fens were just a short walk from the pub, very peaceful and beautiful.

The most I could say is that the lighting in the room is a little low and the shower was a little weak for my liking. But that is me being very picky. It would definitely not stop me coming back.

Location was perfect for what we needed, the room we initially booked wasnt suitable for our needs as a family and the owners were amazing at letting us swap to another room. Food was amazing! Staff were so friendly and accomodating- even with a very busy 2 year old in tow! Everyone included her and listened to her songs, and didnt mind us walking around the pub looking at the artifacts to keep her busy whilst we were waiting for our food. Breakfast was great too! Pub opened early for us and food was ready very swiftly after ordering the day before. Would definitely stay again if we need to!

The only things I can comment on is that the shower was a bit slow to drain- drains might need investigating/clearing and that there wasnt any spare bed covers for the extra pull out bed, only a pillow but no pillow cover or sheets/duvet. This however didnt really affect our stay as we packed a sleep sack for our daughter in case!

The room was warm and comfortable with parking available immediately outside. The staff are friendly, helpful and prepared for our arrival. We had a good meal at a reasonable price. The location was ideal for our needs and very quiet.

Unfortunately the room wasn't as clean as a previous visit with the bathroom sink partially blocked with hair and the room could do with a little redecorating. Breakfast was served from 8 so unfortunately too late for our earlier departure at 7:30

A great idea the rooms are like little houses in the car park. Lovely warm rooms & the water, crisps, tea/coffee & toiletries are a nice surprise. Couple of bits needed attention but sounds like they will sort those. Food both in the evening & breakfast was very tasty too.

Broken lamp & shower but as only there one night it wasn’t huge. Food wise, Broccoli & cheese bake lacked broccoli and seasonal veg is just peas mainly! That said both very tasty.

The accommodation was excellent, maybe offer the chance to have twin beds or push them together to make a king

The breakfast choices were poor. Normal or vegetarian full English breakfast was the only option. No juice offered or option to for a small buffet with yoghurts etc. Give your guests the option to choose their breakfast the night before and a choice. The breakfast we did have was very nice.

Clean , comfortable room in separate building at rear of pub. Plenty of room for luggage. Was warm on cold night and everything worked. Separate bathroom with shower worked well. Friendly staff. Pub has very good menu of well presented food . Breakfast was excellent.

Bathroom light was a bit dim & had a noisy extractor fan … minor issues, but otherwise nothing to complain about

Red Lion was comfortable, welcoming and the food was first class. The breakfast was a must. Rooms clean and quiet. Stunning location and the staff welcoming and professional. We travelled as a group of four motorcyclists doing a weekend tour of Lincolnshire. Motorcycle was safe and we could see them from our window.

Gravel car park a bit scary on a motorcycle.

There was free WiFi but unfortunately it did not extend to the room. It was only accessible if you went into the pub. This meant I could not work from my room. I could not work out how to access basic TV programmes like BBC or ITV. It kept telling me the app had not loaded

I really liked the cottage style accommodation detached from the pub. A wonderful welcome by the landlord who organised a personalised service and good value breakfast. Fantastic atmosphere in the pub on Friday night with great home cooked food. You know you're onto a good thing when the locals throng there. Despite this no disturbance from the pub's customers when they leave for home.

The Red Lion was a lovely village pub in a very pretty village. For the price the accommodation was excellent and everyone very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely. It was all just as we had hoped and will certainly stay again.

The mirror above the dressing table was too high to see into when you sat at the dressing table.
