My wife and I travelled to Skegness by train and bus to the Villager on Ingoldmells , I had requested if we could leave our overnight (2nights) bags as we would arrive about 12.00 and check in was 15.00. I was notified that this would not be possible, we stayed in Skegness a hour and made our way on the bus to the villager arriving at 14.00. The plan was to have a drink in the bar but on arriving the lady at the bar advised the room 30 was ready and checked us in. The room was up a flight of stairs but on entering was found to be warm welcoming and very clean. The on suite facility was well equipt. We were well satisfied with our room , comfort warm and cleanliness. My wife noticed that milk , coffee , sugar all provided, travesty no tea bags, (lol). We unpacked and went down to the bar on ordering a drink I mentioned the tea bags, the lady on duty took them straight up and then came and advised it was remedied. This place is in and ideal place for all Ingoldmells facilities and transport hubs. One slight issue in the bathroom was the shower head when switched on slides down the pole, I didn't make an issue of it as we had tape and it was sorted , just mentioned here as an advisory.

On arrival we was greeted by a member of staff at the bar, he explained everything in detail as this was the first time we stayed here, he was a polite gentleman. All the staff was polite and helpful when asked questions. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, I would certainly stay in this hotel again. The room was spacious for a couple and when looked out the window you could see the fair. At night time when in your hotel room you could hear the dj singing and laughing and it was nice to listen to from your room. The breakfasts were lovely in the morning before going out for the day.

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property .

We stayed here for two nights 25th/26th March 2025.. Booking in was really easy the staff were very friendly and quick and easy book in no problems at all.. Room was adequate for our stay had everything we needed and clean.. if we needed anything we only had to ask and was sorted straight away.. I would certainly recommend this establishment again staff were great.. we didn't require breakfast but is available when pub opens.. Thank you all at the Villager Pub.

The bed was really comfy, we booked for 2 nights and wanted to stay longer.. The room had everything you needed. Good selection of tea and coffee making making facilities. Never enough milk cartons but just ask in the pub and they will happily provide more for you. Iron available on request if needed. You can control the heating in the room and there was a ceiling fan if you were too warm. Pub downstairs is lovely. Everyone was friendly.

The location was excellent, across the road from everything you can expect from a holiday hotel. Upstairs from a pub with live entertainment. Absolutely loved it. the room was perfect , clean, and very comfortable. Staff were friendly.

The price was a little bit high just for one night and maybe needs a minor upgrade to the furniture for those who do stay longer

The location was brilliant. The size of the rooms are great! Beds are comfy! Staff were very helpful when needed. We also loved that free parking was provided for us throughout our stay. Lovely to have tea and coffee supplied in our rooms.

There are a lot of stairs and some family members I came with have some mobility problems. You only have one downstairs room which had been booked therefore we think it would be a great idea if there was a lift or even a stair lift, which there is room for, and this would had made it much easier for them to get to their room without hurting/being in pain. We did state for our rooms to be close together and 2 rooms were next to each other which was fantastic! One room was a little out of the way, we was told this was due to bed situation. We was still happy!

Everything was excellent. Great staff, food and drinks. Was in an excellent location with great entertainment. If i was to make one suggestion, it would be for the cutlery to be brought out with the food. My mum sat outside and can't walk very well so, I had ordered her food for her. Her food came out and she asked for the cutlery and the waiter just said oh its inside. She had to leave the table and struggle to get the cutlery. Later in the evening, we went inside to play cards and a family of 4 were given their food, again, they asked for cutlery and were told where it was and they sent their young lad off to get them before they could start eating, i just think to make it perfect, just bring the cutlery with the food for customers, otherwise, it was 10/10.

The trio room that we had was lovely, very clean and fairly spacious it had everything that you could possibly need, the bed was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was nice and clean and you get facilities to make tea and coffee.The staff were very helpful and polite. We would definitely look at a return visit and we definitely recommend

The bed was a little too hard for me, that may have been the room we stayed in . We've never stayed in this room before, I have a problem with my hip at the moment and the bed was a little too firm for me to lay on that side, we don't normally have a problem, the bathroom door in our room was really sticky so woke the other half up every time they used it during the night

Great location, clean, comfy beds and onsite parking.

The room was of decent size, but the only downside was the heating. It was a heatwave during our stay; the ceiling fan didn’t work, the radiator in the bathroom wouldn’t turn off and the shower couldn’t be turned down - it’s either boiling, or extra boiling, so much so just two minutes of it being on steamed the bathroom and bedroom.
