Great location. Good value for money. Great choice for breakfast and restaurant food lovely. Dinner normal pub prices not stupid hotel prices. Friendly staff. Spacious room and lovely big bed. Public areas had lovely decor.

Could have done with some hand soap in room, maybe I should have asked. Bedside lamps need updating and decor alittle dull in our room but it was a nice spacious room. Pictures of local scenery or wildlife or local places would be nice in the room. Towels on the bed on arrival is unnecessary, guests just have to move them when they arrive.

Location - lovely Staff polite and helpful - thank you The food was enjoyable and good value -very generous portions sizes Room service- was a bonus! Up until 11.00am for check out

Extremely early morning trade delivery just below the window, loud, banging & clattering - not ideal at all!! Maybe a note for potential guests saying which rooms are affected by these deliveries. This early morning disruption then had a knock on effect it was difficult to get back to sleep. It was disappointing to say the least when we had a long onward journey.

Attractive hotel In pleasant grounds and in good location for visiting Louth and the wolds. Dinner was excellent with a very good choice of menu. Staff were friendly and polite

The room we stayed in was a little tired looking especially the bathroom. We were woken in the morning at 6 by a rumbling machinery noise. The room was very hot and radiator in bathroom was overpowering. Breakfast was ok but would have been nice if there was sliced up fruit to have rather than just whole fruit

Well presented smaller hotel. My room was large, comfortable and very clean. Great choices at breakfast and a lovely choice of meals in the evening. Enjoyed both meals and the staff were friendly and efficient.

The only reason why I could not give excellent was the fact my radiator in the room was constantly on at high temperature which made the evening uncomfortable. The valve did not work. Sort the radiator and temperature out and the room is excellent.

Beautiful breakfast served by the most lovely waitress Tracy, the room was large and the shower was very roomy. Fantastic evening meal & I'd rate the food 10 out of 10. Lovely reception staff and bar staff, all in all a lovely stay. Not far to the town of Louth which had many different shops and we saw many pubs! We walked around the Park (Hubbards Hills) then walked from there into the town on a lovely warm day. People there are very friendly.

The bed was uncomfortable for our tastes, rather hard and lumpy and it still had on the thick winter quilt not a summer one on the hottest of nights!

Breakfast was nicely cooked but limited with choice e,g fruit, yoghurts, pastries. Dinner was mixed. Mains lovely but the ice cream sundae was like eating leftovers as the cake was stale and rock hard Room. - lovely room, very clean and comfy but we didn’t have a bath towel each. Just one large and one hand towel. It would have been nice to have had two hot chocolate satchets rather than one. And no biscuits,

Breakfast. More choice needed e.g, fruit , yoghurt and pastries. We had only one big towel and one smaller towel between us. No biscuits with tea and coffee in the room.

Excellent food and lovely room helpful staff

We had a dog with us for evening meal we went to sit in the lounge and the barman said oh you have a dog can you go in the conservatory. We went in the to go the a table he said no not there thats set for 4. Go in the corner.. within minutes couple came in with dog and just sat in lounge nothing said to them then 2 other couples with dogs came in still nothing said to them about sitting in the lounge. The table for 4 in conservatory no one came to sit there. We felt very upset about it because 4 people came in with a big dog snd we had a small dog and felt very uncomfortable snd rushed our evening meal to get out quickly. We were in the conservatory and it was our anniversary which spoilt our night. (Wednesday 5th june )

Liked our room (the deluxe) the jacuzzi bath with lights and TV was huge fun ,never had that in a room before ,bar was nice ,breakfast was of excellent quality ,perfect eggs Benedict ,I felt like nothing was done on the cheap and the cost of our room was a bargain ,staff were very friendly .The outside areas to sit and have a drink were very pleasant and we had a walk around to look at the lodges that are still in progress ,that will be a very nice area when finished

Bedroom was a bit hot as temperatures outside were unusually high and there wasn't a fan or any air con

First thing in the morning, we chose simply bacon and eggs at breakfast as we were in a hurry. They were the most delicious eggs and slices of bacon we've enjoyed for a long time. Absolutely fantastic. We requested a room near reception, as my wife walks with a stick, and we were well accommodated with a ground floor room, close to the front.

Unfortunately the coffee at breakfast is a bit grim. Even at 7am when it's technically been freshly made, it's as though it's been sitting on the coffee machine since the previous evening. I'm not sure that someone who enjoys drinking coffee has taste tested the breakfast coffee.

The Evening staff were lovely and the lady who did the night reception was really nice, friendly and easy to talk to, The location was very pretty and Scenic. The Breakfast was excellent, Drinks were a bit pricey especially the Theakstons beer. Loved the Dog Friendly policy. The evening staff were very friendly.

The bed was a bit too hard, Could not get Internet on the free Brackenborough Wi-Fi. no shower gel in the bathroom. Also I did notice in the dining area foodstuffs on the floor that had been not cleared when all tables and surrounds should be totally clean for Health and Hygiene purposes. The Morning Breakfast staff were not that friendly and their customer service was lacking especially as the breakfast was not busy as counted 5 tables occupied for breakfast when we had breakfast at 8 am and they made us feel like the dog should not be in the dining room as they put us right near the door.
