Excellent buffet style breakfast with lots of choices, the room was modern and large and clean with comfy bed, A modern Spa Centre, also dinner was available in the hotel at what appeared to be reasonable prices, though we ate out in local restaurants each evening.

These comments are quite picky and did not detract from a lovely stay at a nice hotel. - The breakfast individual buffet items when running out, were not replenished as quickly as I would have expected. The staff (Though they very nice friendly and polite) sometimes had to be asked for replenishments even though they were in attendance, this however did not detract from my giving the Breakfast high marks the food was excellent. The doors to the rooms are, as often in hotels, on self closing mechanisms which caused all the room doors along our corridor to bang quite loudly and could be clearly heard from within our room, perhaps a soft close mechanism could be used or even a simple felt buffer could be attached to the doors to stop them banging.so loudly

We absolutely loved the location, perfect for a quick city escape! Surrounded by nature, with beautiful walking trails and plenty of outdoor activities, and just a 20-minute drive from one of the most stunning beaches in the GB. The nearby national park was a real highlight. The spa facilities were fantastic, recently refurbished and very well-maintained. We made the most of everything: sauna, steam room, heated loungers, jacuzzi, and even an ice room (though it could’ve used a bit more ice!). The swimming pool was great too. Meals were decent, with a classic menu for both breakfast and dinner. We were especially happy to see a Sunday Roast on offer for dinner. Our room was simple but clean, with comfy sheets and everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

The early check-in option felt a bit unreasonable, and an additional charge of £20 for just two extra hours didn’t seem worth it. The bathroom could definitely use some updating too; it's showing its age, especially with the old-fashioned separate hot and cold taps at the sink.

The dinner for the Cable & Wireless reunion was possibly the best that we have had at our annual reunion at Kenwick Park. The staff were excellent and it was nice to all be on a big table for breakfast in the same room the next morning Overall, my stay was great, but I have a couple of minor criticisms… - The hotel info when you scan the QR code is at least a year out of date – it says risk on it that biscuits as well as tea and coffee are supplied - I was told when I stayed a year ago that biscuits were no longer supplied even though the information said that they were. It also says that there is a safe in the wardrobe . There was no wardrobe/safe. - It was a nuisance continually getting notifications / emails from Booking.com saying I had a new message from Kenwick Park about my stay as I worried that a problem had arisen about my booking.

Fabulous building in spectacular grounds. Beds were really comfortable and lovely sized room. Breakfast was great with a good selection of hot and cold options.

Couldn’t get into the spa as it was fully booked when we arrived. I’d purposely booked somewhere with a spa but couldn’t pre book the spa as we didn’t know when we would arrive. Really disappointed. Bathroom could have done with a shelf to put toiletry bags on as it was quite small. The roast dinner vegetarian option was to either have the roast without meat or to have vegetarian sausages. Shame they didn’t do a proper vegetarian option with some kind of nut roast or mushroom wellington etc, however the roast was good.

very nice staff always ready to help great swimming pool sauna and jacuzzi, very warm inside the facility, clean toilets and changing rooms. Great place for quiet relaxation.

We have been to this hotel several times, unfortunately this time we got a very old room with a rather uncomfortable bed and no internet access, I mean very poor coverage in this room. Unfortunately, the outdoor pool was closed and there was no information about it on the hotel website. I hope that during our next stay we will regain the old comfort of traveling.

The staff were fantastic. They were friendly and accommodating and made the stay feel that much better. The food was lovely. We had breakfast and there was a big selection which was kept fresh and topped up regularly. The setting had also been newly decorated. The leisure centre was also lovely to use. We used the pool twice with the family. It was clean and not overcrowded.

The only down side was how hot the building was. We had the fan on in our bedroom and window open but it was still a lot even with no radiators on! The restaurant was hot for breakfast and dinner also and the staff were trying hard to not show how hot they were whilst doing their job.

The car park had ample free spaces and easy access to the reception area. The reception staff were friendly. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows which was nice. I personally think there should be a full size bottle of refillable shower gel on the wall in the bathroom and do away with the individual tiny tubes of shower gel and get away from a soap bar at the sink..not very environmentally friendly. Air conditioning was very nice.

Paying £98 for a room for one night with no breakfast included is in my opinion, quite expensive. The outside area going through to the main hotel doorway was dirty with litter and some cigarette butts on the ground. In the bedroom there was dust in places. Thinking of the bedside reading lights, it had to be both wall lights on or non at all, not very good when one wants to read in bed and the other one wants to sleep. Not much in the way of coffee etc on the hospitality tray but more was provided via reception. Quite a long walk for someone with some mobility issues from reception to our room which was 113! Personally, a dimmer switch for the bathroom would be a nice touch.

The staff were wonderful! They were all very friendly, helpful and professional.

The room needs updating. The first night the radiator in the bathroom was blasting out heat and made it extremely hot and even the cold tap in the bathroom sink was running hot water! The thermostat on the radiator was off, so I had no way of turning the heating down. On Saturday I spoke with reception and they dealt with the issue which was fantastic. When I went back into the room later the heating had been turned off. Unfortunately on Sunday morning when I had a shower there was no hot water! I informed reception later that morning and I'm sure this has now been resolved.

the overall experience was good from start to finish, on arrival I was greeted with a smile, i requested the optional upgrade and this was provided, the Euro's were on and the hotel provided a separate room with screen so that other guests would not be disturbed. booking for dinner was easy and the food was very good, in fact I enjoyed my meal that I had the same for 2 nights. I had my breakfast outdoors and nothing was a problem for the staff to move me! and the view made it even more enjoyable I was at the far end of the hotel (in the newly decorated wing) the room was nicely done, the Air con worked and WIFI reached me. Now that I have learned that the hotel is pet friendly I intend to return.

Breakfast: Very good but larger fruit selection would be good. The two female Staff at breakfast were incredible! Excellent location, staff and cleanliness. Beautiful area and gardens. Rooms were a great size and the pool was wonderful. We will definitely be coming back for longer every summer! Evening meals were really very good, we were so impressed and the staff couldn’t do enough to help us!

Our bedroom window wouldn’t stay open and the room was very hot (to be expected during this weather) the curtains were dated but if that’s all there is to dislike, you are doing an incredible job!
