The friendly, efficient staff. The building itself and its atmosphere. The room was wonderfully spacious, impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable. So well-placed for exploring the beautiful countryside around us. Would definitely recommend.mend highly!

Nothing at all! Just our arrival... The postcode given took us initially to The Red Lion in Spilsby itself. Absolutely grim! But fortunately, it doesn't do accommodation. This made The Red Lion Inn, Partney look and feel even more lovely when we finally reached it - but we may well have just driven home again! T

Quite simply one of the best overnight stays I have ever had. My Mum is 80 and is unable to use stairs or walk any great distance. The little bungalow type building that Chris (the owner) has had built in her gorgeous garden is set up for people with mobility problems. What did we love? Well everything! The standard of cleanliness is exceptional, the décor is stunning, the gardens are so pretty, the outside area is so well kept. The food was great (both evening meal and breakfast) Honestly you can see why they have won awards for all aspects of the business. We both slept soundly in the quiet and in bed linen that smelt fresh and clean. Mum was able to shower in the Wet Room. Wonderful! Chris is an amazing individual and should be so proud of what she has done to make her home so welcoming to her guests. Thanks to Jane the chef, the food was fresh, and tasted delicious! There was absolutely nothing to dislike.

Everything! From the moment we turned up the owner and her chef were so welcoming. The outside space is very well kept , it was lovely having drinks outside. The room was a great size, very clean with everything you need. The breakfast was one of the best we have had. It was a refreshing change that the food was piping hot , which nowadays where ever you go always just seems slightly warm. So it made it exceptional! We also had our evening meal here and again the food was great . We would definitely recommend.

Just want to make people booking the Red Lion that they are quite alot around the area with the same name. Don't make the same mistake as us and turn up at the wrong one . This is the Red lion in Partney . Booking. Com need to make it clear.

This is a lovely hotel, very comfortable with great service. Christine was welcoming and attentive. The rooms were a great size. We stayed in rooms 4 & 5, which overlooked the garden area and were in a separate building. Our daughter stayed in room 1 in the main hotel. All the rooms were beautifully furnished and and very well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. We had dinner on the first night and breakfast both mornings, no complaints. Highly recommend if you are visiting the Lincolnshire Wolds.

A wonderful place to stay. Christine, the owner, runs a tight ship and the room was beautifully appointed, a huge bathroom and everything was spotlessly clean. Our dinner was superbly cooked by Jane as was the excellent breakfast with lovely ingredients. We will return - we had a wonderful stay celebrating my birthday, and I will certainly be recommending The Red Lion to all my friends.

Nothing to be improved upon, except it would have been nice to have a couple of hooks in the bathroom for clothes. However this is a tiny issue.

The Red Lion Inn is wonderful! Way beyond our expectations, our room was fabulous with a huge bathroom, seating area, and with a lovely view onto the garden. Food is excellent, cooked fresh, very tasty, plentiful, and beautifully presented. All credit to the fantastic chef. Christine and Jane are lovely ladies and it's evident that they are proud of this lovely inn. We highly recommend a stay here, and hopefully, we'll come to stay again. Thank you!

It's perfect

We received a very warm welcome on arrival. The atmosphere was friendly and the bar area was well-furnished and inviting. The rooms were extremely well-appointed, impeccably clean and very comfortable. All the decor had been carefully thought out, the bed was very cosy and the en suite very nicely laid out and perfectly functional (though extraction was absent). The restaurant was laid out in a considered manner to allow for privacy of conversation and once again the environment was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The service we received was second to none. The food was amazing in quality and quantity. What an exceptional chef Jane is! Christine, the owner, fulfilled our every need, including opening the bar to serve us drinks before dinner and putting a birthday candle in a meal to help us celebrate. Nothing was too much trouble. Rarely does an establishment live up to its reviews, but The Red Lion exceeded our expectations by far. We would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone.

With exception of the lack of bathroom extraction (there was a window for ventilation), we couldn’t fault a thing.

We were made very welcome by Christine, and nothing was too much trouble. Super comfy bed, massive (superior) room, quiet, very clean. No complaints! Ranks amongst the best of the many places we have stayed in.

This is not so much a didn't like as a suggestion that USB charging points are put in - they are available on 13-amp sockets, so it is a simple matter to change one or two. This saves travellers having to carry adaptors.

We had 2 bed rooms upstairs at the Inn. Both were beautifully decorated and furnished to a very high standard. The shower room was lovely, nice large shower area. Continual hot water from the shower. The bed room and shower room were spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious. The hostess and chef were very friendly and professional

Breakfast was first class, we pre ordered the previous night for an early start next day. The meal was of excellent quality, cooked and served by very pleasant staff and we were then set for the day at East Kirkby Air Air Museum. A fine evening meal the previous night followed by a good rest in a first class room and the wonderful breakfast made for a good day at East Kirkby.

Nothing, this is a lovely Hotel/Restaurant and I can't see how it could be improved.
