Christine was a brilliant host and made us feel very welcome and at home. She was ably assisted by Chef Jane who served up two wonderful evening meals as well as fabulous breakfasts. Of course, not forgetting Crumble the German Shepherd who stole the show. The room with ensuite was superb. It took our breath away when we walked in and was spotlessly clean. A lovely location for exploring this part of Lincolnshire. Louth was nice and the coastal beaches from Mablethorpe down to north of Skegness were very nice (less said about Skeggy the better!!). Gunby Hall (just a couple of miles away and a National Trust treasure) was well worth the visit. Overall, a most enjoyable two night stay and we cant wait to make a return visit.

She was able to provide answers to all our questions about the area, times, and directions for getting to the chapel that we decided to do a dummy run the day before, which helped tremendously. We were not local, and after a 5-hour journey up, it took away some of the worry. At breakfast, she gave us a potted history of the building, which also, for a brief period of time, gave respite from the plans of the day ahead.

Right from the entrance it’s pretty and spacey and inviting. The room was stylish but homely too. Details of the room were well-thought out like the light pull cover in the bathroom. It was light and airy. The host was polite and breakfast was so efficient and delicious. Shower was a pleasure. I’d pay more knowing what it’s like.

I’m splitting hairs here, but the toilet roll holder is slightly loose and drops a little. King size bed would be ideal but neither of the above would make me not come back.

We were having a bit of a family emergency with more than 1 person being taken to hospital. This meant that we were likely going to miss check in. Christine was so lovely and went above and beyond to accommodate my husband’s delay and upgraded his room for free, giving him a much needed extra comfy rest after a difficult day. Breakfast was amazing too ! Thank you so much- we will definitely be back soon! Would highly recommend to anyone staying in this lovely part of Lincs.

The friendly, efficient staff. The building itself and its atmosphere. The room was wonderfully spacious, impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable. So well-placed for exploring the beautiful countryside around us. Would definitely recommend.mend highly!

Nothing at all! Just our arrival... The postcode given took us initially to The Red Lion in Spilsby itself. Absolutely grim! But fortunately, it doesn't do accommodation. This made The Red Lion Inn, Partney look and feel even more lovely when we finally reached it - but we may well have just driven home again! T

Exceptionally clean rooms and furnishings were of a high standard. Large bedroom and bathroom looking out onto the beautiful garden area. Christine, the owner, was most helpful and very friendly. Jane, who prepares the food, was most obliging and offered piping hot food at both breakfast and dinner. We can highly recommend this establishment, very good value considering it offers such a high standard of accommodation.

Staff were so attentive, professional, friendly and so welcoming. Food menu was varied and reasonably priced. Portion sizes were generous and food was cooked to perfection. Decor overall was beautiful, homely and calming. Our room was so clean and much thought had gone into its decor. Bed was huge and comfy. Fluffy towels. Quiet at night so we slept really well. Enjoyed our 2 night stay and came home feeling very relaxed.

Quite simply one of the best overnight stays I have ever had. My Mum is 80 and is unable to use stairs or walk any great distance. The little bungalow type building that Chris (the owner) has had built in her gorgeous garden is set up for people with mobility problems. What did we love? Well everything! The standard of cleanliness is exceptional, the décor is stunning, the gardens are so pretty, the outside area is so well kept. The food was great (both evening meal and breakfast) Honestly you can see why they have won awards for all aspects of the business. We both slept soundly in the quiet and in bed linen that smelt fresh and clean. Mum was able to shower in the Wet Room. Wonderful! Chris is an amazing individual and should be so proud of what she has done to make her home so welcoming to her guests. Thanks to Jane the chef, the food was fresh, and tasted delicious! There was absolutely nothing to dislike.

Everything! From the moment we turned up the owner and her chef were so welcoming. The outside space is very well kept , it was lovely having drinks outside. The room was a great size, very clean with everything you need. The breakfast was one of the best we have had. It was a refreshing change that the food was piping hot , which nowadays where ever you go always just seems slightly warm. So it made it exceptional! We also had our evening meal here and again the food was great . We would definitely recommend.

Just want to make people booking the Red Lion that they are quite alot around the area with the same name. Don't make the same mistake as us and turn up at the wrong one . This is the Red lion in Partney . Booking. Com need to make it clear.

This is a lovely hotel, very comfortable with great service. Christine was welcoming and attentive. The rooms were a great size. We stayed in rooms 4 & 5, which overlooked the garden area and were in a separate building. Our daughter stayed in room 1 in the main hotel. All the rooms were beautifully furnished and and very well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. We had dinner on the first night and breakfast both mornings, no complaints. Highly recommend if you are visiting the Lincolnshire Wolds.
