We stayed in the deluxe room and it had everything we needed fridge, toaster, microwave, kettle and tea and coffee it's a lovely room and it's on the ground floor so easy access to the carpark ( carpark is free) Tracy and John are the perfect host's so helpful and friendly, we have stayed here before and will continue to stay here in the future...I also would like to say there are seats outside so you can enjoy your morning cuppa in the lovely fresh air..

the two people who ran the place were very kind and made both me and my brother very comfortable. the bed’s were very cosy and the room was just a nice size for the few nights we stayed ( considering we spent most of our time out! ) fantastic experience and would definitely stay again :)

not so much what i didn’t like as everything was perfect, we just had a problem with the shower and getting it to warm up, and it came out a little weak. the side blind in the main area was also broken, but this was probably the fault of whoever has been in previously.

Everything about travellers rest motel was amazing the staff very friendly and helpful they even took me to a destination that i wanted to go because no taxis or uber would pick us up as i have very bad knees hips and ankles in

The local taxi firm's are very unfriendly if yr not going a long distance so if yr disabled you've no chance of getting a ride into sealane from here i was turned down because i was to near my destination

Me and my partner made a last minute decision to take a weekend in skegness so on the drive I had a look online for the best deals. After looking at a few properties I come across the travellers rest motel, had a look through the reviews and photos we decided to book it. On arrival I was a little nervous looking at the outside I thought it looked dated and for the low price we paid I was concerned what I'd be getting. HOWEVER the couple that own it come out to great us, took our detailes and showed us to our room. Let me tell you I was very wrong to be so judgemental from the outside, the room was perfect for us, we had a double bed, private bathroom kettle and coffee, suger ect. And after a long day around ingoldmells i slept like a baby. When we come for another weekend away I'll definitely be looking up the motel for availability. Thank you for having us!

We stayed for 2 days, it was quiet and clean. The staff were lovely and helpful. We had zero complaints. The only thing that I struggled with was how hot the room was as the temperatures were 35 outside. There are fans provided in the rooms. Overall brilliant stay and would recommend it to anyone.

Our room was small but immaculately clean if staying for longer than 1 night we would have opted for a larger room but a lovely guy called John was waiting for us on arrival he showed us to our room and was very kind and helpful we stayed on the hottest night of the year so the room was very hot but that was no fault of the hotel we enjoyed our stay and will definitely return

Maybe a better wardrobe space

The room had everything i needed. Nothing was too much trouble to jay the owner. Incredibly nice person and his wife. All u had to do is ask. He would sort it kindly. He supplied towels tea coffee for the room if needed. Room had a Tv good size too. Wall heater and an electric fan for cool air loved it at night when needed. Even had a small fridge in room. Did i enjoy my 4 days there. Of course was incredible location was 100% too. The best bit is the kebab burger takeaway right next door to the motel opens till 1pm. If u felt hungry at night. All u do is literally take a few steps as its ajoining to the motel exellent prices are very cheap too. £5,50 for a half pounder and chips an drink. Doner wrap large chips drink £6.99 👌 👏

Location and everything that ingoldmells has to offer right on the doorstep of this incredible little motel. Gold mine.

Once arrived, my partner and I were given a very warm welcome by John. The hotel is in an excellent location and about an hours walk from Skegness itself, or 5 or 6 minutes by car (although buses are full during peak season).

I did from time to time, forget about the internal sloping ceiling in Room 10, so kept knocking my head on it, however, I think that's just me being a visually impaired member of the public. We knew we had a shared bathroom, but wasn't an issue. However, we would definably attempt to book a room with an en-suite next time.

The location was perfect. For our 2 night stay. The basic needs of what we required were spot on. Really comfortable bed. Absolutely spotlessly clean. . Tea, coffee tv and a fridge and an ideal ensuit. Staff were super helpful and friendly too. We are already looking to rebook.

The fresh clean smell of all the bedding and towels. Very impressed with the cleanliness and the convenience and the friendly staff.

Room was small but clean was perfect for our one night stay and the owners was very friendly and polite would definitely use them again

There was complimentary tea coffee etc would have been nice for shower gel and shampoo provided as we forgot ours 😞even if it was a miniature sachets
