The location was good for the time of the year that I was there. If you want peace and quiet, the summer months would be a nightmare for me, being just across the road. The room was clean and comfortable, and the housekeeping staff very friendly and helpful. He king in was quick, eventually, after finding out where I should go and how to get into the car park. The restaurant and bar downstairs was handy and very good - despite a limited menu on my first night.

The first night was quite noisy with music blaring until about 11.30pm. Wi-Fi very limited. Inconsiderate residents in the room next door who didn’t seem to know how to talk at all reasonable volume, lots of banging around and blasting the to volume at 12.30am. I was glad that I was leaving the next day. With no in house staff to speak to, I had to just grin and bear it.

My wife and I travelled to Skegness by train and bus to the Villager on Ingoldmells , I had requested if we could leave our overnight (2nights) bags as we would arrive about 12.00 and check in was 15.00. I was notified that this would not be possible, we stayed in Skegness a hour and made our way on the bus to the villager arriving at 14.00. The plan was to have a drink in the bar but on arriving the lady at the bar advised the room 30 was ready and checked us in. The room was up a flight of stairs but on entering was found to be warm welcoming and very clean. The on suite facility was well equipt. We were well satisfied with our room , comfort warm and cleanliness. My wife noticed that milk , coffee , sugar all provided, travesty no tea bags, (lol). We unpacked and went down to the bar on ordering a drink I mentioned the tea bags, the lady on duty took them straight up and then came and advised it was remedied. This place is in and ideal place for all Ingoldmells facilities and transport hubs. One slight issue in the bathroom was the shower head when switched on slides down the pole, I didn't make an issue of it as we had tape and it was sorted , just mentioned here as an advisory.

On arrival we was greeted by a member of staff at the bar, he explained everything in detail as this was the first time we stayed here, he was a polite gentleman. All the staff was polite and helpful when asked questions. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, I would certainly stay in this hotel again. The room was spacious for a couple and when looked out the window you could see the fair. At night time when in your hotel room you could hear the dj singing and laughing and it was nice to listen to from your room. The breakfasts were lovely in the morning before going out for the day.

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property .

Given the location we were expecting it to be very noisy - especially when we arrived and could barely hear for the DJ outside - but the room was quiet and spacious. The room was immaculately clean, and the bed large and comfortable

We arrived (travelled from a distance) early; and they wouldnt let us get into the car park (there were spaces). So paid for parking (there is only day rate parking around) for the hour early Didnt open until 10 am - so had to go elsewhere for breakfast

Rooms were clean 👌 location fantastic Food was lovely staff are very polite and helpful Beds are really comfortable would definitely say again

The water in the shower changed temperature hot then cold not sure what was wrong but did not really bother us we got used to it Rooms could do with as small fridge as the room was really warm even with the fans would be nice to have a cold drink during the night But these are my preference overall every thing was fantastic

We stayed here for two nights 25th/26th March 2025.. Booking in was really easy the staff were very friendly and quick and easy book in no problems at all.. Room was adequate for our stay had everything we needed and clean.. if we needed anything we only had to ask and was sorted straight away.. I would certainly recommend this establishment again staff were great.. we didn't require breakfast but is available when pub opens.. Thank you all at the Villager Pub.

Room was great. Welcome was great. Very central to everything.

The many stairs were very steep and the corridor was very long. Unable to contact anyone. Tried 4 different numbers and even tried the emergency security number , on the signs outside the room, not one rang. All message boxes were full. Had to wait till pub opened, only to be told none of the numbers worked and there was no one available overnight.

no problems with parking,booking in. we decided to stay 1 extra night but had to change rooms, this was done extremely well. Housekeeping cleaned the room we were moving to first while we went for breakfast, came back and everything was ready to move. Thanks housekeeping.

Was told the bar was open until 2300 but went for a pint at 2230 to be told pumps had been switched off & only bottles available.

The bed was really comfy, we booked for 2 nights and wanted to stay longer.. The room had everything you needed. Good selection of tea and coffee making making facilities. Never enough milk cartons but just ask in the pub and they will happily provide more for you. Iron available on request if needed. You can control the heating in the room and there was a ceiling fan if you were too warm. Pub downstairs is lovely. Everyone was friendly.

If I book again hopefully I'm not in the front of the hotel didn't get much sleep in room 25 were I was before it was perfect in room 29 didn't hear anything wasn't really ideal as we go to bed early as for our age still the best hotel properly request a room farther back next time if im aloud
