A lovely welcome by the host when we arrived in the car park. The shower was amazing - the water pressure and instant hot water was the best I have ever experienced and not forgetting the underfloor heating. The bed was so big and comfortable. The room made you feel so homely but also going into a fantasy world with the decor and the amazing furniture. It was appreciated having biscuits and water in the fridge. Breakfast - fantastic cloudy apple juice in a small glass bottle, I had 2 because it was so good. The 3 egg omelette was incredible, cooked in butter - filled to the brim with tomato, bacon and mushrooms. My partner had the full English Breakfast which was all freshly cooked and very filling. We had brown bread toast which was delicious (either they made it themselves or they have a fabulous local bakery). What a gem of a place we found, if we are in the area again we will certainly stay here again.

Many times I have stayed at the Village Limits hotel and with good reason. The rooms are a good size, comfortable and with several really pleasing touches, such as: Royal Worcester Wrendale cups and Hannah Dale soft furnishings, Whole milk as well as semi-skimmed milk for mixing with tea/coffee or chocolate (yes, sachets of chocolate drink are provided in addition to tea and coffee). Nice bar and excellent evening meals and a really good breakfast. This is just a quality establishment.

The only, minor, minor thing I would like extra is a bar of soap in the bathroom. I know there is an ample supply of liquid soap but I would like the option of a small bar of soap.

A fantastic overnight stay in a quirky, quality hotel. The rooms are separate to the pub and restaurant in a 'stable' block type arrangement. Rooms are excellent, good quality everything, extra large beds and large 50" TV on the wall. Very quiet and comfortable giving an excellent quality sleep and with the TV there is quite a large selection of movies available to watch, many of them only released this year. Breakfast was in the pub and again everything was perfect with top quality ingredients cooked fresh to order. We had dinner in the restaurant and the quality of the food and service was superb. Pub and restaurant have very quirky decorations but that makes it very interesting and very different to the normal run of the mill establishment. One thing to note is that the pub and restaurant are separate to the accommodation and dont open until 5pm. A lovely stay and we will certainly return.

Slightly out of town, around 20 minutes walk into the centre of Woodhall Spa.

Where to start.. everyone has said everything - I can simply reiterate what a fabulous overall experience we had - the combination of the fantastic well appointed unit with Everything a person could need complete with huge comfy bed. However the stand out, most memorable feature was the restaurant and exceptional staff, right down to the lovely new girl who had only just started and fitted in so well. The food was exceptional too - however the decor was outrageously wonderful - so well implemented and cared for with love and passion. You so deserve your win.

Absolutely nothing. Having been on holiday for 4 months - this was the best value, memorable stay of our trip. Unfortunately we couldn’t stay to wander the beautiful village

Lovely quiet location. Plenty of parking. Good breakfast choices. Host very friendly. We stayed in Suite 5, which was very spacious, well equipped, quirky decor. Room has air conditioning which was fab as we had a heat wave while we were away. There is a little fridge that had botted water. There is a bath which we like. All in all very comfortable accommodation & we had a very enjoyable stay. Its a 20 minute walk into the centre of the village which doesn't bother us but may not suit everyone.

We love Village Limits as it is conveniently close to where our family live when we visit. All of the rooms are first class but this time we were allocated a fabulous little suite which was amazing. The hosts are friendly and helpful and the breakfasts come with exactly what you request and freshly cooked. We also had an evening meal there in their restaurant which was fantastic.

Nothing at all!!! If I need to be really picky and find a fault... It was a little bit untidy in the breakfast room with Christmas decorations on the floor, but they weren't in the way at all.

The breakfast offering was very comprehensive and freshly cooked to order. A wide selection of teas, coffees and cereals was available. The room was very clean, warm and comfortable with a good shower and plenty of hot water. Coffee facilities were provided and the room was easily accessible from the car park.

We had been advised by email from Booking.com, the day before our arrival, that the restaurant was not available for evening meals during our stay. The proprietor informed us that this was not correct, but had been the case at the time of our booking. Consequently we had made arrangements to eat elsewhere before we commenced travelling.

When we entered our room, we were very pleased with the layout, space and décor of the room and bathroom. The tea making facilities were ample, especially teabags; we usually find when we stay in B&B's there are never enough teabags as we do not drink coffee. The instructions for the television were great; usually we have difficulty tuning in or being able to use the tv; even the added bonus of free films to watch if we wanted to. The bed was very roomy and comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. The breakfast was very good, tasty and filling; the lady was very attentive to our needs and very quick and efficient. We did go into the bar area; it was very pleasant, welcoming and easy to relax in with lots of comfy chairs and sofas. We did think the cost of drinks was a bit steep but sometimes you have to expect this in smaller establishments, especially when they are in a more rural, quiet place away from immediate bars and restaurants. We will return and will recommend to our friends and family.

There was nothing we didn't like; it was perfect for our visit.

Good sized room and bathroom (with bath tub). Warm. Comfy bed. Good TV. Parking immediately outside the room. Good breakfast. Very friendly cat!

For check-in when the pub isn't open (i.e. Mondays and Tuesdays) it could be made clearer via the email messages that check-in instructions to access the room will actually be sent via a message (and there is no point in ringing the number given as no-one will answer it). It took me 20mins of knocking on windows and making fruitless phone calls trying to raise someone before I saw that I had a Text Message which gave the room access instructions.

This is our second stay here as we found it so good last time. The room had air con and a mini fridge which was excellent. A good selection on the breakfast menu. The lady who served us breakfast was friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Shower in great working order although it was an over-bath one and the bath was quite deep with no handles to grip on to. My twin bed seemed to be higher round the edges and dip in the middle. Unfortunately I could feel the springs digging in and had to try and lay around the edge to get comfortable. Would suggest that the car park has marked spaces as some of the guests clearly can’t park for toffee, leaving big spaces between cars but just not big enough to park another car.
