The greeting was both welcome and pleasing especially when a pot of tea was offered and gratefully received. There is a patio are that is shared by 2 rooms that is a wonderful place to sit and relax. The room itself was a really nice size with a vaulted ceiling. Bed was comfortable with minimum roll together and bounce. Shower room meant that there was plenty of room and the towels provided were very nice. Toiletries were also provided but not used. Breakfast is not provided but there is a room available that has a microwave and fridge. Lots of tea, coffee etc available as required. Overall can't recommend this place enough. We both felt relaxed within minutes after a 4 hour drive.

I loved everything about it, the location, the quietness, just what I needed to take time out! My room was equipped with everything anyone could possibly need and if it wasn’t in the room and it’s listed my hosts Richard and Judith could bring it! Brilliant big shower, a fantastic comfy bed, light & airy and windows to open to let fresh air in and the sound of the birds singing in the morning! I stayed 2 nights and I didn’t want to leave, it was perfect! The surroundings were stunning, very well kept & beautiful plants & fields to look over! Richard and Judith are amazing hosts, friendly, welcoming and ready to help if needed! Thank you both so much

N/A to our stay

It was a lovely clean room with a comfortable bed, ideal 'bathroom' (shower) good internet and a very generous supply of tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc. Worth the price even without a breakfast.

The noise from a pump was disturbing although it went off at 10pm so I slept well until 0530 when it came on once, then the bin lorry passed by... I was up and ready to leave by 0730 but had to wait until the breakfast location was open (which I knew about in advance). I was thus able to do some work on my laptop.

Spacious ground floor room and shower room. Good to have a settee,also a microwave and toaster with plates and cutlery.

Would have been good to have a small table with maybe stools that went under as somewhere to eat in the room instead of outside tables that are round the corner, as the room has facilities to make breakfast or a take away meal.

West View is in a beautiful rural location. The hosts Richard and Judith were very welcoming and friendly with drinks and cake in their conservatory. Our room, Barn owl, was really beautiful with an excellent tray of teas, coffees etc and attention to detail for toiletries and thoughtful extras. We will definitely visit again and also intend trying one of their 3 holiday cottages some time in the future. Many thanks

Everything really good

The location was lovely and quiet and peaceful. The hosts were lovely and very kind and nothing was too much trouble. There was a good supply of information and maps about the local area which was very useful.

It was a bit awkward not having a sink to wash up dirty crockery and cutlery. I wish I had brought sponge , washing up liquid and tea towel but we managed.

The room was delightful. The host was friendly and always around. There was everything you need in the room. A great amount of information about the property and local amenities

If only there was breakfast but this is reflected in the price. It is a bit of a walk to the local village to reach shops and restaurants.

Stayed here before and found the room to be very comfortable. Our room had toaster, mcrowave, mini fridge and kettle. Lovely surroundings and very peaceful. Unfortuatly didnt meet the hosts as we were up early and back late as we were racing at Cadwell park.

Nothing to dislike

Quiet location, well kept gardens, lovely room with private access. Particularly liked the owners Richard and Judith who went out of their way to make us feel very welcome
