The hotel has an excellent location, within easy walking distance of the seafront and local attractions. However, it was far enough away to not be affected by any noise. The room was very quiet and comfortable, very spacious and served our purposes very well. The staff were very warm and welcoming and even helped me back the car into the car parking space on arrival!

It was a pity that there was nowhere to eat your breakfast: we had to take it to our room where we didn't have a proper table and chairs as the bar appeared to be closed. Aside from this, I don't really have any negative remarks or criticisms to make.

We had a family room and a double room, both were beautifully clean and nicely decorated. The family room was extremely spacious with a double bed and a attached room with two single beds ideal for us. For adults, the double again was nice and spacious and situated in a House connected to the hotel. We had a referee continental breakfast with plenty to choose from and fresh coffee. Downstairs was a bar that was quite lively during the evening but there was no noise during the night. It was close to all amenities. Perfect for what we needed. Staff were very helpful and got us checked in earlier and pointed us in the direction of free parking.

We booked a twin ensuite room and were given a very large room (11) with a single and a double bed at the back of the hotel, which was very quiet, clean and comfortable, although a bit dated. The self-service continental breakfast was adequate and plentiful, as was the well stocked in-room hospitality tray. The hotel's location, on a main road leading to the town centre, a 10 minutes walk to the promenade, pier, railway station, and central beach, was very good for us. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

The hotel's limited onsite free parking (6 cars) plus free roadside parking outside the hotel proved adequate for our needs.

Loved the people and the atmosphere, loved the help yourself breakfast, meat and cheese and bread were very nice ( there was lots more choice) Bar prices were cheap and we were made to feel extremely welcome. The whole place is quirky with its deco in the bar to the layout of the hotel but I liked this. Gave the place lots of character. Yes the rooms could do with a lick of paint and updating but then the venue would be twice the price! Decent sized mugs and kettle In the room. Easy walk down to the pier and an amazing fish n chip shop in erny beckets as recommend by the hotel. Would stay again

Second time staying at The Clee, really nice to just get a couple nights away. The staff are always amazing and nothing is too much trouble for them. The lady that does the breakfast shift is delightful,always smiling and bubbly ready to help with breakfast and keeping everything stocked and clean. We were recommended a really nice takeaway called pepi's that delivered to the hotel and we were allowed to eat downstairs in the bar too. The bedroom was perfectly sized for me and my son, beds were okay, not the comfiest but still good with plenty of bedding and towels, soap, toilet roll, tea, coffee, sugar, milk etc. all the standard stuff you'd expect to find in a hotel room.. including a mini fridge and hairdryer. The bathroom was good, with a large mirror with a light above (perfect for putting my contacts in), however a bit of a squeeze on the toilet for the bigger sized folk, it was situated next to a shower cubicle and a sink in front of the toilet. There wasn't a remote for the tv, but we weren't in the hotel long enough to utilise it and the one night we were, we used my laptop. We shall most definitely be returning again :D Thank you for having us

We didn't stay in the main hotel but were shown to a house just down the road. The 1st floor room facing the road was of a very decent size with 2 windows and was bright, clean and airy. Parking facilities are at the front of the house or at the main hotel. Facilities were as advertised, and the photos were accurate. Breakfast was in the main hotel and was fresh and had sufficient choice. Good value for money. Good and quiet location within easy walking distance to beach/restaurants/bars etc. Would recommend and would stay again.

Not many places in the bathroom to place own toiletries, eg shelving.

The hotel staff where very friendly and helpful, nice little pub inside the hotel fair prices at the bar. About 10 minute stroll to the pier & beaches. Will stay again.

The silicone in the shower needs cutting out as mouldy, looks worse than is but simple fix. Mattresses are past there best, wife said she had trouble sleeping. You would not know it from the snoring. The above are minor niggles that would get picked up over the season and fixed I`m sure.

The rooms were lovely, clean ,they had a tv plenty of space, tea and coffee supplied along with the kettle. Even had a little fridge which was handy. The bathroom was clean and everything was just spot on. Free WiFi too. We arrived early but the staff checked us in which was great and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. breakfast was included in the price with plenty of options. The hotel was a 5/10 min walk from promenade so good location and they accepted dogs too x I have no negatives the place was great and would defo stay again xx

The room where you got your breakfast was quite small and didn't help that everyone seemed to go down at the same time and some of the people seemed to think they were in their own kitchen(not a reflection on the hotel but an annoying side factor).. Car park was full also so had to park on the main road which my friend didn't feel good about.

Big clean rooms. Beds comfortable and clean. Lovely shower and clean towels. Water, tea and coffee in the room. Asked for a quiet room and was given room 12 on the ground floor at the back, it was perfect. My son has Autism and they were happy to arrange this room for us. They allowed up to see the breakfast room so he knew what to expect. Good choice of continental breakfast, cereals, toast, crumpets, croissant, waffles, pancake, cheese and ham, yogurts, fresh juice and coffee.

Parking was tight, but we got a spot on the road outside Bit of noise from other guests, but that's not the fault of the hotel
