The hotel is really lovely and inviting inside as you walked in very smartly decked out. All the staff are very friendly polite happy and extremely helpful. Kate who never stopped all day, and Sam on reception, Lyndsey serving breakfast. Clive the lovely Chef cooking the yummy breakfast, Di and Mandy housekeeping. Nothing was too much trouble regarding everything, and everyone, all smiles. We had our little dog Pearl with us and she was fussed and treated very well by all the staff. Our room was ground floor due to our disability needs, and it was a fantastic room. Our car was parked right outside our window, on the back car park, bonus. Breakfast was stunning cooked to perfection and plenty of options served to you at your table. Outside there are several seats and tables to just relax have a tea or a beer. We did that one morning after breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed just chilling, it's on a nice quiet side road and a few yards at the end is the seafront. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The only small thing we didn't like was our wooden floor in the room was quite dirty. We checked into our ground floor room we needed due to mobility issues. We took our shoes off and walked up and down unpacking. I realised then my feet were black and dusty so we kept our slippers on. The beds were quite hard but everyone is different in the likes of a mattress. Everything else about the room was brilliant.

Having parking at the rear of the hotel was a real result. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating, they moved our rooms around so our family could have 2 rooms next to each other. The breakfast was lovely with an old school chief who popped out the kitchen to check everything was ok. Nice little seating area out the front to enjoy the evening sunshine. Very clean and tidy with loads of curiosities to check out. I would definitely recommend this hotel. I can't understand why anyone would give this establishment a bad review.

Great location, the house was a good size and had plenty of room, the kitchen had everything you'd expect, and the overall condition of the property was good.

The back door was screwed shut, rendering the car park to the rear of the place harder to get to than it really should be. The included parking isn't fit for purpose, which is okay, but it shouldn't be sold as included. I paid for parking in the nearby council car park. The house was nice but appeared to have been empty for some time and was a bit musty. A bottle of shower gel would have been a plus, I had to leg it to the shop before I could get a shower.

Paid for executive room don’t think we’d cough up again for this . We were a little disappointed . A shame because minor improvements could so put things right . We stayed in room 12 .On arrival I noticed straight away there was just half a toilet roll in the bathroom . The grouting needs attention around the jacuzzi bath ….a quick job . There were no litte bottles of complimentary bath gels . A dispenser on the wall is no good to use for a bath . Executive ??? Not an expensive touch for customer satisfaction . The bedroom was very cluttered with furniture making it difficult to walk around the end of the bed on the left hand side . Had to be very careful not to catch your leg on the end of the bed . The bed wasn’t overly comfortable it was quite lumpy and the street light outside had the room lit up when it was dark . The car park at the back was great . The location was fabulous for town and beach we did both. Breakfast was great the women were busy but did fantastic job ….Thankyou . We would stay again but wouldn’t book an executive room not worth the extra money .

Everywhere was clean and there were good facilities including a bar, free WiFi and parking. The room was well decorated and welcoming.

Although clean the bathroom in our room was a little dated and could perhaps have done with a spruce up. We paid extra for breakfast which was a really good price but it wasn't clear from the menu what was included and what you would need to pay extra for. Not a massive issue for us as we only wanted the full English but if we'd have wanted cereal too it wasn't clear if we would have been charged for this. We didn't ask as it wasn't an issue for us but we overheard a family on the next table trying to work it out too.

The staff were very friendly and professional and we were made to feel very welcome. The room was fine and, amazingly, the central heating worked! It went a little cool in the evening and despite it being 'summer' the heating came on. Lots of hot water, too. Breakfast was fine - waitress service at your table with plenty of choice. There is a bar and a lounge, as well. Ideally situated near the promenade.

Location was perfect. We were central to local amenities. Staff were welcoming, friendly and always happy to help if required. Food was cooked to perfection and hot Room was nice and clean. Only downside for me was the pillows. They were not comfortable but then I am picky about my pillow.

Pillows were uncomfortable (but I am picky so it may just be me).

The room was really clean and well looked after. Perfect for us and our two children and an added bonus that we could take our dog with us.

The parking is very restricted because of the way the parking spaces are laid out but due to the lack of space, I understand there’s not much they can do about it. The system they have works well, it just meant we were woken up at 6:30am to move the car.

It is a well placed small hotel with a lovely bar and outdoor terrace. The staff are excellent. The room was lovely, comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable. The ensuite large if a little dated. Overall, a great place to stay. Both the hotel and the resort were very accomodating to our dog. I wouldn't hessitate to recommend to friends.

the bed was four poster but the mattress was not comfortable it's kept sinking into to it didn't get much sleep, the last time i stayed bed was very good that's only thing let it down was the bed
