Great location, comfortable bed Great food in the restaurant/ pub all at a reasonable price You will see some very negative reviews on here for this place People need to remember what they paid for this accommodation I am not saying it’s bad in anyway and it’s not the Ritz but for less then £65 a night you get a seafront location with a clean and comfortable bed Yes the rooms are a little dated but have all the facilities you need The rooms are cleaned every day and for the price you pay it’s a great deal The food in the restaurant / pub below is good and very reasonable I have been using “ The Wellow “ regularly over the past few years while looking to buy some properties locally and have always had good stays here as I say it’s not a top hotel but you are not paying top hotel prices The staff here are always friendly and very helpful nothing is to much trouble for them So to sum up If you want basic accommodation on the seafront and close to everything at a reasonable cost with good food also at a reasonable price This is the place you should book

Warm friendly welcome. Every single staff member was helpful and efficient. Room was very reasonable priced and although a little dated had everything we needed for our stay including free parking( huge bonus) Very comfy bed and huge snuggly pillows..plenty of hot water...bath and shower with safety handle very useful. Food was generous and tasty served on warmed plates and great offers each day. Everywhere was immaculately cleaned as staff made a great effort despite being extremely busy due to unexpected great weather! We haven't stayed before but will definitely return. Thanks to you all.

It was spot-on. Very good value for money! Budget room with a good value Hungry Horse restaurant/bar downstairs. Plenty of parking and loads of outdoor seating. Yes, you get what you pay for, but our room was clean, the beds were comfy with lovely crisp, white bedding. You could also order food and drink from the pub to be delivered to your room, toiletries and towels were provided as well as a fan, an iron and ironing board, and a hairdryer. Couldn't fault it! 👌 We stayed for 2 nights for Docksfest and ate in the restaurant, which didn't disappoint. The food was fresh and scorching hot every time. Their salt and chilli fries were amazing!! So much so, I asked to take some of the seasoning home 😁 Staff were lovely too! Even though it was the Euros, and were super busy, they were polite and friendly, and that's bloody hard to do when it's that busy, every telly is on full blast, every table was full and it was getting rowdy! So, hats-off to them! 🫡 Thank you for exceeding our expectations! My husband and I (plus my horrendous hang-over!) very much appreciated it! ❤️

The hotel was convenient for getting around Cleethorpes. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you. The room needed a bit of loving care. Some of the paper was peeling from the vanity unit and the bathroom although clean had rust around the plug socket in the bath and the tops of the sink taps kept falling off. All that said the room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the bedding and bathroom towels were very very clean the pillows were lovely and plump and comfortable. Hairdryer, iron and ironing board were there as were tea and coffee making facilities. It would have been nice to have a bottle of water, even a small one, until you could locate a shop to buy a bigger one Instead of having to use water from the bathroom tap. The other slight problem was that the bar/ restaurant didnt open untill 11am so unable to get breakfast. However, for the cost the hotel was very good and would use it again.

I am disabled and over 65 so not having a lift and being on the first floor was a bit difficult. However, the young girl in the bar kindly carried my suitcase up to the room for me. I wouldn't have managed otherwise.

Nice staff members especially the room cleaners the lad with short brown hair and glasses who works at the bar showed us to our room on the Saturday and served us drinks on the Sunday in the pub (sorry I didn't get his name) Great size of room. We got the family room as I went with my friend but he is quiet a bit man so I knew a single bed wouldn't be big enough for him. I was happy in the bunk bed. Large TV. Kettle, cups, glasses and choose if hot drinks plenty of milk provided too. I also liked that we had both a bath and proper shower with hot running water. View was okay as well.. The pub is at a fantastic location. A short walk from the pier, beach and amusements and next door to a bowling alley and cinema! McDonald's, KFC and Taco Bell also a short walk away our you can get a bus as there's plenty of busses and bus stops just outside of the hotel pub. Check out was easy enough. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Only minor thing was there was no soap in the hand wash dispenser but we made do with the hair and body wash to wash out hands.

Lovely staff, very welcoming, friendly at all times, Sunday roast was excellent and plenty of it, breakfast next morning was too,we thought it may have been noisy as we were over the pub but wasn't too bad, didn't affect our stay,the price of stay was really good I had a lovely leisurely hot bath too ,so now we've found it we will always stay whenever we are in Cleethorpes , which is quite often

Was a little noisy around 2.30 am , sounded like someone was repairing something downstairs but didn't last too long and hubby never woke up, probably my big ears lol

There's a good, Friendly, atmosphere here. Welcoming. The people that come in are friendly and the staff are brilliant. They go above and beyond. It's very well kept and clean and caters to everyone. The tvs for the sports, good food for the money, decent pool table and seating is well set out. The rooms are affordable and great for the cost. Nice comfy beds, good sized tv in the rooms, positioned well. Spacious enough.

The hotel was in a great location for walking into the town and sea front. The food was good and very reasonable pricing as a family of 4 they catered for all of us. The room was well equipped with everything you could need for a couple of days stay,, tea and coffee making facilities, iron, and a hairdryer. We have said that we would definitely return to stay again.

The shower in the room we had (family room) room 7 was dreadful, it was hard to keep the shower on for any time at all and when we did manage to keep it running the pressure was so low that it wasn't adequate to use as a shower. We did mention this to a staff member, and they said that it had been reported a number of times, but its not being repaired.

Part of Hungry Horse so food excellent. Towels and coffee tea refreshed daily. Spacious room. Free parking. Excellent friendly staff. Close to beach and restaurants, KFC, subway, macdonalds. Walking distance to cleethorpes pier.

Lack of draws in room. Shower was poor. The whole building could do with a make over. Restaurant does not open until 11 am would have had breakfast if available earlier

I enjoyed my breakfast would like my toast lightly toasted instead of well done, but when I asked for lightly toasted I was accomadated so no other issues.

Bacon over cooked a little was dry to eat and hard to swallow. I asked for scrambled and bread and butter one morning and I was given scrambled egg on toast I didn't complain because I was hungry but a bit more notice on the order would be appreciated in future.
