All the staff (including Cynthia, Elizabeth and "Rainy") were professional, smart and friendly. The level of service was very good. The menu had a wide range of choice and excellent value-4-money with generous portions. I had the steak pie etc for supper. Breakfast was quickly served and set me up for a day's golf at North Shore GC. Plenty of beers and lagers etc at reasonable prices.

There was nothing that I disliked. However, I would say that North Shore represents excellent value-4-money but it's not the Ritz so it's all a question of managing your own expectations! I will be staying there again this year and I would recommend it strongly for the golf, catering and accommodation package.

Beautiful building on luscious grounds, right on the seafront with stunning sandy beach, we even saw a Kingfisher! Room has everything you need: big comfy bed, central heating plus portable radiator, kettle with tea station, television, and the en-suite was spacious with a shower/bath combo and heated towel rack. All very nice! We dined at the hotel one evening at the on-site pub, service was great and the food was wonderful, good price for big portions. We didn't personally play any golf but it was always busy and heard people in good spirits.

It was all lovely - we did pay extra for parking on booking.com though and when we asked about it we were told it didn't matter which was frustrating, and going to reception for assistance we were left standing for a while and was met with short answers. Other than that it was great!

The staff were wonderful, especially Sarah, on reception and the maintenance men who were working on tuesday afternoon when we checked in. We had problems with our first room, so Sarah arranged a room change, and the maintenance man helped us move our luggage as my partner has to walk with a walking stick. Also, the young barman who took our cases upstairs originally.The location on the hotel is great in a quiet area close to the beach and the town.

Our only thing was you not having a lift as the stairs are narrow and we had to walk up 3 flights to reach out room 123. I understand the building is old and full of character, so it would be difficult to install one.

Lovely hotel, perfect location, friendly staff from reception to housekeeping. Room and bed clean and comfortable. Enjoyed our three nights there, sampled the food in the bar on two occasions Lovely food good portions and reasonable prices. As were rhe drink prices. Will certainly stay again.

Nothing to dislike really. Although the fire alarm went off a 4.30am during our first night, apparently someone smoking in their bathroom. There was a large party on our last night, which changed the food service time, purely bu chance we returned early enough to eat, it would have been better if we had been informed in advance about this.

Breakfast was lovely. The full English wasnt buffet style so was very hot, cooked to order and very nice. Our friends had a bar meal and said it was very nice. A few of us had a carvery which was great. Staff were very friendly.

The room was nice but we were rudely woken by a dustbin lorry at 445am on a Monday morning. The room I stayed in was right next to a path and quietish road but the people walking by could look straight in to the windows and many did. The steps approaching the entrance from the car park were quite steep, so not ideal for disabled.

The atmosphere in the hotel was lovely, everyone there and surrounding were kind and helpful when we had questions. The reception staff was incredibly helpful and on hand when needed. The bedroom was a nice size, clean, and the bed was somewhat comfortable but there's nothing like your own bed is there. The beach just down the road was great for us to go sit and relax as we're big beach goers. The food was fantastic aswell always hot when it came out.

The only down side I would say would be getting woken up early on the morning by banging outside. And the sea view was a bit of let down but still beautiful none the less.

The reception staff were very friendly and approachable. The hotel itself was clean..room service was very good. Appreciated them cleaning the bathroom and a tidy of our beds..as my child had very sandy feet. The room was lovely and spacious. The hotel is on lovely grounds with plenty of parking. The bar staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. Made time to have a conversation. Especially with my child. Which made him happy as my son likes to talk to everyone. Easy to check in and fast. Thank you to all the hotel staff for making us all feel welcome.

The restaurant breakfast.. I had to mention to the staff the fact all the tongs on the buffet had been mixed up with meat items and none meat items. There wasn't anyone to welcome us at the restaurant so was unsure if we should sit down or go straight for food. Then when staff did come out they asked what room I was staying in..and how many of us were eating..didn't feel the staff were very attentive. The spot lights above our head was too bright, So had to use the main bedroom light which was a pain. I got woken up at 6am both mornings as the kitchen Canopy was going on and off constantly.

Location is spot on. A few seconds from the hotel and you are on the beach and can also access the coastal path. A peaceful haven away from the madness of the noisy funfair attractions both north and south of Skegness. Helpful, friendly staff and a good breakfast. As it is a golfing hotel there are groups of golfers but it is not exclusively for them. Plenty of other folk on a break there.

Oh, just the usual disappointment for Solo travellers. The single room with hardly any daylight and a view of the pipes and brickwork at the back of the hotel. Sadly, it's the same worldwide. Hey ho..!!!

Great location, easy walk into town. Staff were great.

Slightly tired. I think we had the worst room in the hotel. On the ground floor and completely overlooked by the bedroom windows of a house opposite . The room needs a simple window net or a blind for privacy. We had to keep the curtains closed for the majority of the time. We looked onto a back yard who could be made better by tidying it up. I’m not sure if the cost of the room was reflected in the cost we paid compared to other rooms. We would return, but choose a better room, the majority of which must have sea/golf course views. Please invest in some softer pillows!

We stayed in the lodge part of the hotel , it was just a 3 separate rooms away from the main building, it was small but perfectly comfortable, parking right out side and next to the golf course , so you can hear golfers first thing , but that’s not a problem at all , you can walk to the beach and in to Skegness , we used the car , I’m not a golfer , hubby is but he didn’t take his clubs , but he said it’s perfect for a golfing weekend , we didn’t use the restaurant as we were only there for 2 nights but it did look very nice
