This is an exceptional venue. As a cycling tour we were deleighted with the quality of the whole venue, resurant, bar, rooms and their willingness to accomodate our cycles in a safe storage facility. We were there at the same time as wedding which put a strain on the staff but all remained very friendly.

The service at both dinner and breakfast turned out to be quite a comedy of errors. Even the people they sent in to sort it out could not manage to get the order right and all the food arriving in a sensible, coordinated fashion. Iput this down to the prssure of a full wedding going on next door!!

Nice quiet location clean rooms comfy bed

Cold breakfast first day with a bit chaotic service no clear tables the place is cashless which didn’t know so won’t stay again don’t agree with cashless and the lad behind the bar disappeared has soon as he had served us felt like we had disturbed him so we only had the one drink and left the whole hotel felt a bit souless which is a shame because it was a nice getaway place stayed at sister hotel which was fab so thought it would be same

The location was good by car however it is a bit in the middle of nowhere, its a 15 minutes drive to Cleethorpes which was a nice seaside town and in my opinion was slightly cheaper than Blackpool, with regards to food options and bar drinks. The breakfast at the hotel was pleasant you could order off a small menu, then chop and change what you would like to eat. The bar was a pricey but reasonable, the staff were ok but some not so clued up. Overall a welcome comfortable weekend break from the norm.

Option to just sit in the restaurant area just to have drinks and not being pestered and asked by every staff member if we were going to have something from the menu. The restaurant prices were a bit steep considering there is nowhere else locally to eat.

Breakfast was lovely you got what you wanted from table then they came round for your breakfast order staff were exceptional couldn’t do enough for you they were a credit to the hotel

Only thing was room bathroom door which was very heavy was stuck to floor so was really hard to close but told receptionist she put it down for maintenance to do all staff were brilliant from management to bar staff and waitresses and waiters would definitely go there again

Organisation was excellent. We were staying at the hotel for a family wedding. The wedding and function were also held at the hotel. Waiting and bar staff were very friendly. Great management staff and customer service. Very nice breakfast and choice.

Just an observation, but there was some over spray of some sort on the inside of our bathroom door. May have been cleaning product, not wiped off thoroughly. Other than that, everything was great.

Myself, my mum & Rod The Dog went for a last minute break & found the surroundings beautiful. Very enchanting place that had EVERYTHING we needed. The staff were so warm & welcoming & nothing was too much trouble. Rachel, Tracy, Tom & his sister were all wonderful. Charlie the duty manager was amazing & made us feel special. The food was incredible, evening meal & breakfast in bed. The room was spotless, bed SO comfy, so felt totally relaxed on return home. Thank you so much. We WILL be back.

No faults at all

Ate in the restaurant.. Food was good and the waiter was exceptionally attentive and professional. Really good chips!! Room was a good size,. clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was OK and as expected. Served quickly and again staff friendly and helpful.

Walls between rooms were very thin and you could hear each other quite easily. Something to be aware of if you visit also the lighting in the bedroom was quite dim plus the light above the dressing table didn't work so that could perhaps be improved. But nothing that would put me of staying again

Breakfast was ok. quite a small portion. only one of each item. Evening meal was not good. burger with bacon and chips. bacon was barely cooked and not enough chips for £19.00. understand its a wedding venue but when being used for work food and drinks were expensive. picture of Burger attached.

Perfect for touring the beautiful county of Lincolnshire. Situated next to a beautiful church and fields all around with an oil refinery looming behind gives an almost surreal War of the World's feel, but completely fascinating. Both breakfast and dinner we had at the hotel were lovely. Staff were so helpful and friendly.

Could have maybe had a little more lighting in the room, Low lighting is great for relaxed evening, but no so much for busy mornings getting ready.

Lovely location and great size of room. Staff were were pleasant. Perfect for what we needed and lovely space.

It was a shame that different deals were given/available to different couples within our group even though we booked at the same time. The tap and toilet were so loud in our room that it woke up other guests - just a little plumbing jobs hough I'm sure.
