The property is a lovely old building. Tastefully decorated. The staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. We asked for the 10% discount cards to take for breakfast at The Willow Tree Tea Rooms and it was a delicious breakfast. Even though the hotel doesn’t serve food they are happy for you to take a take away and eat it there. Our room was the one with the huge windows overlooking the market place. It was really lovely and the bed was very comfortable. Our dog Paddy was warmly welcomed as well. Fantastic stay. Thank you. We will be back

Jan and Debs were great at helping me to visualise my hen weekend, function room was great space to have a take out, play games, we had access to hotel bar and on same night summer disco on (note the bars licence is untill 11pm but this suited us as we had plans for Sunday). In addition they recommended lovely cafe round corner for breakfast and the sea was only 20 minutes drive away!

There was no air con in the bedrooms, however this is not for everyone and there were windows that opened.

Location is lovely, right in the centre of Alford and overlooking the square. It is a small quiet town, and it was lovely to be staying right jn the centre of it.

No kitchen or restaurant unfortunately, although the bar is lovely and they don’t mind you bringing food to eat in the bar when you are staying there. They also had a fabulous wood fired pizza van outside in the carpark one evening which was lovely.

Great location, lovely and quiet and overlooking the beautiful market. Staff were so lovely and helpful!

The only thing I would say is there is no food served at the hotel. There is a bar and lots of places to get food in the village itself so it wasn’t really an issue, but it is advertised on the website that food is served.

Centre of Alford - our bedroom looked into the market square and had a huge window. Bar was good and very well stocked. Good value for money at £63.00 per night. Sadly breakfast was not an option - although you got 10% off at the Tea room around the corner and that was a great breakfast.

Bathroom smelt damp - we put the extractor fan in for a few ours and it disappeared. Shower cubicle was small.

Jan and Debs were great hosts, made us feel very welcome, gave great recommendation for the Willows Cafe & Restaurant for breakfast round the corner (had full English breakfast which was delicious), room was good price and bed was really comfortable we had a great sleep. Looking forward to returning in the Summer ☀️

Central in Alford but shame Alford isn’t much to look at! Saturday afternoon was dead. Mostly closed by 2pm. Only service type shops anyway.

On Booking.com it says there’s a restaurant. There isn’t any food at all. We knew there wasn’t breakfast. Had a takeaway in our room instead. Couldn’t even get live tv on the tv.

Superb Family friendly accommodation. Staff were lovely, a very relaxed atmosphere, clean and tidy, very welcoming. Generous sized rooms, an abundance of very soft towels, nice comfortable beds, and lovely smelling toiletries in the bathroom. Fridges and microwaves were a nice surprise in the room.

Throughly loved our stay, but perhaps the addition of a breakfast offer would have made it even better. Wifi was a little patchy in places.

We were very disappointed when stripping the bed on our departure. There were no pillow protectors and the mattress protector was very stained. We left early before any staff were on duty so we couldn't discuss this with them. Lovely hotel just a shame about the bed linen

The staff were very friendly. Room was clean, bed lovely and comfy, good choice of tea and coffee, asked for extra milk and received it straight away. Bar prices very reasonable and good entertainment and food vans. Staff very helpful, information given if I needed anything during the night. Would definitely use this hotel again if I'm in the area.
